Name: Sun Shang Xiang
Age: 18
Residence: Wandering, no fixed location as of yet.
Appearance:
Shang Xiang is of average height for a women in Han. Her skin is lucid and pale with a few tiny scars on her upper arms. Her face is tiny and framed by short chocolate brown hair while from the bottom a long ponytail reaches the small of her back . Her eyes are almost the same color as her hair a light chocolate brown. Shang Xiang being a young women is filled in fairly well and curved, but her muscles well toned from the training she received as a young girl and the training she still does.
Shang Xiang dresses in traditional Chinese garb, elegant robes of bright colors such as red, organge, yellow green and gold. When in battle, her clothes are less loose and are much tighter so she is not slowed down. She relied mostly on speed and so her clothes can be seemingly revealing.
Personallity: Headstrong and stubborn, Shang Xiang is a women who is independent and will do what she feels she must do. While she is capable of thinking rationally, she prefers doing what she feels like is more fun. In other words, sparring with guards rather than acting like a proper lady. Despite this trait, she is still able to keep a level head in battle and while she isn't the most intelligent in the world, she is not a complete idiot and can make well thought out moves in battle.
Shang Xiang is loyal to the end. She is loyal to her family and her friends and to the people she serves. While no longer a fighting with her father, she still maintains a good relationship with her father and brothers and is her family will always come first. This has made those loyal to Liu Bei doubt her loyalty, but she doesn’t feel like she has to prove herself anymore for her battles will do that for her.
Weapon: Chakrams: More commonly knows as Fire and Wind Wheels. Short and mid ranged weapon which is her fundamental weapon in battle. She always has these two strapped to her sides and they are fairly light which helps in her main focus of speed.
When the enemy is out of range, Sun Shang Xiang uses her bow and arrow for those far, however when they are near her, the bow becomes unused and Shang Xiang reverts to using her chakrams
Weapon Strengths: The Chakrams are great for blocking weapons such as lighter weight swords, daggers and even poled. They are light weight so blows are done at a more faster rate rate. Her weapons ranges from short to mid range and if one is thrown, the other one is more than capable to do the work.
Her bow and arrow is great for taking out the enemy before they get close, a long range weapon that can take down many men when arrows and continuously shot.
Weapon Weaknesses: Chakrams are weak against weapons that are much heavier such as halberds so attempting to block would be foolish and detrimental to Sun Shang Xiang. Also, if she is to throw the chakram, it must be retrieved and while one chakram is good, both is the point of the weapon for together they can block more. Chakrams light weight also means it isn't the strongest weapon offensively.
A bow and arrow can easily miss especially with natural circumstances such as high or low altitudes, wind speed and direction etc. Also, if the enemy is too close, there is a chance of harming your own people which can be detrimental to the trust and the moral within your force.
Armour: Sun Shang Xiang prefers to wear light weight armor such as leather paddings. Metal is only found as arm guards for she needs to be protected where she holds her weapons. Her breast padding is thick leather, while her legs are also covered in such leather. Sometimes, Shang Xiang uses little to no armor depending on what her task is. When her task is to be defensive, she is in very light to no armor, when offensive, sometimes her leather padding can be switched for lighter weight metal.
History: Sun Shang Xiang is the younger, sister of Sun Ce and Sun Quan. From a young age she showed more interest in battling, warfare and weaponry while other girls her age where being raised as proper ladies. While it was frowned down on for girls to train, Sun Jian allowed his daughter to battle and train and was eventually granted her own unique weapons, a pair of fire and wind wheels. Being an expert bowmen and a versatile fighter, Shang Xiang grew up helping her father in more defensive positions. When she turned 18, she craved for more offensive battling, begging her father to be put in the front lines of battle, but he refused, not wanting to put his daughter in such a situation. For this, Shang Xiang told her father she was going to go find someone who will. At first he was going to forbid her from leaving, but Shang Xiangs mother said that perhaps it was time Shang Xiang was let out into the real world. Hearing of a humble man, Sun Shang Xiang located and joined the ranks of Liu Bei. While technically under Liu Bei, Shang Xiang doesn't enjoy staying in one place for long and on occasion travels to far off lands to see the world beyond the one she was raised on.
Other details: I should be less than 2 years old, but shhh, let's just look away and pretend this is all a figment of your imagination.
