(Something that came to me one night and i jotted down a few notes and this is what i got. Hopefully its not too terrible!)
A large chinese eagle perched upon the last arm of a crooked birch tree. Veiled and scapegoated in a thousand feathers, peering down upon the corpse of his master.
Ten thousand fingers smothering his throat, as he chokes for air. Songs are sung for heroes.. but what is there for villians?
Lu Xiang, his name. Eagle of the North. fifteen corpses high, holding the flag of blue.
Black are his eyes now, Through his service finally laid to rest. Loyal until the final breath, granted a warrior's death.
He pulls out a small scroll, gently it rolls down.
"Within the white shell of the golden city the eagle now resides. But don't be a fool my love, brothers, my friends, my people.. an eagle never dies. Look to the sky! and there he will be.. For Lu Xiang lived. For Lu Xiang is me...
The man laid finally, his eyes shut firmly two arrows clogged into his chest and his sword still firmly kept toward his chest.

I love the theme and the emotion, especially the speech part. Now, that be my favourite part.
The first two stanzas, though, didn't really had a consistent flow. I thought it more to be fluctuating. Especially the first one. If ya know what I mean.
Otherwise, it was a good poem. Deserving of Lu Xiang indeed. =D
