Cut characters?

Well some characters are being cut from the new game DW6....I actually forgot who they are now if someone so nice could post them up.
Anyway I think this is stooopid anyone else agree?

Meng Huo, Zhu Rong, Yuan Shao?, Da Qiao, Jiang Wei, Zuo Ci

And I agree, it's very stupid. I could live without Yuan Shao or Meng Huo, I never really liked either of those, but Zhu Rong was fun to play. But I suppose they decided to tank Meng Huo, and since he goes, they get rid of her as well. Idiots >_<

I know I liked Zhu Rongs weapon and attitude....So that means no nanman. And Da Qiao, Jiang Wei and Zuo Ci were seriously some of my fave characeters...I really cant see why they get rid of them....Pointless

Well, Zuo Ci role in the RotTK was very small, and his Musou was also a little made up. But as a character unto himself, he was pretty good. His stats were higher than Lu Bu's! LOL

From the lists iv seen they also seem to have cut Peng De which i think is not good as he was great in dw5.

Are you kidding me? Pang De? He was the worst character ever! ...SOOO Slow and had like no story to him

I can understand Zuo Ci, his weapon and style, while fun, is way too much fantasy for the newly remodeled path they seem to be pushing Dynasty Warriors onto. There's alot more realism, in weapons and gameplay, and with all of that realism, a man that walks around flinging a deck of cards as a weapon isn't that plausible. Like that's why they removed Zhu Rong and Meng Huo. Not to mention switching SSX's weapon from chakrams out to a bow.

Yea I can see why they got rid of him...But I cant see why they did Meng Huo, Zhu Rong, Da Qiao....and the rest? They had good plots and they linked with each other. I wonder if Da Qiao will be in Sun Ce's story.

Yuan Shao is in Dw6.I think the worst cut is Jiang Wei I kind of see him as instrumental to Shu after Zhuge Liang's death he assumed the northern campaign so he was pretty important the rest i could live without.I thought they should have added Deng Ai to Wei so that Jiang Wei and Deng Ai would fight each other.

I agree, he may have been interesting historically, but game wise, he didn't make it for me.

I would never want to see Yuan Shao, Zhang Jiao, or Dong Zhuo get the cut. I don't think they would first of all, I think they've been there since Dynasty Warriors (the fighting game) and they're too important to the story. Being a unique NPC would suck for their fans, me being one.

I don't understand Jiang Wei or Da Qiao getting cut at all. But if you ask me, it's all for an Xtreme Lengends.

O yea never thought of an XL6.....Maybe they will be in that, but I wonder what will happen Wu Zhang Plains now....Will Zhuge Liang still die?
And the Qiao level...me liked that one

Many of the stories/ musou are fitionalized now. For example, Dian Wei is in battles that happened after his death. Lu Xun is in a Xu Chang battle, which never happened, and Sun Jian fights Lu Bu, which is fiction as well. Zhang Jiao fights alongside Dong Zhuo at Hulao Gate in Lu Bu's Musou. So Zhuge Liang's death will be very interesting without Jiang Wei, but I'm sure there is a loophole around it now.

maybe it is like SW where some characters look unique but cannot be played? they were playable in the XL mode as well.

I think there is a reason to the Cut DW is flooded with characters compared to SW DW has like 50 characters they are trying to balance both of the Games and the Cut has it's goods.

Future Game= Old Characters with new looks.

I cant believe some of the characters they are cutting are so stupid because i think they are good like Jiang Wei whats up with him going!
