Best Generic Weapon

For me, it seems to be pikes, actually. Characters with pikes (not just Lu Bu) seem to be overpowered (even custom characters with pikes).

Note: This is for only Melee weapons, obviously. I am not including bows in this.

I'll have to say spears because Ma Chao has a spear and he is a beast. Though pikes are a very close second best.

Im with Spear as well simply because they have a nice attack range which is important with me and they are easy to handle, fast and with a good powered up character they can be awesome when there are loads of enemies around you.
