Anyone a fan of tennis? Wimbledon is on at the moment, thought I'd start a thread here if anyone wants to talk about it.

Being British I've got some hopes for Andy Murray, but with the way Federer's playing lately, he's gonna be pretty damn hard to beat. Anyone else got predictions?

I'm not a fan of tennis. I prefere contact sports but its fun to watch.

It would be nice for us to win this year =D.

Haha I'm a big fan of contact sports, quite into boxing and MMA at the moment - might have to make a thread about that. Football season is over atm, but British Lions are in SA for rugby, might make a thread for that too!

I think Murray's gonna buckle under the pressure, he played poorly yesterday due to that I think. Everyone expects him to win after his recent success, but that could work against him.

Yeah, i don't think he'll win.
But its always nice to hope. I don't keep up with sport much i prefere to play it.
Though i do believe England are qualifying for the World Cup. (Nothing new)
Egypt Beat Italy
I was surprised.

Ahh man, I really wanted Egypt to go through to the semi's in the confederations cup - their match against Brazil was immense, they played really good football.

Federer also won his 2nd match earlier, straight sets, the mans definitely on form.

Federer is always consistant, to be honest he should win.
But fingers crossed for Murray.

Egypt were playing amazing football, i didn't know their team was so good. It shocked me.

lol I'm British too! And yeah I've been to see Wimbeldon a couple times, I enjoy it but I just cant be botherd to go anymore lol but yeah its good

Federer won guys... but Murray didn't do too bad.
It was fun to watch Intense final too.

Yep he sure did, and yeah Murray played really well. The final was great to watch. We just gotta hope that Murray does it next year!
