The End of Gan Ning - The Menace of the Sea (Noh)

[Nohime]

Nohime was a bit surprised that he had been to her home country before. After all, some of the officers that she had mentioned her country to had said that it was difficult for people to get there and so they almost never did. Soon after asking her last question, she became a bit worried. She was afraid that bringing up his past would make him sad again. Luckily, he didn't seem to bent out of shape about talking about it. "It sounds like it is a lot of fun," she said, keeping it in the present tense rather than the past. "A good place to learn how to bond with friends and family."

Slowly, Nohime disrobed herself of her current dress. Soon, she was wearing absolutely nothing behind the screen, but she wasn't planning on showing him her body just yet. She bent over and opened up the clothing bag and pulled out a new dress. Slowly she put it on then walked out of the screen and made her way back to the bed. This dress was much shorter, being cut off about halfway down her thighs. The upper part of the dress was off the shoulders. She had a feeling that Gan Ning would like this dress on her. She then sat on edge of the bed and looked up at the pirate. "Tell me about some of your exploits. Not the ones that involve raping, though, if you don't mind." She giggled at her last sentence. She was sure that he wouldn't have been involved in such a lowly practice, but it was possible. She just didn't want to make it seem like she didn't trust him.

[Kang Ren]

Gan Ning smiled, "Fun and dangerous, taking down merchant ships is gre--" He stopped mid sentence as he saw her take off her robes. He felt a stir of lust inside him, and he wanted to rip down that screen. Her body's shadow off the candle light gave her a mysterious glow and as the robes fell he bit his lip.

Her curves... Her body... Gan Ning felt him get harder. He shook his head, thinking, it's not going to happen. But as she bent over his mind raced with all the dirty thoughts he could think of. As she came out behind the screen his eyes almost popped out of his head. The dress. So revealing. Does she sleep in that or am I just lucky? Gan Ning had to shook his head and began, "Rape? Why would I rape someone? If your a pirate, many girls fall heads over heels for you." This was infact a lie. He actually hadn't been with a woman in some time. "Well..." He sat down on the bed as well, but not too close, "About a month ago, we were low on food and supplies. We were in the ocean, on our way back from a city in the north. No one was chasing us but we couldn't just stop in the harbors along the coast."

"Out over the horizon we saw a ship. So we waited for it to get near. We lowered our flag and replaced it with a banner of the Han. They drew near and turns out they were a merchant vessel and they asked for escort. We followed them for a while and then we struck." Gan Ning said putting an emphasis on the word struck. He smiled and said no more, trying to see if she can coax any more interest out of Nohime.

[Nohime]

Nohime couldn't help but smirk at his comment about her not wanting to hear about rape. If this were true, then she must simply be yet another victim to this pirate's charms. She noticed that Gan Ning didn't sit down close to her. A minor setback. As he began to tell his story, Nohime listened closely, but also began to scoot closer and closer to him. The story intrigued her. She wanted to know more and more as he continued to speak and before she knew it, he ended his story with an emphasized 'struck'.

She looked at him expectantly. "Well? What did you do when you 'struck'?" she asked. She wanted to know every detail that she could get from him.

[Kang Ren]

Gan Ning noticed as she scooted closer to him and smiled, "Well, our men jumped out and attacked, the ship. We took their guards by surprise. They fought back hard, and one of their guards was an excellent swordsman. I fought him."

Gan Ning took a deep breath, "It was heated. We were equally skilled at our weapons. He had a longsword, I had my scimitar. His weapon was more powerful than mine and I was wearing little armor. When it seemed I would have lost I dove between his legs slashing upwards." Gan Ning laughed, "He lost his man hood and he crumbled."

Gan Ning sighed happily and then looked at Nohime. The color and the tenderness of her lips. The voluptuous curves on her body taunting him. Her beautiful eyes staring into him. His was heart beating faster. Her beautiful face. His thoughts jumbled. He couldn't take it. He pushed her on the bed and kissed her sensually.

[Kang Ren]

----- After a few hours -----

He felt her withdrawal from him and in pained him. He sat next to her and said, "I guess this is where we part ways huh? Any place you specifically going?" He tried once more to act happy, "I guess I'm going to search for a lord soon... Better than mopping around and thinking about memories." He said laughing. It was a hollow laugh. Nohime. The name in his mind was a sweet moment of happiness. She alone brought him happiness when he didn't think was possible.

"I was thinking I would get revenge on the bastard who took everything away from me." Gan Ning sighed. Another end of a chapter in his life. A great moment. He would remember her for a long time. Possibly til the day he died. His mood grew depressed again but this time he tried to hide it.

He stood up and got his pants on. His shirt was still soaked and he laid down on the bed with his leg sticking off the bed. He said softly, "Thanks." It wasn't much. But with that word, Gan Ning poured every single one of his emotions for her into that word.

[Nohime]

Nohime looked up at him. Gan Ning seemed far less than happy. His laughs were hollow and he didn't seem to want to part with her. He then spoke of joining a lord soon and tracking down the person who destroyed his crew. He had gotten dressed and thanked her and laid down on the bed. She looked to him, then to the floor, then back to him. Slowly she stood up and sat on the bed next to him. She looked as deeply into his eyes as humanly possible. She felt guilty for how she had behaved after their time of passion.

"You know..." she began quietly. "I plan to join the kingdom of Wu...I'd...be happy if you could...you know...come with me." It pained her to do so. It's not that she didn't want him to be with her. It was just...she didn't want to get hurt like that again.

Oh, what is wrong with me?! she scolded herself. Take a chance, girl. If it turns out to bite you in the ass again, just move on!

With that, she took a big risk indeed. She leaned down and kissed Gan Ning softly. She then pulled away for a second. "Please, join Wu with me," she pleaded. "I want you to be there with me."

[Kang Ren]

Gan Ning smiled a little when she looked at him deeply. When she spoke of joining Wu and him joining her, he said nothing. He was right, there was something there. A spark maybe? But there definitely was something. But... When he thought of revenge... it prevailed in his mind. He smiled and kissed her back and said, "I would love too. However... there is something... I must do." Gan Ning said with a heavy heart. He sat up and kissed her gently, "I wish to spend the night here with you. However... in the morning I must be gone. I have one last thing before I can begin a new life."

[Nohime]

Nohime looked a little down. She felt like she had been rejected...and it stung. However, it did sound like there was a possibility he would join the kingdom. Suddenly, she had another idea. She looked to him again. "What if...I were to help you?" she asked. She had a feeling that he would probably doubt her skills. After all, he hadn't seen her fight before. Just to clarify that she was serious, she quickly got up and ran behind the screen. She rummaged through the sleeves of her dress and pulled out her large hand claws. She attached them to her forearms, put them in their stasis position, and then walked out from behind the screen.

"As you can see, I'm fairly well-equipped for just about any situation," she said with a dangerous smirk. With that, he quickly and forcefully thrusted out her arms, extending the large claws completely. She smiled again. "What do you think?"

[Kang Ren]

Gan Ning smiled. He didn't think she was helpless. She traveled alone, and a beautiful girl traveling alone was either an idiot or a deadly adversary. Gan Ning smiled and shook his head, "I wish you not to get involved... however... You could travel with me if you must. He is an corporal in the Han army, that is why I wish to not help. I do not want to drag you down with me."

Gan Ning smiled as she showed him her claws, Nohime seemed to genuinely want to be with him. This rose his spirits. He kissed her gently caressing her face, "You are a beautiful deadly flower. I would love to stand beside you in Wu." He took her in his arms and held her, kissing her softly once more. "You can come with me..."

[Nohime]

Nohime thought for a moment. She didn't realize it until just at that moment, but there was a flaw in her joining up with him. If she were to be discovered by the Han, Wu would undoubtedly get in trouble. It would look like the kingdom was trying to take over the Han and would therefor create much distrust. She looked sad again, but looked back up at him with a smile after he kissed her. "I am not a flower..." she replied, still smiling. "...I am a beautiful, deadly viper...The Venom Queen."

She reached up to his face and stroked his face. "Gan Ning...I'm not so sure I can go with you..." she continued quietly. "...However, I want you to know that when you come back...I will be waiting for you. For now, though...let's try and relax...I'd like to hear more about you." She laughed a bit at what she said. They did need to know a bit more about each other. With that, she slowly walked back to the bed, tossed off her claws, and lied down, waiting for him to join her.

[Kang Ren]

Gan Ning sighed with relief. But he would kill the man who took everything away from him. He smiled anyway and laughed, "A viper you say?" He walked over and sat down by her, "A viper? Oh, then inject me with your venom." He said he caressed her arm gently.

"About me? I grew up in Lin Jiang. I was a civil official before I became the captain of Chi Lang. It was a nice life. Good pay. But... I wanted excitement ya know." He said with his eyes staring off, "I loved those days. Being a small time pirate was great. You weren't big enough to have the Han chasing after you but you were just big enough to take out some good sized vessels." He wrapped his arms around her. Nothing gave away what he had to do. He was going to leave in the morning. Without her. His heart ached but it ached more of vengeance. He would kill that man.

"Is there anything else you wanna know, my beautiful Nohime?" Gan Ning asked kissing her neck softly.

[Nohime]

Nohime giggled at the venom comment. She then listened to his little story. It intrigued her quite well, making her want to hear more and more until he finally finished. Gan Ning then wrapped his arms around her and began kissing her neck, causing her to moan and sigh a bit. She thought for a moment about what she wanted to hear about next. An idea hit her, and it was mainly to simply make him slightly uncomfortable and to tease him.

"Well, tell me about some of the other women in your life," she joked with a smile. After a second or two, she continued with "I'm just kidding. I'm not going to make you divulge that to me. What's past is past. Is there...anything you'd like to know about your Sweet Poison?" She was, of course, referring to herself. She had a variety of nicknames that she hoped would one day flow through China one day, such as: Sweet Poison, Venom Queen, Serpent Goddess, Deadly Beauty, and Demoness. She was sure they were more, but probably none as flattering as those.

[Kang Ren]

Gan Ning shook his head, "Other women? Nothing to say there. You on the other hand my sweet viper are a different story." He kissed her softly again. His heart filled with joy, but the darkness still filled it.

"Tell me of your past. Anything. I want to know about my Sweet Poison." He kissed her softly but then a thought did cross his mind, "What about back in Japan? Why did you come over to China?"

[Nohime]

Nohime paused for a moment before she began to talk about the whole ordeal. "Well, first of all, when I was living in Japan, I became the unwilling wife of a cruel warlord. He didn't care about me or his subjects. He treated everyone like they were pawns in his own little game. Finally, a good friend of mine decided that he could no longer take this ridiculous attitude and rebelled. He informed me of his plans before he struck and had me escorted out of Japan to keep me safe."

She then paused for another moment to reflect on how grateful she was to that man. She then looked up at Gan Ning and smiled. "So, tell me some other things about yourself, like preferences of seasons, what personalities you like or don't like, and other things. I'd really like to know just to see what I've gotten myself into." The last sentence was again a joke, but she was curious. What exactly made this pirate tick?

[Kang Ren]

Gan Ning was shocked to hear that she was married before. However, his heart calmed a little when she spoke of him. He had no idea she was abused. Maybe thats why she liked it when he was so caring and sensual with her. He kissed her softly, "I'm glad you're here now."

"Me? I like the simple things. Money, wine, a good woman. I like the small things in life. A woman's smiled, the flowers on the grass, the way the waves move when its calm. The smell of the ocean. The twinkle in your eye. The smell after it rains." Gan Ning began. He smiled slightly and looked up, "I like people who are empowered and speak their mind, as long as you don't diss me. I hate people who drink my wine."

"In women... I like a woman who can definitely handle himself. A natural beauty. One who can hold her self with grace and dignity." Gan Ning said.
