A Quick Detour

He could tell that she tensed up when he sped up, so he decided to slow down alittle. We made our we back to the stables after a ride around the city, he got off first and he offered to help her off

Normally Kaihime would have immediately refused the offer of help but in this case she really had no idea how to get down without faceplanting. "i suppose i should accept your aid this time, rather than faceplanting" Kaihime joked.

I smirk alittle and help her off,So what do you think of this horse, I asked putting the horse back in the stable

Kaihime had began to watch a group of soldiers that had passed by while Zhang Liao was putting the horse back in the stable. She was too deep in thought to have heard Zhang Liao's question.

Zhang Liao came back, and saw that she was staring at some soldiers, Do you know any of them?, I asked her

Kaihime snapped back to reality and turned to face zhang Liao once more "no, no i don't any of them" or i don't now In truth Kaihime had began thinking of her past, she must have been a warrior that much was obvious to her. But whom did she serve?, where did her allegiance lay?, to whom was she close and whom did she hate? and whom did she love? if indeed she loved at all. Perhaps it was time for Kaihime to seek a new lord..

Kaihime stood quiet for a moment thinking upon her answer. what is bothering me? "i am beginning to believe it is time for me to seek a new lord" Kaihime wasn't sure why she was telling Zhang Liao this, it wasn't exactly like she figured it would help. But what did she have to lose? "I do not remember where my allegiance lied before, but i do know that i feel the urge to get back into a force and fight"

I thought hard about what she said. A women fighting, that was something he has never heard of, There are some good Lords in the Land, why not meet my lord first since he is the closest?, I propose to her, knowing that she might refuse

"hmmm, i have heard of your new lord Lu Bu. He doesn't seem like the type i would see myself serving. Perhaps i should simply continue traveling and seeking out a lord?" Kaihime had thought about it for rather a long time. "of course i mean no disrespect to you for serving Lu Bu, i simply see myself heading in another direction"

Liao heard what she said about Lu Bu and she was somewhat right, but there was something about him that Liao saw in him that he didn't see in anyone else, he looks at Kaihime, well who ever you find, he will be glad to have you in his force, even if you don't remember who you are, I teasedas I was thinking about my past

"I sense a story behind those words Zhang Liao" Kaihime teased back. "what prytell has you reminiscing?" Kaihime stood watching out over the pond that the stables were near and that several different species of wildlife were visiting.

Liao didn't won't to tell, will i don't want to tell my life has had tragedy in, but then again whose life doesn't have tragedy in it, I said as I watched the animals in a pond

"hmm i see, yes well that is true. In these times tragedy is a normal occurence, unfortunately" Kaihime began to wonder if maybe her loss of memory was a good thing, she didnt have to remember any of her past tragedies or suffering. "so where will you go after we part ways once more this time Zhang Liao? Back to serve your new lord Lu Bu?"

He thought long and hard about it, you know what, I am gonna visit my mother and sister, so I can bring them with me to be safe, I said, Zhang Liao loved his mother. She basicly raised him by herself cause his father was away, it was all he had left, You know Kaihime I wanted you to go with me, but I see that your heart lays in the south, I just hope we will meet again, but hopefully not at the tips of our blades, I said as I looked at my halberds
