Liu Bei had traveled with his newly recruited army of 700, most of them were to afraid to go on the offensive, but were Certain that they could defend their own land. Others didnt care what they did so long as they fought for the Han, and for some, Liu Bei.
As the small army of fighters reached the large city of Bei Ping, a small stir was caused. Currently Occupied by the Yellow Turbans, Bei Ping was a quiet town, one that had been stripped of its culture and identity, something that left a large stone in the pit of Bei's stomach. He walked through the town with his followers watching as the poor civilians Were shoved around by the Turban guards. Two young women, carrying cloth and silk were intercepted by the Brutish guard. They began to rip their cloth, stealing some for themselves, then began to grab the women pulling them away.
One of Bei's Militia men walked up to the guards and yelled
M: Hey, Ass hole, leave the girls alone!
The two guards look up and angrily walk forward, noticing quickly that over 700 Men backed this one man up, caused the guards to high tail it into the palace District, No doubt that this would cause officials to show up and cause a scene, It was time for bei to beat them to it.
Bei stood up on a large platform, its Original purpose was for Public announcements or the occasional beheading. Naturally when Bei stood on it, a crowd began to gather, expecting a speech from their current lord Zhang Jiao. Both scared to death, and hopeful for a change civilians began to gather as Liu Bei Spoke.
Bei cleared his throat, having never spoken to a crowd this large before he wouldnt pretend not to be Intimidated, but he couldnt back down, at this point he didnt have much choice.
"Good Evening...erm....uh..."
Closing his eyes Bei let out a sigh and thought of Zhou County, he thought of the Children of whom he had saved during the first raid of the turbans, he thought of his Mother, whom had died of Illness when she could not get the proper care. Suddenly his fear went away, his eyes opened wide, and yet his pupils seemed to narrow like a hawk. He knew what had to be done.
"Citizens of Bei Ping, Of He Bei, Of China, Of the Han Dynasty. I come to you not for Taxation, not fo goods or property, not for money or power. I come to you as a fellow lower class, Searching for those who want things back the way they once were, or possibly better. I am hear to speak to the men, whom have watched their wives and Daughters, sons and mothers be thrown about, and abused by the turbans, i speak to the citizens who have dedicated their life to creating an easy system to live on, only to have it destroyed and mocked by the very government that has sought to protect us. I come not to speak ill of the Yellow Turbans, but to Destroy It!"
At that some cheered, some were in shock including Bei himself. He had never imagined he could Hone such hate for other human beings, however it was clear to him, and to many of the citizens here that it was time for a change, and a change is what would occur
"If you feel so empty, so used up, so let down. if you feel so Angry, so ripped off, so stepped on. Your not the only one refusing to back down. your not the only one, so get up, let us take Bei Ping back to those who truly deserve it, back to the Han, back to our ancestors who fought and died protecting the ancient customs of China, for those who gave all they had and then a little more. Can we not match them, must we always settle for less?"
(Three Days Grace- Riot)
Bei now had a larger crowd here, some cheering him on, others watching nervously for the turbans to arrive once more.
"Please now, before your country, before your family and most importantly before yourself rise up and fight this power that has so boastfully taken our home from us, fight for what is rightfully yours, fight for your Children, your Kin, Your home, your dignity, your ancestry, fight for the Unification of the Han! if you are interested meet in Zhou County with all that you have, we will get you and your family shelter, and safety"
This gets the crowd going, as several Turban officers finally break through the crowd and begin heading up towards the Podium that Bei had left himself on. Bei's guards assist him in getting off the podium and out of the clutches of the guards. Due to the severe outnumbering forces between the turbans small platoon, and Bei's nice sized commodity, the turbans rather than fighting, offered a warning. Normally these angry men would have torn into the turbans, but Bei had a plan, one that they respected and would follow.
(Let me know how this turned out)
