Kenshi felt a little bit sorry for what happened to Wei Ning's cloak but he knew that Rui couldn't help it. Rui wasn't there in the body when he has the seizures so Kenshi knew his brother couldn't be blamed. He left Rui lying on the floor to sleep the seizure off so he wouldn't be wobbling about the room instead. Kenshi stood up from the floor and returned to sitting in a chair.
"Sorry about your cloak. We'll wash it for you." Kenshi spoke before summoning one of the crew to take Wei Ning's cloak and Rui's old clothes and go wash them. "Wei Ning... does being Second in Command sound good to you? It was my position but I feel safer being the Captain's assistant instead." Kenshi spoke seeing what Wei Ning's reaction would be to the news.

Wei Ning looks towards Kenshi seriously for a moment as he let the cloak be taken away while he quickly regained his composure. "well the cloak isn't a problem it can be washed, i've seen that before though it is sometimes a sad sight to be hold." he then turned as if thinking somemore before facing Kenshi.
"Well if you really wish that to be so and if Rui wouldn't have a problem with it either. Perhaps I shall take the offer." he smirks a bit and stares at Kenshi. "So i'm curious once again my new friend. If the offer is real, what makes ya trust me so with that power? Or could it be a test to see how much you can trust me?" He chuckled as he wandered if he was over analizing the question.

Kenshi chuckled as Wei Ning asked him about trust. "Keep your allies close but your enemies closer. Soon we'll see if you are friend or foe and also about the trust between us." Kenshi replied, he knew how to talk and he knew that Rui could watch Wei Ning more closely if the man was close in rank. Kenshi was no fool when it came to decisions like that. He was the type to play things out whilst hovering a safety net above his prey.
Kenshi poured himself some water and sipped from it as he gazed upon his brother on the floor. Rui's weakness could not be helped but so far in their lives no one had dared to take advantage of Rui in such a state, though many saw such an act as dishonourable and low to attack Rui when he was down. Kenshi could only protect his brother for so long.

Wei looks from Kenshi then towards Rui and tilted his head before taking another drink softly in thought. "Well very well Kenshi, I shall accept the position, and help you and your brother. Though something tells me your brother needs alittle more aid then you. I shall endure and help wherever i can."
He lifts his glass to Ken and nods with a smirk. "Shall we toast to new beginings and friendships?" He says as he watches the man infront of himself.

Kenshi sighed and looked at Rui, the more officers the ship could get then the more eyes there were to make sure Rui didn't get into trouble. This also meant Kenshi had more time to look after his brother if the job positions were filled. He turned to Wei Ning and smiled as he held out his glass and nodded. "To new beginnings and friendship." Kenshi replied as he tapped his glass against Wei Ning's whilst being careful not to spill his drink.
Kenshi felt strangely calm about the situation, he didn't sense any danger or feel the need to be alert. He laid his glass down upon the table and looked at Wei Ning in a drowsy manner. It had been a long day so Kenshi guessed he was just tired and with Rui's seizure he hadn't had time to relax his nerves.
