Indeed a being one must always be cautious of, within the ingorant robes hides the cunning spirit of the fox whose elloquent words take on a persona of innocense. Respectful to those who he sees as deserving, however, those of his clansmen are treated well without question. Many percieve him as tainted of the Nether Realm, but on the other hand, he simply acts in the way to elovate the one he serves. Loyal to the last breath, the honour he has is comendable; even if there have been instances where such is questionable.

A gift from a douting father-in-law, a finely forged Jian to wield whenever is needed. Its name comes from the beings most feared, the fox spirit who can possess, haunt and gradually destroy by withering the body to devour the soul.
Weapon Strengths:
- Flexible, durable, swift & precise.
Weapon Weaknesses:
- Li Ru is an advisor primarily, physically weak, he needs a lot of strength to cause devastating attacks. Also as a Jian, the blade is thin and vulnerable against heavier weapons opening it to become shattered or damaged.
Armour:
An official of court and close advisor to his father-in-law, Li is known to accompany upon the battlefield however, the robes of every day are retained..underneath, a layer of chainmail protects the upper half of the torso.
History:
Born within the Wuwei regions, the youthful Li took to his education and enjoyed the classics of old; taking much from Confucious and the military 'genius' Sunzi. Soon enough his wit was known to many, intelligence past his years and given a chance to partake in the courts of the local authorities. A reputation was given to his work, for being a figure with out deterant and venomous tongue that brought swift justice in ways that he did not wavor from. This is where Li met another, a large figure whose disposition was transforming into something familar, the Nether Realm brought two beings together; in matrimony Li Ru took a daughter, becoming a clansmen. Loyalty was set, Li broke from the local government to serve Zhongying to the full of his abilities.

Not a being of wit, his physical prowess can sometimes be questionable however, leading men is where Niu excells; enjoying the feel of power upon a unit of men giving him satisfaction known to many'a commander. A brutal tongue was bestowed upon him and the frank attitude gained much recognition, while a matching amount of ridicule. He is loyal to the core and desires nothing else to see his liege elovate to the Heavens; in any way possible, leaving nothing out of discrimination.

Another gift from a once generous being, from the father-in-law Zhongying this finely forged pole-arm came into Niu's hands. It has a sharp axe blade with a tassle of blood red for decoration. The blade of this pole-arm is of a halberd, yet it's shaft is not as long as that of a spear of halberd; yet it can be held with two hands.
Tempered Wind:-
A simple Jian that was given to him by his first military mentor, a man of the iron fist and mountains for legs; sturdy heart was within and through this suple weapon can perform swift sequences at dangerous effects.
Weapon Strengths:
- Dexterous, swift, endurable and sharp bladed.
- Swift, flexible, double-edged & durable.
Weapon Weaknesses:
- To cause devastating attacks force is needed behind each swipe; which is usually done with two hands. Also, it does not have the long range of a full length halberd/spear.
- A simple Jian that can become damaged or shattered by a heavy weapon as its opponent. Niu's training was not focused on swordsmenship, thus his experience lacks with the Jian.
Armour:
A helmet adorned with the figure of a demon, the crest being the head as a pink tassle pertrudes from the tip and attached to the base of the helmet is a length of thick material acting as a neck guard. Wrapped around his neck, tightly, is a yellow coloured silk cloak that lays gently ontop of a plated chest armour that has the reoccuring theme of beings of the Nether Realm. Similar traits are of the shine and thigh guards, with the faces of perishing souls upon the shoulder guards that are linked to the body plate to increase agility.
History:
Within the Wuwei region Niu showed no potential to walk the path of a scholar, his mind could not comprehend the simplistic notions of strategy or the lymarics that were used in the arts. So he was tried within the militant arts, something Niu finally adapted to and took by the reigns to charge into ease. Each lesson became an enjoyment, pole-arsm were his forte and the battlefield his desires; to command units of men was his chance to prove that his worth was far beyond others. Such skill within the local authority's militia did not go unnoticed, as Minister Zhongying sort a change within himself and needed talented beings by his side for the ambitions within the abyss. It was an odd sight as the two enjoyed each others company, Dong admiring his willingness to carry out any mission no matter the subject; as Niu was impressed with the words of Zhongying and burning ambition. Taken into his embrace, Niu married a daughter of Zhongying to become his clansmen; the bond tighter than any other...
