Canon Characters?

So I'm a bit confused about canon characters here. Some threads say you can have more than one character and some say you can't.. I just don't really know..

All I DO know for sure is you need to be active to play a canon character. And that's cool. I totally understand because they are canon after all and need someone dedicated in order to portray them fairly.

Also, is the list of characters accurate? Because I see some names there which have not logged in or posted for a long time. Which isn't right if people with canons are supposed to be active.

Can you play a canon character if you already have an original character? If so, what are the details? Do you need to make a new account? What? You tell me.

It's possible I will add to this later I just want to know the basics before I forget to ask.

OH WAIT I thought of something else!

Do we have to be restricted to characters from the Dynasty Warriors series? What about Samurai Warriors? I thought it could be amusing if someone from SW randomly ended up here and what would happen because of that. I understand if this is a big no-no though, but I just wondered.

I'm still not sure about the rules but I'll answer your questions to the best of my knowledge.

You CAN play a canon and non canon character at the same time.They just have to be apart of the same force.If you play a canon character you would have to be active as you said.

I'm kinda sure the list is kept accurate most of the time,if you want to know who is taken and who is not I suggest messaging admin.(Cause he's a cool dude)

You would not have to make a new account.You would just have to incorporate the characters name into your name.For example,say I wanted to be Guan Yu.I'd have to change my name to Aroshimaro/Guan Yu or maybe Aroshimaro Yu or something like that.

I'm almost positive we can't be anyone from Samurai Warriors.Because Samurai Warriors have people who use guns and explosives (Masamune Date) and if we had Samurai Warriors we would probably have to get Orochi warriors in too.And that would lead to me slaughtering everyone and making Da Ji my wife.

I hope I answered your questions and it would be nice if a mod or someone more familiar with the rules could clarify anything I may have gotten wrong.
