Wu.
The first expeditions would be set, the primary campaigns of the army of Jiang Dong launching out on their journey toward the capital areas. But before anything of the sort occurred, there were things to do, situations to be handled, and of course making sure that they had the best of resources, and to the full at that. Among those "resources" were the people, the ones that were vital in battle. The men that made up the armies, the people that would have the possibility of giving the advantage or not.
Recruiting was always an important task in the part of growing an army. There was basically no other choice to make at the moment if they were to act quickly in getting more troops. Cheng Pu was up for the task, and he would not let his master down. Early in the morning, it was only a day since he had officially entered Lord Sun Jian's service. But there was no time to waste if they were to leave on the march against the Yellow Turbans. Immediately, Cheng Demou rose and collected together the best of the scribes and the speediest of his soldiers as they met under the barely rising sun.
"Scribes, you shall write down exactly what I say now:
"'The most respected Sun Jian of Wu is rising to act against the vile bandits known as the Yellow Turbans. We are in need of men, young and old; from all of Jiang Dong who are willing to join this worthy cause. Fighting for your family, your land, your own empire, will you not assist us in crushing this evil enemy? If so, arrive as soon as possible to the city of Wu.'
"Now the rest of you, go and take the message to every corner of Wu, Hui Ji, Lu Jiang, and Jian Ye, and post it everywhere you can."
----
Several days passed.
It was the morning that the miracle was to occur. Cheng Pu climbed the stairs of the walls, leading to the very top of the city's boundaries. As Demou stepped onto the platform, he closed his eyes for one moment before he looked down. With a loud cheer, there it was. The crowd. The multitude of men, waiting to offer their services to the Tiger of Jiang Dong.
"Send word to Lord Sun Jian that we have an increase in our numbers."
(OOC: Can a mod give me a number of troops for this?)
