Finally after what seemed forever Kaihime could see signs of civilisation ahead of her. Her ailing legs were aching along with the rest of her body as she pushed on. The pain in her side had lessened over time and the bleeding had eased. Now it like the rest of her body was slowly becoming numb . probably not a good sign she thought to herself. As she looked around at the scenery that surrounded her, her mind drew a blank. Had she been here before? She approached the large gates only to be met with the harsh gaze of guards and archers. "halt, identify yourself!"

Clearly this was not where she came from, "ahhh Kaihime, Kaihime Minori" The guards seemed to pick up on her lack of confidence in her answer. "state your business here" isnt it obvious "i came seeking aid" The guards looked to one another. are these guys ever going to let me in or am i going to die out here

Zhang Liao was walking from behind her, Who is this, I said to myself, I walk by with my horse, excuse me ma'am what seems to be the problem with the guards, I asked as I put my blades away

Kaihime turned and faced the man who spoke. "ahh i dont think im from here" She replied "i dont think they can let me in"

Its ok, just follow my lead, maybe you can find some help in the city and find your way home, I walk up to the gate, Hey guards, Can you let us enter.

Whats your bushiness here, the guards ask.

I am here to to meet my family, I reply hoping that they'll believe that.

Fine you my enter, the guards open the gate.

If you want some food and directions this is your chance to get in

"ahhhh thanks" Went to follow after the man through the gates but was stopped by a guard. "hold it, why are you injured?" Kaihime thought hard but still not answer came to her. "i don't know" "yeah right, you expect us to believe that" a second guard shimed into the conversation "you think she's one of those bandits?" Kaihime would have argued stating that there was no way she was a bandit, but right now she didnt know what she was. Am i a bandit? "if you're not a bandit then why are you injured?" "oh, i dont know ever thought i was attacked by a bandit?" the guards looked to one another and then allowed her into the city. She felt guilty for lying but it had to be done.

As she took in the sounds of the bustling city and the sights before her, Kaihime began to feel ovewhelmed by the unfamiliarity of it all.

I stop and turn around, Excuse me guards but this is my friend me and her just came from Ye to visit family and she got roughed up when our first horse went crazy, she got bunked on the head and she is having trouble remembering who she is, I was gonna take her to the town doctor and get food before we visit our family.

ok thats fine just make sure she doesn't get into trouble, they walk away.
ok I want you to stay at my side for awhile so that they will leave you alone. does that sound good?

kaihime looked at the man, "why are you doing this? do i know you?" kaihime didn't understand why someone would be acting this way towards her. Especially someone that looked the way this man did.

No you don't know me, I just can't allow someone that looks like they've been through Hell and back out there by themselves and it looked like you are lost so it is my duty to help in away, i said and got a bottle of water for her, Drink this it'll help

Kaihime felt uneasy trusting someone so quickly. "thanks" Kaihime held onto the bottle of water. "why are you here.....really? and where is here?"

I am here to find directions to Jiang Dong, but I thought why not take a little detour and this is Nan Pi in Hebei, I said and got my own bottle, if you want you can come with me its kinda boring when you have to talk to your horse for at least 3 days before getting to another town

"no' Without another word Kaihime began to walk off into the crowded street. She wasn't exactly sure why she answered the way she did, after all the man was trying to be nice. Or was he? Kaihime couldn't trust anyone right now, She had to focus on what she knew. She was on a battlefield, she had weapons and she could feel that she knew how to use them. So she was a warrior. As for her allegiance or lord she didn't know.

oh well thats what i get for helping out, I said and went to the nearest restaurant to get some food, as i was eating I had a weird flashback, Was it her that I saw a few weeks ago??? I pondered on my own question, there was a possibility it was but it was weeks ago that it happened, no it wasn't her, I said as I went back to my meal, Its just a shame that i didn't give her some money so she can get food.

kaihime wandered around the city for awhile taking in the sights and smells of her surroundings. She was getting a few stares from townspeople but nothing too out of the ordinary. Her side began to ache once more, sitting down on a chair outside a building she could hear a conversation. "yeah well we have the bandits to worry about now" "took out another caravan in the mountains yesterday" "if this keeps up we wont have enough supplies for the town"

Zhang Liao finished his meal and payed for it, he went outside got his horse and he went around lookings around seeing the sights and he just hppened to see that woman again, he walks up to her and takes out a bag of coins, Here take these it'll help you out when you need something, I was about to walk away till I heard someone talking about the bandits and stopped to listen

Kaihime satred at the bag of coins that she held, why on earth? "hey do you think im some sort of street beggar or something?" The guards inside the building continued their conversation. "screw the bandits man, have you heard of the battle going on in a town not far from here?!" "what battle?" "apparently the yellow turbans are laying seige to a town and Yuan Shao isn't lifting a finger to help out the warriors there fighting to save it"
