I'm for the bottom three. Reading through some of your battles they all appear to be someone in a walled city defending an invasion. A bit repeditive...

I think we need a mix of all of these. Too much of just one is boring for everyone.
Still i would prefer a tactical fight. Although since iv not had the chance yet i want someone to siege me so i can show everyone how it should be done.

I took "Large Open Battle" bcoz it makes me feel the spirits of War XD
kinda, but Tactical ones are confusing you got to go in a puzzle way and make your moves quick otherwise you will get surrounded by at least four generals and you got to beat them in their own base, now that's unfair I mean its like that battle to Save Cao Xiu in that fort with no help but the Chimp Cao Xiu himself (no offense Cao Xiu is a great man but he should have took some generals with him there.)

I am unsure...the only way to find out about people's preferences is to try each of them out lol

I have to say tactical battle. You never know what you are going to get when you are in one of those battles. If you want to live, you have to stay alert at all times.

I personally prefer duels, because I prefer not to kill someone, unless it's absolutely unavoidable. But with fighting to the death, you do get a better synopsis of your opponents' personal fighting style, their critical thinking skills, and their level of imagination. I believe this is all due in large part to their characters' very existence being at stake. I just wish that people would realize that roleplaying your characters' personality is almost as equally important as how you roleplay their battling prowess. It assists in their development, making the character extensively more convincing.

My favorite type of battle is where the enemy is tied up to the wall and try to fight by kicking, and my army gets to hack them up into pieces with really long spears.

Those aren't duels either, Duels in DW4 were entirely caged in arena's where you fought to the death, Here all you had to do in a duel if you were losing was jump into the enemy.
