Hello to all! I'm Raizama, and I've been loving all of the creativity flowing on this board, so I decided to post some of my most creative works as well. I have alot of creative talents, but my favorite one is music. I front an alternative-punk rock band called Farenheight (intentionally spelled wrong). Consequently, I decided that I'd post a few of my lyrics here, explaining how they came into existence. Hope you like it!
The first song is entitled "Caution". Basically, this song chronicles my uneasiness about relationships, and falling in love. All of those inhibitions, doubts, and shortcomings that begin to surface, just before you get serious about it, and trying to find a way out of it. It's all about love, the damage that it can cause, and taking heed to the warning signs.
Caution
Verse 1
I back up ever so slowly
But it seems that everyone's told me the same thing
That it's worth it; in the end
Now I'm headed for an escape route
I've learned nothing else can save you
But you can enter at your own risk
It's all the same, and nothing's worth the pain
Chorus
You'd best take caution
Before all you've been searching for is lost
And you will never find
It'll creep from behind
And you'll never know; until it hits
So you'd best take caution
Verse 2
I've found a detour, in all this
But it seems like everything's falling too fast
For me to get out unscarred
I'm between a rock and a hard place
Cause from what they all say
I might be cheating my own heart
Why is love so hard?
They're all the same; so why do I need to change?
