Hello everyone, I'm back from Japan! I missed you guys so much! Hehe it feels kind of weird being back in America because of the different time zones. I went to sleep in the morning and when I came to America it was still morning! lol Well I wanted to tell everyone about my adventure in Kyoto. My father sent to get me from America and man, what a long trip that was. Well anyway my father owns a Ryokan (Japanese Inn/Hotel) Kyoto along with his sister who is my Aunt Okami. Hiiragiya is a historical Inn that was build in year 1818 and is now in its sixth generation of innkeepers run by my fathers family. It was very amazing and the scenery was just wonderful! There is a hot springs and a dinner table in the middle of the river. I was so happy to see my father because I haven't seen him for years. I was treated like a princess at the Inn and went inside the hot springs and everything and he even nicknamed me 'Hime'. Well too bad this only lasted for 5 days, this is where the hard part comes in. My father tells me I have to help out in the Inn! ZOMG It was a real pain. Since the Ryokan was a traditional Inn, I had to wear a Kimono and a Yukata. I could not breath once the maids put the Ibo on my Yukata and I had to always sit on my knees! I had to always bow when customers come in. Luckily everyone can speak English at the Ryokan so they can correct me on my JP language. I can speak, write and understand Japanese but there are A LOT of words I don't understand. Hiiragiya is one of the most famous Inns in Kyoto Japan! *Sighs* and father wants me to be branded the next owner of the Inn and continue our family name as we continue through generations. I'm thinking about it but I have yet to decided. I wonder what adventure awaits me in Korea where my mother lives...

Thanks! Yup. My Mother is from Korea and my Father is from Japan. I'm currently living in America with my grandmother.
My fathers Inn charges ¥26,250 to ¥60,000 Yen ($250-$571) per person. Rates include 2 meals and service charge. Hehe I have the power to discount too. (n_n)
