First Meeting/Lee Shang

[Zhou Yu]

The day was ending on what had been an eventful day for Zhou Yu dealing with matters of the state some of which he took a disliking to but it was part of his job to deal with matters such as this. He then begins to walk along the streets of Chen Liu, the state of them was untidy to say the least but the people living here seemed to like it so why force them to accept something new that would be like forcing them to accept a new ruler.

Yu was browsing the stores looking for some new parts for his flute, which had broke by mistake Yu never left home without it and this was the only place to get the wood he needed for the repairs. The stores where all buzzing with activity which was odd for this time of the day, the wind was quite furious as if heavens knew something was going to happen that would change the world as people knew it.

As he, drawled closer to the store that had the Equipment that he required for his flute a young girl caught his eye if only for a moment as she slinked back in to the busy streets of Chen Liu. His eyes returned looking towards the the owner of the shop and he then began to ask. “ Excuse me but im looking for a certain type of wood for my flute, due to its out of tune at moment and I can’t play it in its present state.” His mind still set on that young girl he saw out in the streets

[Lee Shang]

Lee Shang adjusting her bow in the city trying to make it stronger in strength since it was not well adjusted. She was still in her corner looking at the people. The guards was still watching her since she was not a known member of any army and could be one that worked for Zhang Liao.

The guards was looking all around. They always watched Lee Shang and some of them just want to kill her just in case that she is planning to attack lord Cao Cao. With both guard right at the entrance of both store they are making sure that she does not leaver there were they cannot see her.

Lee Shang got up and shot her bow three time at the target that was made with the materiel that she found in the north forest of this location. She shoot three times the two first was a bit to much on the left side of the target but the third shot was in the death center of the target.

[Zhou Yu]

After time had passed while the city elder fixed Zhou’s flute that same girl, the one he saw only moments before entering the shop came into view it would seem she was somehow managing to draw all the guards to her. Who was this girl and why did the guards seem to latch onto her like feeding time at the local zoo, Zhou was not about to stand around and let a girl get harassed by common foot soldiers.

With that, he begins to walk towards the young girl the guard unaware that Zhou was moving towards them, they were keeping their Distance, which meant she could handle herself in a fight a quality that his lord and friend Cao Cao would surely be looking for, He approached the guards and begins to speak saying.

“How dare you harass this girl you should be ashamed of your self’s, do you know who you’re talking to soldier im the great Zhou Yu and you all know the rank I hold within this army, so if you do not wish to find yourself in jail return to your duties at once.” With that, Yu walks up to the young girl and begins to speak saying.

“Im so sorry about the guards in this city they seem to think that own the place, my name is Zhou Yu and i serve lord Cao Cao, may I enquire to who you may be young lady, as it would be rude not to Introduce yourself after I did.” He smiles and waited for the girls answer with a smile.

[Lee Shang]

She placed her bow back on her back without saying a word to make him think. She looked at the good looking person that looking at her. She herd of the name of Zhou Yu wen she was with her farther in the country ruled by Yuan Shao. She knew that he was a known strategist that was not shy to show his great strategies.

Lee Shang went back to site down and grabbed a bottle that was in her bag that she had next to her little body and took a good drink trying to make her self a bit more comftorble and also a bit more drunk to forget the bad things that the young man might wanted to do to her. She did not trust him she knew that guys always protect girls for selfish reason knowing that is not always the case she decided to answer his question.

"My name is Lee Shang the daughter of the blacksmith Lee Bu. I am glad to meet a known warrior of strategies as your self." She acted like she did trust him without saying that he did or did not trust her in the same reason. She took another drink but she then ran out of the alcohol that she had. She placed her bottle back in her little bag that she travels with.

She then look at Yu and looked at his little flute that made her smile. "How do you fight when you travel with a flute as you weapon or am I not seeing the weapon correctly?" She was trying to be friendly but she was nervous on what the warrior would want to do with her since he saved her from nobody knows what.

[Zhou Yu]

Yu smiled as Lee began to feel more at ease with the guards gone, this girl was a rare case indeed she seemed to be more scared off him then the guards is Zhou Yu that scary but none the less he watched and observed the girls moments and the way she was sitting trying to get a reading on her.

After a few moments of deep thought Yu decided to speak but got cut off by the young girl who decided to speak not letting Yu get any words in, he listened very closely to what she said about her family, sounds like she had quite the life before she arrived in Chen Liu.

She also asked him a question about how he fights with a flute, if only she knew what this meant to him. Something people have come to fear on the field of battle and the sound of it would strike fear into the very hearts of the enemies and allies, with that he begins to speak saying.

“ You seem to believe I fight with this flute, you are right but I use this to strike fear into the hearts of my lords enemies, it is a symbol something the men can rally around and be at peace when they hear it. But I use my brains to fight and my sword may i sit the next round is on me.”

[Lee Shang]

Lee Shang looked at the man that does not seem like he wants to hurt her or even take advantage of her little heart that she has behind her rib cage. She was there looking at his eyes being able to tell that he is not sure what he thinks but her reading might be off like it is normally off. She got up but fell back down and hit her head on the house.

She sat back up and she can see that she drank a little to much. She looked at him and then looked at the ground and wonders what will happen. She had a tear in her eye that makes her seem like a confuse person that does not know what her future hold. She grabbed her spear and place it were she can have access to her weapon if she really needs it.

Lee Sheng did not know what the man will do with her. She knew that he had a reason to come to her but the question is why. Will he do as she think and try to take advantage of a girl just because she does not want to go to jail and that is the only way she can stay out of it or will he help her find a place that she can go like a inn or something like that.

Lee Sheng looked at him and decided just go ahead and ask him the question. "What are you going to do with me? I know there is a reason why you got those guards to leave me alone and that always come with a catch so please tell me what it is." She closed her eyes scared of the answer he will say.

[Zhou Yu]

Yu smiled at the girl once again, how could she think he was going to take advances of her he just wanted to make sure she was safe in this city many people had fallen prey to death in the streets Chen Liu, with that he speaks saying to her. “Don’t worry im not planning to do anything with you i just want to make sure you get to see Cao Cao unharmed as I wish to join him. So tell me what made you decide to come here and seek an Audience with Lord Cao Cao there are many other fine lords out there, but im glad you decided to go down the same path as I have chosen we can carve out a new path for are lord Cao Cao and bring peace back to to this land that has lost it.

[Lee Shang]

She looks at him confused. She was trying to figure out if there are people really this nice without wanting something in return for his service. She then got back up holding her spear and started to fix the blade of the great spear that she uses as her main weapon for choice in close battle.

"I do not want to offend you but I am not really interested in joining the army of you liege seeing that I am not train for battle." She looks at him and when she finished repairing her weapon she sat back down looking at his eyes and tries to give him a little smile to make him fell more secure.

"My dreams would be to join a army and help them rule the land under there banner and be named one of his best or her best warriors." She then looked down at her feet and a small tear fell down on the ground making a small puddle that was made with the tear she had drop in the few last minutes.

"I just wished that if I do join a army that my parents would understand fully you know?" She looked back at him trying to smile but she was not known for these things . "My farther still see me as his little princess that cannot protect herself I just want to prove him wrong and live my life the way I want to live it."

[Zhou Yu]

He smiled at the girls comment once more and carried on talking soon after she had stopped. “Well you may not have a choice if it is true what the stars have told me then you may find yourself serving a lord very soon, whether it be Lord Cao Cao or one of the others out there, the choice is yours and yours alone, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

In addition, your mother and father are only looking out for you, letting their only child go to war would break any one heart but you can live your life knowing you are keeping your family is one thing we all must fight to protect.

I have a friend called Sun Ce sadly I left the force he was in without telling him, I do miss the times we spent watching the stars when we were kids but I the believe we may be on opposing sides but are friendship will stand for the rest of time its self.

[Lee Shang]

Lee Shang lay down on the grass spot close to the location of the target that she shot at. She looked at the clouds in the sky and smiled. Seeing the eagle that guided her in everything that she decided and did in the past of her life. The eagle of the clouds was for her the god of the eagles that decided to show the way for her to live in the world.

"Officer Zhou Yu, I believe that is the correct way to address a great officer and strategist as your self, do you really believe that lord Cao Cao will keep the promises he did in the past?" The Eagle was not showing the way of the army in wei but was not going the opposite like she did not have enough information for it to decide the next move that she will make in her path of greatness.

She then got up and then pick up the stuff to sharpen the blade of her spear and works once again on her weapon. She ignored everything for a few minutes and she stopped working on her weapon having a sort of thought that she saw the eagle in her mind.

"Look Zhou Yu I will be honest" She then bit her lower lip trying to think about how to say the words that she wants to say to the male that was in front of her. "I think that you look" She stall for a few minutes trying to find the right word to say without going to far with the thought. " I believe you look like a wonderful person in both looks and the great personality."

[Zhou Yu]

Yu was surprised at what the young girl had said, he knew he was good looking, but for someone to call him out on it caught him off guard with that he listens to lee speaking about could Cao Cao live up to the mark he then returns a nod and speaks saying to the young girl. “I don’t know but in the times to come he will be find himself Bering tested and if his resolve his not correct he could fall from grace, like anyone could.

“And thank you for the comment to be honest I never spoken to a girl like you, you seem Unique and that’s one thing I like about you, and you to are very wonderful person, and i would like to get to know you a little more, if you would do me the Horner of allowing me to take you to dinner, i know this prefect place down by the Sea front that overlooks the royal palace. He offers his hand to the girl giving her the option to refuse or deny the invite

[Lee Shang]

She looked at him with the hand was toward her and he was there with a small smile asking her out for some food close to a good view location made her think for a few moments. She knew that she was interested in the person in the way that he is asking him but was he thinking in the same way or was he just trying to play a game with her little already damaged heart.

She then looked up at the sky at the clouds seeing the eagle that she always follow for advice going toward a human made out of cloud. The signals from the great eagle of the sky was signaling her to go out with the man that just asked her and that made her smile.

"I would be honored to join you for a small meal." She then started to think when would be the best time to go out under the clouds and the sun looking at the great view after dark to watch the stars like Yu previously said he like to do. "I believe the best time to eat together might be when the stars come out since you said you enjoyed looking at them during the night and I want to share that small pleasure."

Lee Shang then sat back down at her little spot and rest her head on the bag she had with her that had the stuff for her weapons and everything that was made with heavy cloth to be comfortable. "If you do not mind I was getting a bit tired having a long day and did not sleep for the past few days." She then closed her eyes and fell asleep even do Yu was still there.

[Zhou Yu]

Yu smiled as the girl began to fade deep into the realms off sleep even if it was in the middle of the town that has a security issue, but he could leave the girl there and let the heavens watch over her or he could stay close by to make sure no harm comes to her well she sleeps, being the honest and caring man he is he decides to stay with her well she sleeps she reminded him of young girl he use to know when he was a child she died soon after but he never forgot her.

“Sleep well Miss Lee, I won’t let any harm come to you well you are with me but why did you decide to sleep here there are places you may sleep that have beds and not just an open field,” She reminded him so much of his child hood friend it was almost creepy but he was not about to allow such a young girl to sleep here alone, even if it meant staying up all night and keeping watch.”
