Rui sighed and paced the deck of his ship that was locked firmly into the harbour. The crew lazed around and some had disappeared. Rui hadn't had a job in weeks and he was running low on money. "ARGH! I need to get some gold, why doesn't anyone want to send out trade anymore? Maybe I should help out in the battle against that Yellow Turban guy... I'll need someone to hire me first." Rui grumbled to himself, he had sent out flyers around the city in hope of someone actually responding to him.
Pirates may not be the most desired but at least they could get a job done. Kenshi, Rui's younger brother soon came running up from the pier to join Rui on the deck. "Rui, I sent out more flyers and posters. So... are we really going to try and get into the war against the Yellow Turbans? Is there even any water up North or are you actually setting foot on land?" Kenshi questioned sounding rather exhausted. Rui grinned and stamped a foot on the railing of the boat and he looked at the city. "Yes dear brother, its time the land Pirates took to the earth once more. That's only if anyone hires us..." Rui's cool pose soon melted away as he removed his foot from the railing and glowered out across the streets.

Yuan Shao was sat in his quarters going through plans on how to beat the yellow turbans. There was a knock on his door which he prompted the man to come in. "Sir, take alook." The man handed over a piece of paper. Yuan Shao examined the paper. "Hmm, send a letter to these men. Tell them that if they help me defeat the yellow turbans they will be rewarded greatly by the emperor and that there may be more work for them from me in the future. Now go, get writing." "Yes sir!" The man left the room and began writing the letter. Yuan Shao continued to work on different plans to defeat the rebels.

Rui sighed and laid on his back upon the deck and gazed up at the sky as his brother sat close to him. The sun was beating down upon him but he didn't care, if he were to bake to death in the glare then who would care. After a little while a man showed up baring a letter for him and his crew. Rui swiftly set to work upon reading the letter and soon a huge grin formed upon the pirate's lips. "This is our chance brother! Messenger, take me to the man who sent this letter."
Rui felt excited as he forced his brother to his feet and got the man to take him back to Yuan Shao. The thought of money attracted his attention the most and maybe getting some recognition would help him even further into the world. It wasn't long until they arrived at the office where Lord Yuan Shao stayed. The messenger headed inside to alert him of the pirates who had arrived.

Yuan Shao was still studying battle plans when his messanger came in. "Sir, the pirates are here." "Good send them in." Yuan Shao tidied up the pieces of paper he had been writing on and put them away and awaited for the pirates to come in.
They had walked through the door, Yuan Shao stood up and extended his arm out to shake each persons hand. "Welcome, i trust you are here to help me defeat the yellow turbans. You will be rewarded greatly. Do you have anymen?"

Rui grinned at Yuan Shao before striding up in a cool and collect manner. He noticed the extended hand so gave it a firm shake. "Indeed. My crew is at your command. I don't have many since they are just peasant fishermen but I can round some up easy. My services are now yours." Rui spoke removing his hat and giving a bow.
Kenshi stepped forward and shook the mans hand. Kenshi was a large man with impressive muscles so could be a strong fighter. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Kenshi and this is my brother Rui, we are of the Takiri family." Kenshi introduced, his voice calm compared to his feisty brother.

Both men shook Yuan's hand, Kenshi had a stronger grip than Rui, mainly due the the sheer size and strength Kenshi possessed. "Nice to meet you both, I will try pull some strings and get some men from He Jin to have enrolled into your force. Please, feel free to stay in my quarters or take a look around town. There is paper over there if you wish to draw up any battle plans you have. I shall not be long" Yuan Shao bowed and left his quarters to go to the imperial palace.

Rui chuckled to himself as he heard that he would probably get some troops from the man. "How kind of you, I shall do my best to help you to victory." Rui spoke before walking over to the paper and he already started drawing up plans. "We will not be defeated!" Rui laughed aloud sounding rather insane whilst leaving his brother standing in silence.

Yuan Shao approached his quarters to meet the two brothers, he walked up to his down and kicked it open ( did they have doors? :L ) "Insolent bastard! He said no to the troops but on my way here i received a letter from Liu Bei, he needs help in Bei Ping, we must go there where you two can prove yourself to the Han, he lacks faith in you that bastard but i do not. Once we stop out the yellow turbans hopefully we will get a cash reward or maybe more troops. Oh we leave at once."

Rui and Kenshi looked at each other and grinned before turning to Yuan Shao. "If you want us to sort it out then we are at your service. Just take us there and we will deal with it my Lord." Rui spoke whilst bowing politely, he seemed a little like a trickster by the way he spoke and smiled but he was trust-worthy and loyal despite being a pirate. "Lead the way my Master!" Rui called out as he pumped his fist into the air, he was ready to fight.
