Weapon:
Weapon Strengths: Amazing for use from horseback. Specializes in stabbing and sweeping motions. Excellent for wrenching opponent's weapons from them. 6 feet long.
Weapon Weaknesses: Once inside cutting radius, the effectiveness of the weapon is diminished. However the staff can still be used to bash an opponent.
Secondary Weapon:
Strengths: At 4 and a half feet, the Dao is excellent for slashing and stabbing in quarters closer than what is used for the Crescent Spear. Can be wielded with a single hand. Usually worn on Bai T'seng's hip belt, either on the right or left side, depending on where he secures the scabbard.
Weaknesses: Beyond its range, it is useless.
Armour: Chinese Iron plate mail along high-risk areas. Iron helmet , vambraces, greaves, etc. Padding underneath breast plate to reduce damage done by bashing weapons. Lesser amounts of padding underneath armor on thighs and arms to prevent arrow penetration that would otherwise cripple him.
History: Maintains a living as a mercenary captain around the area of Wan. And until now has had difficulties securing clients. Bandits increasingly became a problem across the Eastern Han in the years before the Yellow Scarves rebellion. While engaged in defending merchant caravans from marauders Bai T'seng was enticed to join the local lord of Wan by the owner of the caravan. The merchant later revealed himself to be the governor's director of commerce on assignment to deliver high-risk cargo in the form of gold and silver ingots to the Han capital of Luo Yang. Impressed with his fighting abilities, he offered T'seng a position in the governor's regime. After accepting this appointment on behalf of the governor's director of commerce he ascended the ranks quickly to a position of field general. At the start of the uprising he was involved in putting down several small insurrections, until finally the main Scarve's forces came to assault Wan. Due to his lord's incompetence in allocation of troops, and his lord's overconfidence, they were defeated by a mass of peasant-soldiers and fanatics. While the coward ran to the city walls to weather out the attack, T'seng was left on the outside, forced to flee as over-whelming numbers of rebels swarmed the walls. He has since taken up residence at Xin Ye, and gone back to captaining mercenaries in the hopes that the rebellion will provide plenty of work.
