Hiei will be a reinforcement. He will only arrive once his quest, which is situated in the same place and same time, is completed.

It had finally started…
Rows of orange and yellow hues reflected off of the armour of the impeding soldiers. Their swords stained and clad with the finest of oils as bare sandals dampened the spirits of the earth beneath. Yes…Today would be a beautiful day, it would be the day the world recognised Cao Cao and his old friend Yuan Shao. It would be a day none would forget, for with him came an army of dragons, ready and willing to tear apart the beasts of the south.
He had not known it, but reinforcements were on its way. He would not know whether they were friends or foe until the swords clashed and their allegiances made known. But it did not matter, Cao Cao felt elevated today – for today was the day Pu yang would fall back within the order of the Han Empire. Today was a day of glory…
He smiled as the army made its way south, taking a break only to glance at the finely crafted set of soldiers standing behind him. They were veterans and peasants, the new and the old combined as one to stand for something beyond words, beyond dreams and idols. They stood for vengeance, for the wrath of the heavens itself, and they stood proudly for doing so.
“Today.” He started, “Today is the day Pu Yang falls by the roaring dragons of the north. Today, the turbans will feel the wrath of the Han – and I, Cao Cao – will forge through in thick blood the name of my warriors in every city wall!”
It began, and the soldiers were well prepared for it.
(Standard Marching Formation: Archers to the fore, with royal guard in the centre of the 2nd and 3rd row. Swordsmen and spearmen make up the rest of said rows with the cavalry adorning the right hand flank. Halberdiers are stationed in the centre of the royal guard line.)

Yuan Shao rode out onto the battlefield with his his two officers, Wen Chou and Yan Liang. They were at the front of a 1500 man army. The army was organised and consisted of imperial troops. Yuan Shao was in golden coloured army on a dark brown horse, he rode forward in confidence of an easy win against the turbans, after all they were only brainwashed peasants. Yuan Shao slowed down the pace of his movement and lifted his head to reveal Pu Yang, a rebel city, Yuan Shao was here along with Cao Cao to purify this land. He rode forward to address his men,
"Men of the han empire. I am Yuan Shao as you know, this should be an easy victory, these men are untrained savages at best. You are the elite! However, they have the advantage over us, due to sheer numbers and they are hauled up in a settlement, but i believe in you as you believe in me. I am so confident of a win i offer one of you a chance to be my advisor for this battle, step forward and prove yourself."
Yuan Shao waited for a man to step forward, whilst he was waiting he gave the signal to a flag carrier to signal to Cao Cao that he was ready for a battle.

A certain man had been travelling through Yanzhou with his two guards when suddenly he passed by the armies of Han, without a word they were conscripted into the ranks as if they were just anyone. They went along with it, because they had to and two of them were eager to let out a good thrashing on somebody.
These three men reached the battleground, their commander they found out was Yuan Shao, they snickered at their luck to be caught up with a high nobleman. He halted the march and called out his speech to his troops.
To his request for a advisor, one man threw back his head and laughed, his hands clasped behind his back he advacned boldly forward. Without a salutation, and overstepping his common place authority, he declared not alluding at all to his name or position, "Your speech impresses me not, but I guess I'll use this chance to show you how to win." Despite him being within the army, he wore no armour, but official robes, the hems of which were dirted from his abduction into the march of the Han army.

The Yellow Turban spotted the oncoming Han army and swiftly erupted into life. The hunters took their positions along the North facing wall and in the archer towers. The peasants, fanatics and marauders formed equally between the North, West and East gates whilst the Raider cavalry formed lines inside the North gate and prepared for a charge for when the Han army drew closer but for now they held back and waited patiently for the blood to spill upon the fields

Yuan Shao watched this man walk forward, he listened to what he said but ignored him. From on top of his horse he rode back an forth across the front line eyeing up each individual then his eyes fixed on one man.
"You. You shall lead a200 cavalry unit around to the corn field. Once the enemy has come out of the castle you shall flank them understand!? Right then, get a move on. Men Forward!"
Yuan Shao and his army marched forward so he was inline of the gate. He signalled for an archer to come forward an fire. The arrow was 150m off the wall, even with the elevation of the walls they wounldnt be able to reach Yuan. "Rise the flags and beat the drums. Let them know we are here. Chen Gong, any suggestions?"

Stroking his beard wondering how Yuan Shao had heard of his name, without him even mentioning it, he had done nothing to be worthy of the thought with his life yet; Chen Gong's thoughts were interrupted by the leader's question.
Chen Gong strode to the front of the formation and then indicating to Yuan Shao he pointed forward to the right saying, "There seems to be a small fort to the southwest. If you can occupy that you will be able to defend yourself while you launch supporting attacks for..." He paused and looking past Yuan Shao focused in on the friendly army's banner while shading his eyes from the sun, "Ah, Cao Mengde. You can support Cao Cao in his forward attack. It will also put you in a strong position in withstanding a rebel counter-attack."
To Yuan Shao's plan he quickly interjected, "You have troops heading to take position in a lush cornfield? What if the rebels have a brain cell to think of using fire? They will have sentries to spot your movements." Pausing for a brief moment and then continuing Gongtai went on, "Better to have them sit between ours and Cao's armies and support them from the back. If the enemy attacks, then swing around and outflank them." Gong, his legs getting tired from the march then sat down, his legs crossed and awaited Yuan's response.

Cao Cao accompanied Yuan Shao’s army to the fore of the keep. His men in check as meshed metal clung together through the lines of sweat and gristle. It would be a simple fight, something quick and decisive. He had no doubt that his army would win, equal or not – he believed he was better, and if he was better, so were his soldiers.
Though better, he was not vain as he watched the line of archers appear as pebbles showering the walls, no, he watched and anticipated each move with an eye of interest. He had fought the turbans once before, and had then laughed at the simplicity of their flight, but today – today he hoped it would be different – he hoped for a challenge.
He reached the open camp-line between the combined forces, and fell an eye on a minister he saw accompany his old friends camp. A strategist or perhaps a tactitioner. It did not matter; he turned to his own two men, who stood clad in the finest of armours. Who needed those of the scholarly type, he thought, when one held dear to them men of experience and tactical ability.
“Watch them as they shower the walls.” He started, his voice clear behind the rising dew of the day, “and be weary of such an adversary – for fear results in desperation, and there is no mightier foe then those who are in despair.”
His men did not return the comment; they merely shook their head in approval. They had experienced it first hand, when a man lost hope and cried their mightiest cry and just ‘went for it’. To them, living was not a problem, there was no hope behind such eyes and as a result there was no fear, no pain. Men who turned to such savage states were often without equal in war, adrenaline and instinct allowing them to shred through the ranks of professional armies. Thankfully, and with mightier armour – he had endured that state, and had turned that very barbaric nature against his enemies.
Now, he stood beyond the perimeter of his enemies watchful eye, and smiled. It was finally time.
“Turn a platoon to face Yuan Shao’s elite guard, and have them stage a front. Hail names of insult – and pray to god Yuan Shao is no fool, for this will either end with glory, or with a battle like no other.”
The regiment turned at his backing, and soon the fields turned into the clash of words. Cao Cao stood alone for a time, staring at the camp of his old rival, he would either face him, or his friend would seize the opporunity and retaliate - thus creating the belief that the han was truly crippled within it's own glorious need for self approval and power.
Maybe it would also create an opportunity for the turbans to sally out, but that - that he could only 'pray' for.

A messenger ran toward lord Cao Cao and Yuan Shao. He was breathing hard knowing that the battle was soon beginning he ran there as fast as he could. When he could finally grab his breath enough to be able to talk he said these words. "Lord Cao Cao and Lord Yuan Shao. I am here to give you a message from officer Cheng Cheng he is coming from the south as fast as he can. It might take a few moments since he is still in the regions of Wu." The messenger stayed bowed in front of the two lords waiting for the okay to leaver there sites.
(Cheng Cheng will arrive in five turn but mod if you think it will take more time then that please do not be afraid to correct me that is your job.)

Having followed Yuan Shao's forces, Hayate stayed in the back of the mass of troops so as to evade any unnecessary conversation. It was not the fact he had been mocked for the unusual name he possessed, he just had no care for forming bonds with anyone. He could just imagine the yellow scarfed zealots: the name he gave to the yellow turbans, with their religious leader.
"It's always odd to see just how faithful people can be when things don't turn out right for them..." he muttered to himself, seeming to have zoned out before a soldier looked at him and nudged him. 'Seirei, are you alright?' the soldier asked, and the former nodded.
"I'm fine...And just call me Hayate...I may not know how the rest of the world has their names said, but I'd prefer to maintain my family's style.." he replied, looking at the sky. The heavens spin...like a cycle, they go around endlessly...And so do we, even if we are human...we share this trait with the heavens.. he thought and stopped only when the forces stopped to listen to their leader. Smiling a bit at his enthusiasm, the warrior simply stayed silent out of respect.
