OK a lot of the active members agree that we should be able to make 2 FULL characters and not just use them as bodyguards. I mean a person could only have 1 canon and then 1 custom. It would be a lot better since you couldn't fully play out a bodyguard to their full potential.

I agree, but i think two custom characters should be allowed as well. not just one canon, and one non-canon.

I prefer the bodyguard but i would be fine with 2 characters. What still bugs me too this day is some people still have 2 characters and other are not allowed, iv argued against this already but was turned down.

I sorta get, that when you have beeh here long enough, you get to keep your char. But damn. >.> Some of us have good ideas for 2nd chars. Idk why we can't have them... <.< \ But i do like the guards xD.

I think it should just be like DW5's setup.
Give us two full characters, with charges and all that, and each of these is allowed a single bodyguard.
There would still be only four characters per person, only now it's two officers and two bodyguards, not one officer and three bodyguards.
However, the bodyguards can have no real standing within the kingdom, would not be allowed to hold positions of authority, and so forth.
I agree that it's highly unfair that some are allowed to have this, even if they have been here for a longer time than others. All it does is further slant the kingdoms towards being unbalanced, given that both of their characters are in a single kingdom.

Just a note, this is being discussed in the moderator section of the staff forums Just so you guys don't need to keep debating about it, we have taken attention to it and are discussing it.. working on boundaries so it stops godmodding but allows people to have two characters. Please be patient and i'm sure the wait will be worth it

-claps his hands together infront of his face- Sorry I think I started this little thing on the thread, or at least pushed it enough into notice that it was finally posted. For me, I just had an idea of something I wanted to do, a character I was thinking of in my head that was a lot of fun and would probably get along better with the other players as my current is rather shady and reclusive. But at the same time for him to be at the full potential I was going at for his character design, he'd have to be a character all his own, not a bodyguard. Not to start anymore debate or anything of course. Also, I second the idea of 2 Officers with 1 bodyguard each, but that's just my own view point, and it'd be cool to have a vote (when the staff is done inquiring) to see what could possibly be the best course of action to fit the wants of the users, and not step on any toes or limitations of the forum as a whole. It's good to know though that this is being discussed, for the longest time I thought it was being overlooked and was just pushed aside

I think its a great Idea but the problem would be if we have 2 characters from diffrent forces, for example,, someone would play Zhao Yun and another would play Xiahou Dun. Some members may use the plans from another force discussed in the camps to use it against the opposing force, which would not be fun at all.
Unless we are able to use characters from the 'Other' force, where there are no hidden campboards for them to discuss in.

For those who were not around for the rule change
You can now have 2 characters although if you do 0 guards. Those characters do have to be in the same force and only 1 can be cannon.

Actually, that transferring of information from one character to the other without some form of IC logical reason can pretty much be considered a form of god-modding, otherwise known as meta-gaming, which is a really big no-no in the roleplaying community.
