Seeking A Lord

[Zhang Smith]

Smith still on one knee, raised his head, and looked Sun Jian in the eyes before he spoke. "Well My Lord, right now I feel the land is being terrorized by these turbans, or peasents. The other lords, from what I've learned Lord Liu Bei is close to the people, very gental however thats all he is. Lord Cao Cao has strong ambitions however I've learned he has little care for the people. You my lord I see a balance of things, I sence the strong ambitions and power within you, but I also sence the gental side. You are a true Lord" Smith would wait to see how he reacted to these words

Sun Jian smiled as he heard his words, "Then what do you suggest our course of action should be in this time of chaos?", he asked as he scanned the individual and noticed that Han Dang and Yelena have kept quiet.

[Zhang Smith]

Zhang Smith listened to Sun Jians question, He stood still looking Sun Jian in the eye. "Firstly to start to rid this land of chaos, the yellow turbans need to be eliminated. After then can we true focus our attention ahead at the bigger picture. We should try and expand and gain more influence. In my travels, I've seen a lot of poorly defended land, and believe expanding can be easy, and the payoff will be great" Zhang Smith knew what he was talking about. The more land Sun Jian has, the more income he can earn, and the happy the people can be.

She listened to the conversation, biting her tongue to say a few words. she was in the presence of her father now and had to be careful. if she liked it or not, Yelena was a female. Zhang was flattering her father's ego. It made her want to gag. She coughed, hiding a laugh about that.

"Don't mean to interrupt," she said, flashing a smile to Zhang, "but you want to rid the land of chaos. Warriors do that." She raised one eyebrow, carefully. "You call yourself an immortal. How about, you prove it? Being a part of the Wu Army is first and foremost, protecting the people. You, no offense, have a title, you call yourself by. But maybe you should do something... more than words."

[Zhang Smith]

Listening what Yelena was saying, a smile came on Zhangs face has she finished. Hmm More than words he thought to himself. Zhang knew he received the title the immortal when he was younger of course none of them would understand they had the right to question his nickname, after all Zhang was a complete stranger to all of them. Smith looked at the princess."I understand what you are feeling, a stranger coming in your city with the nickname "The Immortal" gets you thinking how big warriors egos have gotten. However if you want me to prove myself, say the word and I'll shall do anything to prove myself. Maybe then you can understand why I am called the Immortal."

"Well, if you really are immortal as you claim to be, I'd say you go out there right now and conquer all of China for us with a single unit of support. We won't lose any men, and the land will be ours. Hmm? After all, you won't be killed if you truly are immortal... hehe." Han Dang grinned to one side as he said this, casual yet partially a challenging statement as well. If Smith really was immortal, he would have no problem doing that.

[Zhang Smith]

Smith looked at Han Dang, and smiled. "I've very well would attempt that however I wouldn't want to show you up now would I. Smith let out a laugh, and begun to speak again. "Jokes aside, "The Immortal" is a nickname, to get people to think is he truly immortal. People then come looking for me to test out my nickname. I for one do not know if I am immortal." Smith looked down at the ground. He knew why he has the nickname, the past just popped into his mind horrifying images that he would never forget.

Sun Jian smiled and laughed as Yelena and Han Dang question him on his strength. He had fought with some of his officers, maybe it was time to see what his new recruits are made of, "As you've just mentioned, you don't know you are immortal yet enemies will come to test you out, and as a warrior among my ranks, I suggest that you always be on your guard when you leave the safety of the tiger's den", he paused, "My daughter is right...to really test how good you are, how about you prove yourself on a quest. Not only to me, but also the rest of my officers". He glanced to Yelena and smiled, before waiting for Zhang's reply.

[Zhang Smith]

Smith smiled at Sun Jians responce. "I will prove my self Lord Sun Jian, I promise not to dissappoint you. Thank you for giving me this oppurtunity. " Smith knew that this quest he would do would decided his fate, it would determine if he was good enough to serve under lord Sun Jian.

[Sun Jian]

A grin appeared on his face, "You seem sincere which is a good sign to see", to encourage the warrior as he could tell how he felt having his officers question him, which was why Sun Jian gave him the task, "I look forward for your returning and informing me of your success".

[Zhang Smith]

Zhang Smith bowed at Sun Jian. "Thank You Lord Sun Jian I will not dissappoint you." Smith then bowed at both Han Dang and Yelena "Sir Dang and Ms Yelena is was a pleasure meeting you and I hope we can have a strong friendship in the future" Smith then walked towards his horse getting prepared to head out on a quest.
