Name: Cao Hong
Age: 21
Residence: Chen Liu
Appearance: [See Picture]
Personality: Unlike his cousin, Cao Hong is a straight forward commander. He does not excel in stratagem and he certainly doesn’t comprehend the delicacies of the human condition. No, Cao Hong is very straight forward, very honest and blunt – and it is that subtlety to Cao Hong that makes him so respected among his peers. He is young and loyal, and he feels that his cousin is a man destined to alter the world forever.
Weapon: Cao Hong wields a standard Jian that measures in at 4.2 feet in length. The blade is perfectly straight and the hand which adorns such a finely crafted blade bares a small blue ribbon that symbolises his house.
Weapon Strengths: Fast strokes, easy to manoeuvre with.
Weapon Weaknesses: A Jian is short in reach compared to other weapons, making it viable only for close combat. A jian also will not hold up against a larger/heavier weapon in a deadlock.
Armour: Very much like the image presented. Cao Hong wears with him a simple tunic covered with thick lamellar armour and a helmet. The armour covers his chest, which features a central area of thin plated mail and shoulder pads. The armour is generally made up of leather, but the front, back and main parts are all lamellar coated.
History: Not a lot to say really. Cao Hong was a soldier in Chen Liu for a while, and joined Cao Cao’s call to arms when he moved visited his cousin in Pu Yang, before the Turbans seized it. Now he acts as the forward general to Cao Cao’s small army and awaits a chance to show off his mettle in combat.
Other details: Cao Hong is a fan of women and wine.

Name: Li Dian
Age: 23
Residence: Chen Liu
Appearance: [See Picture]
Personality: Cao Cao was pleased with Li Dian because of the man’s keen eye and general intellect. Li Dian, unlike what popular belief may tell you, is actually an intelligent man. He is no scholar, but he is certainly adept at forming battle strategies, and he has the mettle and skill in leading to march the armies himself – making him an invaluable asset to the Cao Army. Asides from that, Li Dian is very much a believer of peace, he looks to Cao cao to bring an end to the chaos – singling him out as a ‘special’ individual with the means to achieve such levels of greatness. He serves Cao Cao faithfully and loyally, allowing nothing – not even temptation of rank and gold to sway the heart he has built for his lord’s ambitions.
Weapon: Li Dian wields a spear that is 6 or so feet in length. The blade attached to the front of the wooden pole is half a foot long, making the shaft itself a good 5.5 feet.
Weapon Strengths: Quick thrusting capability, excellent range and it’s harder to defend against when used properly.
Weapon Weaknesses: point of attack is small, meaning if an attack passed the spear head it can be incredibly difficult for the wielder to defend/block. The spear is also quite long, making it awkward when fighting one on one with a swordsman.
Armour: Li Dian is nowhere near as attired as his two superiors. He wears a general tunic with a padded overcoat of leather. Atop of that he has another robe like gown, that’s fastened with a few stripes of lamellar and a little bit of hardened padding. His armour is very light, and is used mainly to allow him better manoeuvrability when in fights.
History: Li Dian had helped, or rather – had served a variety of lesser officials and magistrates before he met Cao Cao. When he did, Cao Cao was so impressed with the boys keen eyesight and witty mind that Cao Cao had him employed, shaping him into a true warrior and commander. Now he works as Cao Cao’s field commander, leading a good platoon of men bestowed upon him by his lord. He too awaits a day to test his mettle against the Turbans that have plagued not only his country, but also his own family’s lives.
Other details: Li Dian is very sarcastic/dry.
