The question: What do you think happens to your broken soul after your body start to decompose in the ground?
Me personally I believe in the system of reincarnation in the way that it cannot be a great paradise or nothing at all.

Born as a Methodist Christian, I was taught to and do believe that after the death of the body, the soul lives on forever, either in hell or in heaven. The latter is, of course, decided before God (not Matthew Sarson) as a question of whether the man or woman received salvation during their earthly lives or not.
Uh... yeah.

I'm more of an Atheist, i'm open to opinions however i don't think we will ever know. If we pass into another world such as heaven and hell then theres no way to pass on such information. If we linger as free spirits or "ghosts" we can't contact the living in means of speech and the statement remains firmly has anyone actually seen a ghost? However it all depends on personal experiences, my mother likes to go and speak to her relatives who have died through a psychic, they pick up on information that nobody would know which makes me consider the afterlife, perhaps it could exist?
Its rather farfetched, consider its something we've believe to existed for years - probably before the early bibles were written. But what is the afterlife, basically the question. I believe the after life is a place we can rest - well i hope so, seeing as this life is so tiring. I don't believe heaven and hell exist however, i think that was just something people told people to keep them in line and in order. Continue this thread however guys i'm interested on everyones views now days and what its like around the rapidly evolving world and different views in different places of the world.

firstly, despite what matthew has said he does not decide what happens when we die. instead i am the one who... lol just joking i personally believe that several different things can happen, you could stay around for a while as a ghost or move on to someplace else, mostly in reincarnation but maybe something else as well. i also think that when we are born we have memories or our old life, but when you gain your new ones you lose the ones from the old life i'll tell you about it if i die lol

What are you talking about of course i am the one who decides i dont really know what to believe, there is no scientific way to prove anything about it, so i would just prefer to believe it will some how end up granting me new and amazing powers.

Well...if anyone has read the book of Revalation. Look at the signs that it says there...we are this close to Jesus coming back. Which I know I will be taken to his kingdom(i am baptist by the way). Most stuff about God can't be proven by science I know that...but not much is supposed to be figured out about God until we get to Heaven. Did you know that the date science gives for the big bang proves it wrong? It would take hundreds of billions of years to develop a single cell...
