Laying back now. Dreams of the father land coming quickly. Snow. Harsh winds. But a warm herth and a family on the way. All shattered by a legend. And a peoples fear and zealous approach to religion.
The rough bark of the tree at his back felt somehow natural to him. He removed his helmet and dropped it down to the grass by his side. This heat, it was intense. Too much for a man that was used to the harsh conditions of the cold snow and ice. It wasn't the sun that got him, but rather the humidity in this country that trapped the warmth in the air. Sufficated it. He took an arm and ran it across his forehead. Taking off the sweat from his brow. Unbuckling a water canister from his belt he brought it to his lips and drank deeply.Leaving a small portion of the water in his mouth.
With this he aimed up and sprayed in a mist into the air. Which for a few seconds. Cooled it for him. This land would not be good for him. He prefered the northern regions were the cold air sung true.
But still. Here in the lush green forest there was something of nature. Something that made him feel at ease as he had done whilst living among the Celts. A soft cool breeze kissed at his body. Giving him some sense of relaxation. There was no doubt about it. This place was going to become a gold mine soon enough. It was just a question of waiting for it. As for Fenrir. He had other plans in this land, ones of his own devising, not particularly with the Black Arms. But he felt that perhaps that was one of the reasons Akumu had sent him.
Because he knew that this warrior had interests here. Sitting back, he unstrapped his sword from his back. And laid it down carefully on the grass. The weight of the blade flattening out the wild growing green. He sat down. The tree supporting him. And listened to nature. And what stories she had to tell.

The day was warm. Not a blazing sun shining down, but more the air, a slightly ill-feeling humidity surrounded the place. Kumi didn't like humidity, it disagreed with her hair and as the day would go on Kumi hair would grow in volume like a chemical reaction to the humidity. She was here in this forest as an escape because it was too hot to be sat inside somewhere and if there was too many people around it just made you feel even hotter.
Kumi contemplated the idea of removing the Kimono she always wore, even though she wasn't feeling incredibly hot as the Kimono was light and more caressed her body than clung to her body like other clothing, she wasn't wearing much underneath and if someone spotted her they'd either have her arrest or, well... lets not go there.
Kumi carried on walking and removed a part of her Kimono off her shoulder, exposing her shoulder and part of her chest, although nothing could be seen, and fanned herself as she walked around for a little while. She was going to let her hair down rather than have it up, but decided against the idea. She just wanted to sit somewhere calm, relaxed and cool for a while until it cooled down or at least until she could be bothered moving elsewhere.
As she carried on walking, she spotted a man with a sword lay by his side. She didn't realy want to approach him because Kumi tended to seem quite... arrogant, lustful and egotistical. Which she actually was, which was why she didn't talk to people often. She rather operate silently and only speak when needed. A she'd say 'Actions speak louder than words.' Incase anything did go wrong, Kumi was armed, her sword was concealed under her Kimono, as it usually was.

Nature, it had a voice of a sweet cool wind. Relaxing his body, blowing away the muggy air of the humid weather. And yet as he began to enjoy this. It was interupted by something. His eyes flashing open. His hand didn't reach for his sword as something moved out and into sight. The sound of the movement. Too soft for any kind of armoured troop. That alone put down any worries he had. He was arrogant enough to believe that he could snap someone from this place with ease who didn't come fully prepared. But yet, that arrogance was not without source. Fenrir was after all. A giant among men. Particularly in these lands. And he was relatively old. At least.
For a mercenary. For men of his work line. To actually reach this age was considered somewhat of a miricle. Soldiers had lowered life expectancy. Mercenaries had down right suicidal ones. Depending on the kind you were. You moved from war to war. Never breaking never stopping until you were dead, or rich enough to retire. Even then you had two enemies. For even if you defeated who you were supposed to kill. And did your job. Your employer could easily turn around, refuse to pay and kill you for demanding money.
But that was the normal risk taken. And Fenrir was a veteran. He had the experience of his 36 years, and the strength of his body. He could probably go another six years of active duty before begining to decline. The person revealed herself. A woman wearing a foriegn kind of dress that these eastern women tended to wear. It was however moved down slightly. Exposing skin on this warm day. To most other men she would have likely appeared attractive. However. Fenrir wasn't that type of man. At least not unless throughly pressed. He had a sense of honour about women that most of his comrades said would get him killed.
He wouldn't attack a woman. He wouldn't hit a woman.
At least. Not unless his life was in danger. She had a wary sort of look to her. As if she did not wish to go near him. He wondered to himself if this was because he was foriegn, or simply because he was an armed man. Either one supported reasoning for staying away. However. If she was hot. This spot did seem to be the place that trapped the cool breeze. He gestured to the area. And then began to speak in the langauge of this land. As much as he didn't like the tongue. He was forced to speak it around here.
" If it is a place to sit and cool you are looking for Lady, then this place seems to trap the breeze well. I assure you. I will not harm you. My only interest this day is surviving this damned heat...".
