Exploring Wu

[Nohime]

Nohime thought for a second before nodding in agreement. She followed him away from the stables and to the marketplace. There were many interesting little trinkets in the little shops. She even spotted a few dresses that she would probably purchase in the near future. She then looked back at Zhang Liao. "So, what do you plan to do while you are here?" she asked, not meaning anything in particular.

[Zhang Liao]

I was walking around looking at the clothes and some sake, it was when he was looking at some clothes when he heard her question, Well for starters I wanted to get away from all the drama in the north, but I wanted to see the land, which I have almost done, I just need to visit Cheng Du to the west and I'll be done, I said as I walked away from the clothes, So y did you leave your lands?, I asked hoping it wouldn't be to personal

[Nohime]

"Really?" Nohime replied. "Well, I hope you can find your place in this country." She then took in for a moment what he had asked her. It was a bit personal to her, but she didn't mind telling people what a terrible husband she had. "Well, there was a rebellion in my former lord's lands. Luckily, I am friends with the leader of the rebellion, so he had me escorted here to keep me safe."

well that was kind of him, I said as I was come to a blacksmith, I asked him to work on my halberds a little, to make lighter but still good enough to kill someone, I am kind of interested in this land now, it had a rebellion the same time we ave one, thats sort of weird and funny at the same time don't you think?

[Nohime]

"I suppose it is a little odd," Nohime replied, not really seeing what was funny about a rebellion. Those times can be very scary, particularly when the rebellion is led by someone who was particularly trusted within the ranks. "There isn't much to say about my home country. It's in tatters at this point. I can only say that I hope they can unite soon, but I still have no intention of returning. I prefer here as opposed to there."

[Zhang Liao]

I turned to her and said, well our homeland is gonna be in tatters soon, cause that Yellow Turban Rebellion we had, its only going to inspire others, which mean that the court is gonna be more corrupt now and people seeking to gain more power, I said not trying to get her afraid or anything, but judging by looks there is no way she well be scared that easily. Which is why I decide I am not need here in Wu, Wu is a nice and wealthy territory that is far away from that corruption, so I have decide to join someone who might stop it completely or only for a little while

Nohime looked up at him. He wasn't going to join? Why was he here then? Suddenly a fear developed inside her, though she wasn't going to vocalize it. Could it be possible that he was simply getting the lay of the land before he joined up with some other troops to crush Wu? Surely not! Who would do such a thing? This man seemed nice enough that he wouldn't do it, but who knows? She simply smiled to herself as he spoke. "Wu is a very nice place. I'm sure these forces are powerful enough to quell the fighting, at least for a while."

He could see the surprise look on her face, Yes they are but in this case one might classify it as another rebellion, Wu is well beyond that point and if it stays out it'll be prosperous, but if it doesn't it'll be tough on people. I said as the blacksmith handed me my halberds, Also I have family near all of this chaos that is bond to be unfolded soon, so I am also going back up there so they can be safe. I said as my stomach started to growl, well I must be hungry, wanna go grab something to eat?

[Nohime]

Nohime thought for a moment. "I hope that Wu will stay prosperous. It looks to me like I just might join soon. Also, I wish you the best of luck with your family." She then paused for a second when he suggested that they grab something to eat. "Well, there is that banquet that Sun Jian is hosting. Shall we just go there now?" She suggested.

[Zhang Liao]

I stopped to think of this but was it wise for someone who was about to leave join a banquet of the person he was leaving, I honestly don't no, cause I haven't told Sun Jian that I am leaving bit is it wise for me to go to the banquet, that is another tough question that I still have no answer for, I said as I continued to think

[Nohime]

Nohime considered his predicament. "Well, you could always discuss it with Lord Sun Jian before you depart. I'm sure he would understand, particularly with your family being near the dangers of the bandits and other rebellious forces out there. I've heard that Sun Jian is kind, so I am positive that he wouldn't hold it against you."

[Zhang Liao]

I thought about that, Yes I know sun jian is kind and everything but i don't know how he will take someone who was about to join go and join another force, its just unpredictable at this point so I think I will play it safe, but how can I leave I already released my horse cause it was old and about to move on, so I suppose I should go to him and tell him about it, maybe he will give me that white horse from earlier

[Nohime]

Nohime smiled and nodded. "That would be a good idea and who knows? Perhaps he would. After all, if you had the honesty and the guts to come up to Sun Jian and tell him the truth, he might find it admirable, wouldn't you agree?" She was a bit worried though, Sun Jian could be kind, but like many other rulers, he could have a cruel streak. Only time will tell.

I thought hard about it and i came to a conclusion, ok I'll tell him personally but if I die I will blame you for it, I said as I got my money out and paid the blacksmith really quick.

Nohime couldn't help but shake her head in disappointment at his response. "Men...such fragile creatures..." She didn't like the idea of being blamed for such a thing. After all, it wasn't her idea that he decide to abandon Wu. She didn't see her responsibility in all this, after all, she was only suggesting he do that, not demanding.
