Kaihime admired the cozy room she had entered. Looking around she saw many unusual items among the more mundane sitting on the shelves that surrounded the rooms walls, and a large table placed in the middle of the room. Kenshi motioned her to said table, once she sat she suddenly felt so relieved as her legs relaxed once more. Still feeling slightly odd however as the ship moved with the sea she couldn't forget that she was on a ship despite the homestyle setting of the room.
Rui asked her if she would like something to eat or drink, before she could speak Kenshin had asked for some fruit. "umm yeah thanks." Kaihime looked around the room once more before speaking "this isn't like i pictured a ship, it's....home-y."

Rui filled a bowl with random pieces of fruit before placing it down on the table so everyone could help themselves. He then put down glasses of water and a plate of biscuits. "Well when you're stuck out at sea for months, even years, it pays to have a place to find comfort in." Rui spoke as he sat opposite from Kenshi and Kaihime.
"If you wish stay on the ship I will give you your own room, it's mainly for your own safety since you know how men can be. I don't want to risk you being harmed in any way. Though when on land you are free to live in the palace." Rui spoke as he sipped his water.
Kenshi took at apple and gently wiped it with a cloth before he started eating it. Kenshi was just glad to finally eat something since he hadn't eaten since the early hours of the morning.

Kaihime was slightly unnerved by the thought of being upon a ship for years at a tie but hid it well.

Kaihime smiled, "thanks, but don't worry about me too much. i can take care of myself" Kaihime smiled as she took a sip from her glass of water.

Rui blushed a little and he looked down into his drink to calm himself down. "I just don't want you getting hurt, I could never forgive myself if something bad happened to you upon this ship." Rui spoke in a tender voice as he drank his water and ate a few pieces of small fruit. He then looked at Kaihime again once his blush had cooled down a little.
"How are you fairing now with the rocking?" Kenshi asked to make sure Kaihime was going to be okay. If she wasn't get used to it then maybe it would be wiser to leave her with the land base Hui Ji, it needed a leader whilst Rui was out and about in other lands.

Kaihime looked up from her glass of water pondering Rui's statement. God help the man that try anything on her. Kenshi asked her if she was getting used to the rocking yet. She thought on it as she felt the waves moving the ship. "yeah it's not too bad. I don't feel sick or anything just have to get used to walking" One thing had been Kaihime's mind the whole time "so what have you got planned for next?"

Rui chuckled a little. "The more you walk around the ship then the less you notice the movement. Though once you get used to the sea then you have to re-train yourself to walk on land. In the end it's all fun to do." Rui spoke before hearing Kaihime ask about what the pirates were going to do next. Rui's gaze darkened and he took on a serious expression. "The Yellow Turban rebellion is coming to an end so it's a little late to join in now, but the new threat is from Dong Zhou. I aim to put a stop to his lustful greed that is wounding China. Also the chaos caused by his officer Lu Bu only delivers a greater cause of concern. We will take them down and try to protect the future of this country. The safety of everyone is at risk so I aim to act as that barrier to protect the innocent."

Kaihime listened to Rui intently as he spoke of Dong Zhuo. She didn't know what to say so instead she simply nodded and looked into Rui's eyes with conviction and dedication in her eyes. "let's do it" She smiled showing them that she was not intimidated by the importance of the situation. Kaihime was looking forward to kicking some yellow turban butt however since that threat was almost over she would settle for kicking Dong Zhuo's.

Kenshi finished his apple and disposed of the core in a napkin so he could throw it into the countryside for wild animals to eat. He was thankful that Kaihime showed interest in helping quell the Dong Zhou uprising, he knew it would help make the people happy once the man was removed from power.
"I'm still curious about who will rival the Han next... the empire is showing signs of cracking already ever since the Yellow Turban rebellion started. I bet the larger kingdoms will make their moves after this crisis is dealt with." Kenshi spoke, he had a good eye when it came to noticing future problems and errors. The main fear would be the day that the neighbouring kingdoms turn upon the pirates of Hui Ji. The pirate army was still small so the chances of equalling the numbers of their rivals were next to impossible. It worried the Takiri brothers.

Kenshi's words came with a flash of concern upon his face. Kaihime could tell that the larger man was concerned about the safety of the pirate forces in this unstable world. She knew that the pirate forces was not large when compared to the others in China.
"Do you truly believe that anyone would turn against us? would we not make a more valuable ally then foe?"

Rui sighed after listening to the suggestions from both Kenshi and Kaihime. "I'm afraid we have no true allies at the moment and none of the other kingdoms have taken much interest in us. Though from seeing Lu Bu's reaction towards us it would be better to assume we would be a targeted and attacked. This is a good place for trade and it has a strong naval base. The money we gain here would only make the desires to attack us only greater."

"well if that is the case then we will have to show everyone that we aren't to be messed with. The upcoming battle is a good place to start" Kaihime finished her cup of water and placed the glass on the table, reaching for a grape from the plate of fruit.

Rui nodded, the battle with Dong Zhou would be a good place to show off their talent and scare off the competition. "I think you're right, but we need to make sure we become strong in order to do this. We'll need to get all the pirates together and unleash our full potential. Together we can certainly show off our power and prove that we aren't weak. The bonus would be if we could defeat Lu Bu or Dong Zhou, then we may gain a little respect." Rui seemed raring to go now, he was full of life and brimming with confidence.

kaihime watched as the pirate leader seemed to spring to life before her.

Rui's excitement was beginning to rub off on Kaihime as she too felt herself becoming eager for battle.

Rui grinned and tried to think about who else worked for him. He hadn't seen his right hand man Wei Ning for quite some time and feared the idea that the man may have left but there was still Asa Khan. So it would be Kaihime, Rui, Kenshi and Asa Khan joining the battle. The four big pirates who only wanted to live life to the full.
"I'll track down Asa Khan and we'll kick some butt. Let's show the world that pirates are strong and not to be under-estimated." Rui stroked his chin and gazed at Kaihime, his heart thundered within his chest as he looked at her. She was so beautiful and had given the pirates hope... women were just as important as men and were always needed since they gave strength.
