Zheng Xian
- Age:
[/li][li]Residence:[/b] Zhangji, a small village within the region of Shou Chu, Jian Dong
[/li][li]Appearance:[/b] Short height and athletic build. Xian's hair is short ending in a small ponytail. His skin is made of a pale yellow, discretely bright when facing the sun. His brown eyes are small, like two almonds, his nose is small and pointy and his lips are of a worn red. Being a farmer and a maid's son, he does not possess a great fortune and therefore is confined to more common and simple clothing.
Note: his hands are not as big as in the picture, so try and imagine them smaller
[/li][li]Personallity:[/b] A passionate man, he has a great affection for the wild and usually prefers the countryside to the restless urban environment. Xian is usually calm and tends to ignore sudden taunts, though if pressed he he becomes very aggressive and easily gets into a brawl. He learned patience and politeness trough harsh education, given by his father. Xian is a bit shy, but has no problems relating with anyone. He is a generous person with a good will and he dreams of one day to be able to give his life for a good cause.
[/li][li]Weapon:[/b] Xian carries a rusty old pike, a weapon he had found within his family's house storage hidden amongst various crates and boxes. Even though it is a weak weapon, it holds great sentimental value to Xian because it was the first he held and it served as his training weapon throughout his childhood.
-Weapon Strengths: Being a prized possession for Xian, it gives him an inner strength and makes him fight harder.
-Weapon Weaknesses: It is an old rusty weapon, not very harmful and it is highly susceptible to get damaged quickly.
[/li][li]Armour:[/b] Shou Chu province guard armour. It is a cheap, not very resistant armour, decorated with markings of the Jian Dong province. It is handed over to Shou Chu's province guard when they are recruited
[/li][li]History:[/b] Zheng Xian was the son of Zheng Yang, a farmer and former Han soldier, and Mei Jing, a maid of a local province lord. His mother died shortly after he was born, giving birth to Xian's brother Zheng Chan, leaving the two brothers to be raised with a harsh education provided by their father. As the family was poor, both Xian and Chan had to learn the rigours of hard labour from their childhood to provide a sustainable income to the family. It was also during his childhood, that Xian found his long time weapon, an old worn pike, used by Yang during his service time to the Han. Another figure very present in Xian's life was Quan Zhong, a former soldier of the Han and colleague to Yang. Zhong was both Xian's and Chan's closes thing to a father figure they ever had, being more present in the siblings' lives he gave them the strength to overcome life's difficulties
During his adolescent life, Xian experienced a few love affairs, nothing entirely serious, and grew concious to the problems surrounding him. He was aware of the turmoil that swarmed the land and he grew a will to fight against the chaos, though his father did not agree with this and forbid him to ever abandon the family's home to become a soldier.
Xian never gave up his wish of being able to help others, to do something for a change and at the age of 19, Xian with the aid of Zhong was able to persuade his father to enlist in the province guard. Yang however forbid him to return home, for he understood he had become enough of a man to be able to take care of himself and gave him a few gold to be able to rent a home within the province. And so he abandoned home to go after his destiny.
