A Stroll(wei Ning)

The air was humid but there was a slight breeze. On the streets, vender's called out loudly to sell their goods. children ran around playing games, as women moved in groups shopping, every once in a while, stopping to buy something cold to drink. Most wore light colors to withstand the heat.

A female, fragile looking turned from the dark alley where she emerged. Her outfit seemed to be the exact opposite of the darkness on which she came from. A light white cloak, with pink cherry blossoms rested on her shoulders and fell down. The edges had gold thread on it, attracting eyes. Underneath her cloak was her normal outfit. A pink skirt, and a v-shaped neckline that went to the middle of her breasts, cut off, no sleeves, It showed maybe three centimeters of skin at the bottom of it. She wore matching open toed heels. She didn't carry her fans with here, but did have her knives.

She moved quickly through the crowd, murmuring "excuse me" and "pardon me" numerous times. Da Qiao Stopped near an alley and stopped upon hearing a high pitched scream.

[Wei Ning]

Wei Ning stood amungest the croud drinking his small glass of tea. His face was low as he wore his straw hat low on this day, mostly from the heat but also because he was in deep thought about his position as a pirate second in command on the red siren now. Since Rui left with another crewmember on a mission he let the ship restock while he went for a little stroll.

He then heard a small, but cute voice, the words hit him hard and he blinked looking for its source. As he found the source the scream came and he blinked a moment in thought as his hand reached for the hilt of his sword. He had both on him like always but his pink cloak covered them well. He then waited to see what the woman would do as she looked rather disturbed at the sound.

She bit her lip, thinking it through quickly. She could go and see what was going on.... But she was barely armed. And if anything violent was happening... She took a deep breath and calmed herself down. Surely nothing too violent would happen. Just if there was... She slipped her hand to her waist and removed her knife. placing it so the hilt was in her hand and the blade firmly against her wrist/arm area, so that few could see it. With her other hand, she pushed her hair away from her face, and slowly moved into the darkness, not even noticing Wei Ning.

A shriek came out from the darkness, a muffled one. Da Qiao froze. It was a women's shriek. There was a low grunt, from a male probably. Da knew that she wouldn't be of much use if what she thought was happening, was truly happening. Thinking quickly, she turned around and saw a man. She almost screamed herself, but put a hand on her mouth to stop it. "What.. Who..?"

[Wei Ning]

Wei blinked as the young woman disappeared into the alley and he followed suit setting his cup on someones head as he walked by to free his hands. "Heh, the cute ones always get into trouble." He says silently to himself disappearing into the darkness.

He stopped to see a man between himself and the woman who initionally followed through into the alley. He couldn't see much past that he did however move to the side close to the wall, so Da Qiao could see him but the man would be unaware he was around. Seems bad things always happen in dark alleys he thinks to himself both hands resting upon his hilts. his cloak moved back enough to show the woman. Hopefully she took it as he was there to help her and not the men.

She saw a man behind the man. 'This is why you dont go rushing into a situation without a plan.'She thought to herself, shifting ever so slightly, so that she was on the balls of her feet. Her feet were slightly apart, one in front of the other. She did it reminding herself that she had to be careful, she was wearing heels. When she looked at the man in front of her and then the one behind him, she saw the hilts of the man's weapons. She did a slight nod, that almost looked like she was fixing her hair. Instead, she was showing the man she knew he was on her side.

She offered a shy smile to the man in front of her and spoke in a soft clear tone. "lovely day isn't it? Now if you could just excuse me..." She took a small step to the left. As she was about to move, the man grabbed a hold of her forearm tightly and she stiffened. Opps.

[Wei Ning]

Wei Ning noticed the nod through the hair fixing and smiled softly. Thats good she knew, well at least the hard part was over with. He let her tune sing into his ears once more as he watched her move to the side.

His hand tightened along his hilt as he saw the man's hand move. with the movement of the hand he let his element of surprise go but as she was grabbed, the hilt of his sword made it into the man back as hard as he could. With the hit he hoped it was a warning the man would take and leave, or at least give the Lady enough time to move past him sence the grip hopefully would of loosened.

With the hit he unsheathed the sword he used the hit the man and smirked softly. "Now, I know thats not how we treat women around here." He let the words move calmly over the situation.

Her eyes widened as the man's grip suddenly loosened. that was... odd. Normally that wouldn't happen unless... She looked at Wei Ning surprised and grateful. She wasn't much against men and didn't mind the help. She spun around, a soft, almost dancer movement. Her hair whirled around her like a whirlpool almost, and when she faced the two men she was at least a foot away.

"I don't believe that's how any male treats any female, around here or not." She spoke softly but in a clear voice. She rotated the hilt of her blade so then it was in a more comfortable position in her hand. And so the blade showed. "Sir..." She spoke to Wei Ning carefully. "I do believe there may be another female in distress.... Farther out." She nodded her head slightly to deeper into the alley. "And i dont believe this... Man, shall be bothering us again... Am i correct?" Da Qiao's voice changed to one of authority and the man's eyes widened. She watched as he trebled slightly and nodded. She almost felt bad for him. almost

[Wei Ning]

Wei Ning smirked as he moved forward towards Da Qiao and stopped facing the man a moment as he began his retreat. He sheathed his blade with a smirk and looks toward Da once more.

"Well I believe ya may be right my little cute friend, so shall we then. I'll bring up the rear just incase our old friend who ran off gets some friends. I bet you have a better sence of direction as well." He nods towards the area she wanted them to go and nods.

"Heh, names Wei Ning by the way. Brave girl you are runnin in here by yourself, figured I'd keep an eye on ya though. Hope ya don't mind."

She looked at Wei Ning and blushed, her cheeks turning a light pink. She wasn't used to being called cute. She never thought much of herself, but knew others, mostly males, thought alot of her. She nodded quickly, and flashed him a smile. She curled her hand holding her knife into a fist and then put her other hand over it, bowing politely.

"Lady Da Qiao. Pleasure to meet you." It was something she did without thinking of, so used to it. "Brave? Ah, not really. Foolish, most likely." She said softly, pushing a strand of hair back. "Follow me... I guess" Da Qiao slowly walked, keeping balance despite the uneven stones on the ground. There was another female cry, but louder. As if they were closer...

[Wei Ning]

Wei Smiled Returning the bow politly before moving up with her, keeping her pace but also keeping his hues wandering from the front towards the rear. He never trusted any alley ways. His hands were upon the hilts of his swords incase they would be needed.

"So care ta tell me about yaself?" He knew they where getting closer to the sounds before them and he hoped to break the ice with her, and ease her nervse before something bigger hit. He'd back her up to the best of his ability, he just hoped she had some tricks up those sleeves of hers should they meet multiple enemies and he'd be tied up with a couple for a bit. Never knew when something would happen.

She was distracted with her thoughts and Wei Ning's question jolted her out of it. More about herself? There wasn't much to her. "I am married to lord Sun Ce. I belong to the kingdom of Wu." What else about her? She didn't have many major accomplishments... "I'm not the best in a fight.... But i can fight."Wasn't the best things to say, but she wasn't going to lie.

She glanced over her shoulder and then stopped, looking at a hole in the ground. "Watch where you step." She said, stepping around it. "And what about you sir?" Her voice was quite. Sort of

[Wei Ning]

Wei Smirked a bit as he listened to her words. His hues focused on the alley ahead and shadows around them as they moved along. "Heh well seems ya have quite the future then if ya with the kingdoms of Wu." He let his mind wander to what lies ahead, not at this moment but with the major fights people shall wage. Wei had a strong feeling the yellow turbans would only be the beginning.

His mind was jumped as he heard the watch out part of her words and he blinked stumbling just a bit barely dodging the hole she mentioned. "Heh, close one thanks." He replied as his hues moved to a moving shadow, and it was moving towards them. "Well we may soon find out how well you can fight, company is coming."

A female scream and then a low male grunt. There was the sound of flesh hitting flesh. Da felt herself go pale. She hated this. "Ah... Yes.." She said to Wei Ning, distracted. She moved forward into the darkness, unable to see. And fell down. She fit the bottom of the hole hard, and didn't take long to realized she wasn't alone. this was where the screams were coming from, it seemed. she swallowed and reached for her fans. She was horrible in a fight...

~He blinked as Da moved forward then dropped. Wei Moved up slowly to see her in a rather large hole. "well seems ya have a bit of a problem, i'll be down in a second."~

~After in which he almost forgot about the three men rushing at them from up top, he stood up a moment just in time to see a sword brush past the front of his body. Wei pushed his foot out in front of him kicking the hand and sword away, he then drew his own weapons quickly prepared to fight the men which wish to fight. "Maybe a moment i have company, miss Qiao."
