Thank you, Xiang Yu. and as for Lu Xiang, I do agree with some of your points - But overall America needs to stop being so hypocritical. ' By the way Xiang Yu, I liked your rant.

We talked about this in Sociology today. We actually had a debate on it. There was some guy in America who he bombed some court building and they want to build a Christian church where it is and he was a Christian. It never was a big deal which is maybe why this ticked me off a little bit. People didn't make a big deal about that so why do they have any legit reason to complain about this? It's called accepting peoples differences and sucking it up ;D. Yes what happened there was terrible but you can't just get up tight about it. The way I look at it, just let them do what they want to do and stop complaining, life is to short to sit around and whine like a five year old. Growing up is a part of life, if you can't suck up your petty, childish problems for a few minutes then you should probably go back to elementry school.

I actually blogged about this, and my title was identical to yours. rather than typing my entire opinion i would like to link to my blog over the topic. Let me also put just one minor quote that just shows that weither their intentions are pure, or sadistic, they have every right to do it. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances" First Amendment- Bill of Rights www.debatepolitics.com/war-terror/79539-mosque-manhattan.html

I don't see why they would not be able to put a Mosque there. I agree with Holly, "If people can't suck up there petty, childish problems then they should go back to elementary." You can't hold a grudge with them FOREVER, and anyways, we need to embrace people's differences. If we don't, then we are not the "Melting Pot" we are claimed to be.(Even though I personally believe we are actually a Salad Bar, where you select CERTAIN things you like and make something out of it.)
Anyways, just get over it and let them build it!

I entirely agree with Sun Ce. The Bill of Rights states the exact thing people are going against; And it is the First Amendment no less.
(By the way, I apologize for saying Islamist, instead of Islamic. I apparently got it mixed up with the political Islamics or whatever)
