I find that games these days are WAY to easy! the old games were a chalenge i remember playing an old ff game it was tough anyways who agrees?

depends on the game. Some of the new PS3 games are harder while some are still even easier.
One thing i am certain of though, every new DW game that comes out gets easier.

easier DW? are you playing Normal mode always? Try the Hard mode, or the Master mode, its indeed hard when your not level 50

I wouldn't say it was impossible, I find it fun (but very very hard) to do the hardest mission on the hardest mode, but i do use a character that cannot get stronger

even master and hard are easy the AI just get stronger not smarter or better so all you need is to up your character level a little.

The only way it would be hard is to do a chartcer at hard level when they are leval 1. But you would get killed in like a few hit, but otherwise i cant think how that game is hard.

Meh, some games are difficult, but it is true that most games are catering towards casual gamers so they are making them easier. I personally don't mind it, as long as a game can keep me entertained I'm ok with it =P

Where are the rediculously hard games anymore? Megaman? Got too easy. At least Metroid is still difficult...Final Fantasy...well, 7-12, except for some secret bosses, pathetic...and you could probably go beyond that (I still haven't gotten to play the original FF2, though). Why, back in my day, Star Wars games were difficult! I'd like to see YOU try X-Wing or Tie Fighter on an old Mac or Windows (95 or 98, to give you an idea). You think the B-Wings from Episode 6 look cool? Try PILOTING them...freakin' hard! Same thing for TIE Bombers! Try getting your bombs to go accurately! But no...in Star Wars Battlefront 2, they hit right on target.

Ahh, to think of the glory days of being anywhere from age 6 to 9...XD. I really did have fun with those games though.

They are probaly not getting easier its probaly just use getting better at playing video games on a whole. I've gone back to play a couple of games i used to struggle at like hell with and i've found them a pushover now. So... although i agree some parts of this comment. But games nowadays are alot of fun.

Yeah I never thought of that actually, I go back to some games and find them really easy but when I first played it I didnt. But usually the most difficult thing I have in some games is knowing where to go I know it sounds dumb but I really do, but once Ive figured it out the next time I play its so much easier!

Sorry for reviving an old threat with this post but I wanted to add my opinion on this case (even though you might not value my opinion just yet). I myself have a lot of gaming consoles, but the one I use most would be my nes or atari, why? because it has challenging games with 1 or 2 modes which keep being fun. The current games I seem to rush through in like 2 days and I never can get myself to play an unlocked by completing the game elite mode with these new games.
Also if you guys want a hard game, try heart of darkness I just completed it and it was like totaly evil, especially without a ps1 mem card making it a rush through playstyle.

anyway the new metroid for the wii should be decent since team ninja works on it *hopes for an insanely hard game*
