OK this does seem like a silly question, as dw does tend to make him sorta evil. But look at the facts.
Yes he did betray Wei and caused their ruin and so on, however he did bring in the Jin dynasty, which finally did bring peace to the land after so much war.
I voted for villain though, as I don't think he betrayed Wei for the right reasons.

His intentions were for himself, though he ended the three kingdoms he did it for his own greed not for everyone else therefore he is a villian in my opinion.

The Jin dynasty was based on corruption and soon split into tiny factions bringing even more war. He also was a traitor and deceiver a villain for sure.

He took advantage of his position as Prime Minister to Wei( I think that was his title) and took over the land. So much temptation would drive anyone to do that. Even a hero could so easily turn into a villan. Therefore I will not vote cuz i wuves Sima Yi^^
My choice would be quite biased.

I as well agree with Lu Xiang. He was really greedy. Although he was a great strategist.(though Zhuge Liang was better)
