Yuan Shao was in his study preparing for possible conflict against the yellow turbans. He was writing down strategies on pieces of paper and eating dumplings. Yuan Shao's maid brought him over some tea after he promted her to. Suddenly there was a knock on his door and a guard had entered.
"Yes? What is it?" Yuan Shao asked the man.
"Sir, 12 men have defected and taken a small supply depot, they killed 6 soldiers." The guard explained.
"Is that so? Right, get me 15 spearmen and 10 archers, also get Yan Liang and Wen Chou." Yuan Shao gave the man orders and soon he had returned with the men he had asked for.
"Right, Lets go."
The guard led Yuan Shao and the rest of the army to the depot. They had made it to the depot, the ring leader ahd obviously spotted the army and started to bark orders at Yuan Shao.
"Yuan Shao, en-roll us as generals in your army, we took this base with ease. We are all better warriors than Wen Chou and Yan Liang. If you do not, we shall burn this place and kill you and your pathetic guards."
Yuan Shao cracked a smile which became loud and sarcastic.
"Fools, Yan Liang Wen Chou go in there and slaughter them, the rest of the army surround them. Now!"
Wen Chou and Yan Liang entered the depot and straight away 2 men ran at them.
"I am Gan Rui and this is my brother Gan Ling, we have come for your heads."
Wen Chou and Yan Liang did not reply instead they cut the men down in one blow. They continued to move forward and two more men ran at them, again both were defeated in one blow.
After seeing the best fighters being cut down 3 men took their own lives, leaving the ring leader and 4 other soldiers to surrender. These men were captured and returned to Ye.
"Yes? What is it?" Yuan Shao asked the man.
