Asa had not expected Kenshi to attack him, though due to the time and effort taken to swing the heavy oar, Asa easily managed to step back and avoid the blow entirely, with the second attack missing entirely. Perhaps the others were too attatched to Kouji to let go of him, though a true friend would not betray another under any circumstance. Then again, all of those who consorted with Rui were strange, so it was possible that they considered that acceptable within the bonds of friendship.

"Come now, perhaps an explanation rather than an assault would fare better."

"Rui would be dead by now if Kouji hadn't given himself up to the man who had defiled his body! Kouji hates Lu Bu but clearly he cared more for his master so show some respect you whelp!" Kenshi roared in a deep voice as he decided it was time to pass by. "Just make sure you are on that battlefield, prove you are worth our effort." Kenshi growled as he continued along the street in hope of finding Rui somewhere.

Rui was unfortunately a fast runner and tracking where he goes was difficult since he never usually went anywhere he'd normally go to. It would take Kenshi quite some time to actually find the Pirate King.
