So has anyone else got the game yet? Only played though orochi's story so far but it looks quite good only complaint is there is still the problem were enemy officers seem to vanish then reappear.

It has already been released in Europe and Today in the U.S Warriors Orochi 2 (Europe) Official Site is already Launched. warriorsorochi.co.uk/2/ (Warning alot of spoilers!) The enemy peons that you defeat seem to stay on the battle field a little longer than before. But I don't mind that officers seem to vanish then reappear as long as I kick butt I wont care! XD I am getting it today or tomorrow it depends when it arrives at a store near me. This game will be 100 times better than the first one. When you visit the site you can hear all of the characters voices at the bottom. They have changed Cao Pi's VA and has been replaced by his DW6 VA! I think He sounds so generic now his DW6 VA sounds better with his DW6 model.

After you beat the stories there isn't anything else to do. Of course, that's a flaw in pretty much all of Koei's games, isn't it?

There are quite a few different stories to go through on most of them though. but on warriors orochi your right, they need to add more content.
But the dueling part of this is very good

Well, I did neglect the Empires games. Those can actually keep you pretty busy. I just wish the multiplayer could be done like risk. A bunch of players with territories fghting over China... it could be done online.

No, it really wouldn't. I doubt it would take much longer than a normal Empires campaign takes. You also seem to forget the power of time limits. When time runs out, the player with the most territory wins. Trust me, it's possible. Koei just doesn't know quality if it bit them in the ass.
*gasp* OMG I just bashed Koei, didn't I? Yeah, I'll admit it, Koei games don't exactly live up to any expectations. I play them simply for historical value, which of course Dynasty Warriors never really had to begin with. This is why I'm a die-hard Samurai fan. Three Kingdoms officers are either overhyped or completely butchered. For instance, Liu Bei's so called rightousness is simply exaggerated from the novel (which is not TOTALLY historical by the way). Another example, Zhang He, need I say more about butchering certain individuals?

I mean come on its just a Game that is souless... or somewhat Soulless.

I'm not saying Samurai is better. It really all depends on preference and opinion, and that was mine.
And I think it's a good thing to complain about a game's drawbacks. Why? It's supposed to give developers something to go one when looking to improve the game for the sequel. Does Koei do this? No. Every game except Dynasty Warriors 6 used the same recycled graphics, weapons, and just about everything except music. Dynasty Warriors 6 was the first real change, but Koei managed to fuck that up by leaving it half finished. So now I stick to RPing instead of the games themselves. I'd much rather RP Samurai Warriors but there aren't any forums dedicated to them. Don't get me wrong, I love RPing Dynasty Warriors but I'm just a samurai at heart, that's all.
Anyway, back to Warriors Orochi 2. It needs either more stories, or WAY better Free Mode stuff to do. Like I said, once the stories are all done, the game stops being fun. If Koei really wanted to rejuvenate my faith in them they could release a Warriors Orochi Empires? I mean come on Koei! It would be entirely original, as the map would be a warped fusion of china and japan. AND you can build up your dream empire with your favorite officers from BOTH series? Not to mention that, as I stated before, an Empires game would keep you way more busy and would have MUCH better replay value.

Hmmm, i guess. They were just a little too... fantasy :L A monkey flying around on a cloud. And a man slaying men by the hundred holding gigantic prayer beads? ? Bleh. it was a better layout to Warriors Orochi and it had some cooler stuff. But it wasn't much of an improvement and it all seemed the same in some aspects.
