After being warned by several of his officers from the North of the great increase of numbers in the Han, Zhang Jiao decides to launch a massive attack upon Luo Yang, seizing the chance of the spread out forces of the Han. Whilst they remove to attack and reclaim the smaller territories - Zhang Jiao moves to seize the capital and more importantly the Han. Once and for all. They find themselves encountering little resistance until they reach upon the outskirts of the great city.Zhang JiaoTroops: 20,000 10,000 Peasents 4000 Marauders 4000 Raider Calvary 2000 Fanatics Bearing the mainforce, Zhang Jiao now made his move. The Han was already less in numbers - this only made things easier for Jiao. The generals were away and the call to arms would only lead things into dismay. His generals laid in wait along the roads with ambushes if the Han generals were to come the roads and assist an already dying Empire. "The Han appears to be weak - nothing that we didn't know already. The heavens grant us an opening! Onward, seize the city!"Zhang Jiao says to his minions infront of him, flocks and flocks. Rows of complete Yellow equiped with simple weapons and tools. Banners spanning from left to right. The line quickly breaking, charging at the city with ladders and weapons in hand. "Legions of Heaven, descend upon them!"He Jin5,000 troops 500 Royal Guards 1500 Han Archers 1000 Han Swordsmen 1000 Han Calvary 1000 Han Crossbowmen "My lord! A large force of Yellow Turbans has been sighted just outside the city. They are preparing to attack!""Damn Jiao, That bastard! Prepare the defences, send for aid immediately!"He Jin curses, slamming his fist into the table and wiping everything completely of it. He signals to two of his men to ensure the Emperors safety before moving to the walls to see this for himself. "Theres at least twenty-thousand Mi'lord.""By god, this cannot be true. How did..? Nevermind! Man the defences, they are nothing but a scourge that must be wiped from our lands. Do not be disheartened by their numbers - we have the royal walls on our side. PREPARE FOR WAR!!"[ Zhang Liang Reinforcements - Three Turns]

[Zhang Jiao]
"Ladders up! Flood the walls men."
He shouted, they closed the gap easily. They were used to marches - They wore alot less army then the traditional armies which made them alot faster and efficient. Still spiralling around the plains as they dust kicked up. The ladders were launched upon the walls before the thick patterns of Yellow asailed the walls.
"Perfect."
Zhang Jiao announced before bowing his head, signalling for the siege captain to begin the destruction of the gates. Several battering rams appeared from out of a small wagon that had been dragged by several horses.
[He Jin]
He Jin growled, they were moving too fast to hit. The arrows seemed to scatter around and only eliminate a few of them. Flies were so hard to swat. He stroked his chin, before increasing the defence upon the walls - neglecting his gates completely.
"All men to the walls, kick back these ladders - Kill all these rats!"
He shouted, as the defense shifted. Arrows were launching, sending Turbans down the ground. Their ladders sent back to meet them at the ground. He Jin laughed - in his eyes this siege was going terribly for the Turbans.

[Zhang Jiao]
"Quickly, smash their pathetic gates! Victory for the heavens!"
Zhang Jiao shouts, sending several more men and ladders to ascend the walls inorder to distract the Han generals. The plan appeared to be going to plan and the Han fell for the bait. The battering rams were unleashed, several of them to a single gate before smashing into the unprotected and futile guarded gate, ripping into the wooden foundations.
"Excellent."
Zhang Jiao exclaimed acknowledging victory here would be victory over China. Once the Han fell so would the other feudal lords. He stroked his beard, ensuring his chances sending more and more men to die on the walls and to the overrun the enemy.
[He Jin]
"Die you fucking peasent!"
He Jin spat, ripping a man off a ladder and launching him down the depths below, before peering over and noticing the battering rams. An expression of anger cursed upon his face. How could he be so foolish. Zhang Jiao was merely using the ladders are a ploy. The bastard. He kicked the ladder down before whistling to gain the archers attention to focus upon the rams before sending his own royal guards to hold the gates.
"These cowards have nothing on us, fight on for the Han!"

(I took the liberty of making a new map. I hope it works.) 'Cry havoc! and let slip the dogs of war, that this foul deed shall smell above the earth with carrion men, groaning for burial.'Black Banners flew on the horizon as Lu Bu entered the battle. The crimson character 'Lu' emblazoned on the battle flags let all know who had arrived. It was time to turn the tide, the Flying General has arrived and all would know his power. "Charge! Give no quarter and take none alive!", Lu Bu howled over the thundering footsteps of his army. Red Hare's mane whipped in the wind as Lu Bu led his army to the south. A runner was sent to He Jin with news of Lu Bu's arrival, hopefully it would boost morale. Lu Bu's Army quickly sped around the mountains and launched a flanking attack on Zhang Jiao massive peasant horde. Fengxian and his cavalry plowed directly into the rear right flank of the Yellow Turbans while the infantry blanketed in behind them. Zhang Jiao would be preoccupied with the siege and this would allow Lu Bu's 'Black Flood' to sweep away the rebels. An order was given and the fields were set ablaze. Lu Bu would cut off the Turban's escape and reinforcements with a wall of flames. Lu Bu found a break in the chaos and trotted Red Hare to a somewhat safe position. He withdrew Pei Yuan Shao's head from a bag on Red Hare and issued a threat to the Turbans. "I am Lu Bu of Luo Yang! I have claimed Pei Yuan Shao's head and I will take the skull of anyone who stands before me! WRAAAAAAH!"With the flames at his back, Lu Bu chucked the head over his shoulder to be swallowed by the fires. He spurred Red Hare hard and entered the fray again under a pelting of rocks, arrows, and javelins. His massive armor protecting him from most items, but the javelins were something that could pierce his armor in more places. Lu Bu's reputation would be known after this battle....if he lived. Lu Bu has arrived! Lu Bu launches a flank attack against Zhang Jiao! The Fields are set on fire! Lu Bu threatens the Yellow Turbans!Lu Bu's Army400 Han Cavalry 250 Han Swordsmen 250 Han Halberdiers 200 Han Spearmen

Lu Bu did not know it, but his endeavour would not be in vain as another army rolled through the thick clouds of the dew-born evening. Gongsun Zan, a martial protector of the north and a now esteemed general beneath the Han’s mighty rule had arrived, bringing with him 1,600 men of skill, talent and honour. It seemed a small amount from the perspective of an observer, and no doubt his enemies had spies or scouts on the look-out, but Gongsun had taken the offering with praise, having learned already beneath the watchful gaze of Lu Zhi that size meant very little when faced with veterans and warriors.
He had even seen it with his own two eyes, larger armies fall and crash beneath those of superior intelligence, and he – who sat upon the white famed steed of the Xiong and who bore close to him the crescent of his spear would exploit that very fact. His enemies were numerous, yes, but they were not military trained. They had not seen the end of every battle – nor struggled to fend off the blows of beasts as their companions and friends died. They had known only a life of banditry and pillage, a life filled with riches and women, and as a result of that life-style – they were weaklings.
And they would soon be dead.
He turned back as the armies rolled across the west gate, leaving only a few sentires on guard as the cavalry took the fore of their marching formation. He was not alerted to the sight of his enemies, but he bore with him a deep regret for having arrived so late. The city looked to be in uproar, gates busted and cries of the dying echoing above the stampede of feet and hoof alike.
It would end, he reminded himself, and ordered for Gongsun Fan to lead his cavalry.
“Swing around the perimeter of the city and attack the enemy position at the south gate, their enemies will be numerous – so remember, hit and run tactics only!”
His officer complied, though the brief smile showed a hint of uncertainty as the cavalry led it’s way beyond the cities reach. He turned again, this time to his own infantry and smiled, “Let’s repel those who defy the will of heaven – and bring back an age when rebels like these stand BENEATH our glorious emperor.”
They cheered, and Gongsun Zan led his own infantry through the west gate to prepare the analysis.
**********************************************
Gongsun Fan
Gongsun Fan led the cavalry across the cities perimeter, passing foliage and following the trail of fire and smoke as it emitted from the burning crops. He could not see what was ahead, only that a large assembly of turbans had gathered by the gate, forcing their way in.
It was time.
He ordered the initial charge, and had his cavalry drive closer together in a wedge formation, then, as his lines drew closer to the enemy he picked a spot of enemies close to the open area, and had his cavalry ‘turn’ into the area, so that the charge would appear arced to allow continuous space and mobility. It was a simple tactic, a hit and run tactic – but he felt if he could apply the damage long enough his enemy’s formations would break, and that…that would be the difference between winning and losing.
************************************************************
Summary
Gongsun Zan’s forces arrive to the north-west. Gongsun Zan and Gongsun Li Ling enter the city via the west gate with the infantry. They have thus far avoided combat. Gongsun Fan has led the cavalry around the city, and have begun a series of ‘harrass’ techniques to keep the enemy busy whilst slicing away the ranks at a steady pace.
Lu Bu and Gongsun Fan thus create a sort of pincer, yet more units will be needed to have a greater area effect!
