I quite like the new changes around the site ;D I can understand why some are upset but I think it's only fair we give the admin a chance. You can't do everything in one night, give him a while and I'm sure everything will turn out fine. My guess is that it'll probably take a week on average for everything to be checked over and fixed so I'm willing to give him a chance. I love the artwork and change of colour, makes it look like snow  Also if you're desperate for a c-box you can borrow the one on my website that's never used *mainly because my site is next to dying  * www.whereninjasare.proboards102.com |

Guys, cbox.ws/?n=2-1447319-8234, this is the CB we were using, it hasn't exactly gone anywhere, it's just not on the site at the moment. I actually bookmarked it when Burai sent it to me when I previously lost it so that I wouldn't lose it again. So in the mean time, just open a separate tab on whatever browser you're using and leave yourself logged in like I'm doing, I don't get why everyone was getting in a snit over the cb missing, there's still aim/msn/etc to communicate through till things are completed. As for the 15 post requirement, I have to agree it probably would've killed my buzz in coming into play if I had to post 15 times before actually being about to get my creative juices flowing. Actually reminds me of something from an old counter strike clan that, to become a full member and no longer a recruit, you needed to have 50 posts in a week (we would have a lot of people join but never post on the forums, so we got tired of people just acting like they were a part of the clan) Soon after that was instated, the whole forum exploded in non sense, so hopefully the same thing doesn't happen here and people can be more sensible about their posting structure, it's only 15 posts, so I suppose it can be easily done. 1. Post an introduction of yourself on the forum. 2. Comment on other introductions people have made 3. Post a picture of yourself (or your cat and say it's you) 4. Comment on other people's portraits you seem to appreciate 5. Comment in the creativity area if they spark your interest. 6-15. Comment Comment Comment Make a fool of yourself Comment. Done? :3 |

That is a very good idea and it might get rid of the problem,but most people just want that rule to be gone soon.It''s just not fair to the people that just come here to have fun.

I suppose so... Old CB HERE --> DWRPC CB So glad I remember how to use bb code XD would've looked silly as the whole url. I'm posting this so that people know the CB is still alive, just needs people to keep posting in it until it gets put back into the website itself. |

Though I understand everyone's pain. Look at it this way, Admin said he would get V.4 up yesterday. He did, he never said anything would be running smoothly. So for everyone who assumed that it would that just sucks for you. I'm not trying to be rude, but admin said that there where some probs that he needed to get to. So for the most part I agree with Lute, Liao wei and admin. chill n relax I know we love to spend 24 hours on the cbox, but use this time wisely and look at my pictures. they can entertain you for hours. Just look at it for a different angle every so often and try not to stare too hard, might burn a hold through the screen. :x

Ok thanks for the support guys im trying to sort the layout issues and other small problems at the mo, I think I might keep the 15 post rule at the moment because to be honest on this site you can get 15 posts in about 15 minitues? I would never ever raise that up to 50 no way, 15 I think is fine. About the C Box...would it be ok if it doesnt appear on the main forum but I will provide that link that testuo provided in a easy place? Its that ok?

Thats fine with me, i much prefere it on a seperate tab anyways. It distracts me alot less from posting and it makes the site look alot more attractive.

Idk.It just A LOT easier to put it the main forum,but i dont know.I dont exactly know why putting the cbox in the main forum would be that much of a problem,but you know whatever.Im just a member.Is this a kinda majority rules site?
And about the 15 posts thing is just weird tho.I thought you were aiming for this site to just be straight up fun!15 POSTS its just unreasonable and it will just drive people away from the site.If you want this site to be more popular JUST STOP WITH ALL THE RULES!I mean a rule saying you HAVE to post at least 5-10 times a month would be acceptable.

Sun Shang Xiang. It makes little diffrence if its on the main page or not. I know i'd much rather had a c-box then no c-box.  Be happy that we have one and that we can communicate. The Admin has listened to the views of its members and has proposed an offer. I see no diffrence between it being on another site or being on main page other then making the main page look alot cleaner and inviting to new members. |

I agree with Shang Xiang. I think it'd be more of a hassle to have to constantly switch to another tab to see what people are saying. What if someone said that they posted already, and the person they're talking to doesn't even see it because they're doing stuff on another tab? I'm kind of an OCD freak, and I don't like to have excessive tabs open, I don't know why, but that's just the way I am. Also, I think the cbox looks really plain and kinda weird when it's just by itself in some other tab. Another thing is that I'm a new member and when I visited this site (when it still had the version 3 layout) I was glad to see that there was a cbox right there on the main forum, where most forum based sites have their cbox. Way more easier to access and far more convenient. That's my opinion, and I thought I should let you guys know. :] I also have no problem with the 15 post rule, I mean I don't feel like I've posted that much, and I've already gotten 14 posts. I tend to take a while when I make my profile, although I do understand that a lot of people like to get their profile done and ready to be accepted right away.

Haha, yay! I almost never get my points across the way I want to, but I'm pretty proud of that post, lol!! XD But yeah, I'm working on my profile like intensely, I only got my history done today. Tomorrow I'm gonna try to work on the rest of it.
