Personallity: Very social, but his voice is very hoarse and scratchy and prefers to whisper. Many people believe him insane because he believes blood is the end all be all, and will drink the blood of his fallen foes. He believes that by drinking the blood of his fallen foes he envelopes their power and puts their souls at peace. He has no idea where he came from but all he knows is he was born in the jungle in Nan Zhong, this leads him to solemn conversations about family and believes that every child should know that their father either died in battle gloriously or by old age. He prefers to work alone, but is a very competent commander. He is cruel in his regiment, but his men respect him. He is firm in his believes and doesn't mind who he works for as long as he has something to do.

Zhu Jian was born in a small village in Nan Zhong province. His mother died while giving birth to him, and all she had was a small hut on the outside of the village. The villagers took care of the boy at first, until he was 11. Then, he had to work for his food, sometimes working from sun up til sun down. Luckily he grew fast and strong and by the age of 15 he could easily work with any of the men. However, his true calling turned out to be a swordsman. While starting at the age of 16, the local swordsman took him under his wing, and taught him the workings of a long blade.
However, his master died when he was 18 and he went off to study alone. Not much is known about this time of his life except the fact that he found his armor and Odachi, and became skilled knives and the odachi. His in stainable bloodlust now formed and his ruthlessness shocked many around him, the drinking of the blood turned many potential allies away, but he stood strong. His ethics of brutality and efficiency still gathered him a small group of dedicated soldiers. He then set out to find a lord worthy of being under. He didn’t care much. He just wanted a lord to accept his… actions.
However, he came across a girl named Mei Xin, who was in love with him. He and his group of bandits raided caravan's, pillaged villages, and created their own city of Fèng Huáng. However, during one of the planned raids, Mei Xin betrayed Zhu Jian and he ruthlessly murdered her.
