Are you kidding? Her weapon is deadly at close range. 5 arrows at one person does loads of damage.
That bow is one of the best weapons they have added. once you get used to it its brilliant

I dislike the character, because she's usually so boring to play. Though with her new weapon, I don't know why all you people liked her Chakrams, not to mention her special move sucked.

With her bow its boring, but you can kill a load.

I actually have to disagree ^_^

I think she was an excellent character, much better than a lot of the other females that just make you want to snore... Personally I believe she was the strongest of all the women, with the exception of Yue Ying, I think those two are close.

Her chakrams were really fast, if there are soldiers surrounding you, and you're trying to get somewhere like killing an enemy officer before he/she kills your own, you just fight your way through pretty quickly, her chakrams are really fast resulting in usually getting a first hit advantage.

Her special wasn't bad either, especially when your equipped with Way of Musou, she move seems to clear everything up easily, and I found controlling her to be easy... that is for me of course... others have other opinions XD

In terms of boring... well it really depends on how well you can use the character, I find that I'm best with SSX and Da Qiao, resulting in it being very fun... or Cao Pi, but when it comes to some other characters like Zhen Ji (no offense to you hon), Lu Bu, and a whole bunch of others, I find it ridiculously boring, and almost annoying.

Her bow is cool too, wiping out all those soldiers, theres no greater pleasure in seeing hoards of enemies die (sadistic talk i know I know)... the only downside is her look, that Tomboyish look is gone, replaced by a more feminine one... either they hate tough girls... or SSX had grown up.. I have to admit though, it is appealing ^_^

i really agree with ssx she is a good character with both weapons bow or chakrams.But i like cao pi and zhen ji they are good characters.

Need help? This is the tpye of thing that really gets these discussions going, keep it up! ;D

As for her actual character, She seems to have for more personality than the other woman (with the possible exceptions of Zhen Ji and Zhu Rong). I think she is the best female character in DW6, though that could be because the only other playable female is Diao Chan.

As for her weapons, The chakrams, if used well, could be one of the more nasty weapons in the game. Some of those moves were great crowd killers. Though the rest of the moves could have been better due to range. Still, like i said, if used properly she is a great crowd killer.
In DW6 they have never used bows before, and this gives her a great advantage. While she can shoot from afar, it does little damage but makes sure she cannot be hurt. At close range she can do tons of damage, but if attacked she does not do well.
Though she can really damage gates and stuff because of this!!!
While when I have played her I have almost died some times, I have also pulled off some amazing fights. When you are quite good at DW (which I am- no boast I've been playing for 5-6 years) she can be one of the best players in the game.

Lol you're entitled to your opinion, and I respect that, it all depends on what you like for you to like the character... besides, at one point I started to despise her, and then re-liked her again... then again I was feeling very antagonistic to all characters and all games even none DW related XD

Zhen Ji had personality... but I can't say tenacity... or pigheadedness is considered a part of a persons good personality XD

Sun Shang Xiang at times when using her on chaos mode, I get into bad situations, but I somehow always manage to pull through by going mad with her special... then again when I feel like I'm about to die, I get pissed and fling the controller on the ground, and turn off my PS2... resulting in me buying about *counts on fingers* 25 controllers... thats not including three PS3 and 22 PS1 controllers (Hello my name is Marin and I have anger issues)

... anyways....

I also had some awesome battles by using her, my fondest battle being Battle of He Hei... my cousin got scared because Cao Cao couldn't even land one hit on me, and this was hard mode... I think I was angry that day lol, basically I kept on knocking him into the air, then attack him while hes up, and as we came down I kept attacking over and over and over... well you get the picture and couldn't let him down... I think I was scared at myself after cause I had the odd wild look in my eyes after...

ok so it all comes down to how well you can use a character XD

The Pigheaded personality in the game is the game, I picked Zhen Ji as a character here not really as a favorite in game character, but a historical character. Her personality is a sweet, kind woman (desperate for the love of Cao Pi) in the book from what I've read up on, Koei made her the way she is in the game.

Yes thats true, I hate the way they depict her in the game... it's almost pathetic, it's sad that Cao Pi was a jerk both ways XD

Back to SSX

Her cut scenes are way better than in DW5, the ending wasn't as depressing and it had some hopefulness in it.. Sun Quan should have lightened up a bit near the middle.
