Proving His Worth

[Yuan Ji]

Yuan Ji arrive at the region of the battle from the forest side. She was sitting on the tree watching the fight close enough to see who would be better then the other to promote and being like a talent scout as well. The Drill sergeant was obviously a intruder of another army since that no one would dare to fight another officer for no reason like this.

She was ready with her bow just in case the warrior of Shao army named Kong Rou was a failure in his battle and the other tried to enter and killed lord Yuan Shao. She knew that Kong Rou was a talented warrior even do that her father did not wish to treat him as such. The other warrior was still unknown to her the identity of him even by seeing the skill of the warrior.

Her presence was not really to see her in this time. She was well hidden in the branches and the leaf of the tree that she was sitting in. The only thing you could really see that you could even know it would be her is that you can see the head shape arrow holder of the bow that was aiming at the unknown warrior's head. The rest of her body and weapon was really well hidden behind it.

She knew that Kong Rou was winning the battle but she was not sure if the other warrior will be able to dodge his enemy and kill Officer Kong. She was still watching as closely that is really possible. She also saw the swing that almost cut Kong Rou head right off his body.

[Cao Cao]

"This battle is not worth my life. You win, I don't see how Yuan Shao can't respect you. You are a great warrior."Zhi then slowly got up, not standing on his broken leg, Zhi bowed at the man. He then turned around and then began to hop away. Hoping the man would let him leave. Deep inside, Zhi felt ashamed of himself and for the first time in awhile, Zhi began to slowly cry because of the faliure he had become. He had brought shame to himself and the people of Wu.

[Yuan Ji]

Yuan Ji gets down from the tree with the bow on her back. She walks toward the warrior that was mocking the Yuan Shao force. "You there, stop!" She walks at him and looks at the face of the warrior and he was not a warrior she knew. "What is your name warrior?" She looked at him waiting for the answer to her question and then she asked him. "What army do you serve?" She stood there knowing that the man was a warrior in Wu or the yellow turban the only two known enemy of the Shao force's.

After she stopped talking to the man and got the most of the information that she needed. She signaled for a horse from the city. The male horse was running fast next to them and it was ready for being mounted. "You may take this horse to go back at your home." She then watched him leave with the horse she gave him.

Yuan Ji walks toward Hang Dou. She looks at the man and smiled wondering why her father did not respect the man. "Greeting warrior of Yuan force, I am Yuan Ji the daughter of Yuan Shao." She stopped talking for a few moment waiting to see his reaction with her words. She wants to know who he was and why her father did not respect him did not make sense after that battle.

"What is your name sir?" She then stopped talking and waited for his respond. The sky was starting to get dark since the night was coming after that long fight. She called for her own horse that was called golden darkness. The horse was covered with gold armor like a war horse and it was black as much as night sky.

[Kong Rou]

Kong Rou became lost as time stood still as he stared enchated by this visage of beauty. Yuan Shao's daughter would surely be known as a wonder.

Stumbling to find the correct words. Wether it was the blood loss from the battle or the utter shock of such a sight he was not sure. Rou became further ensnared in her trap.

" I- I am Kong Rou M'lady. Your fathers newest recruit. I apologize you had to see that mess a few moments ago. I assure you, whatever his true intentions may have been... They've changed now."

Rou dared a bow but the pain was too severe, he dropped to a knee instead.

"I'm sorry for not showing the proper respects, it seems he caught me a little cleaner than I first anticipated. Thats what the heat of battle does to you no?"

Rou then went from kneeling to fully sitting.

"Princess if it is not too much trouble, could you please fetch our Lord and a doctor, he needs to know of the recent events here, and I'm afraid I'm getting dizzy."

The world around Rou began to shift and swirl, he would soon lose conscienceness. Lady Ji's image however, remained untianted. If she was the last image in the young warriors eyes, he would accept any fate.

[Yuan Ji]

Yuan Ji looked at Kong Rou and kneel down and lift his face and looked at his eyes seeing that he was loyal to her father. The pain the recruiter was having might of been a lot worst then she first believed. "Lets get that armor of you to get a look of your injuries young officer." She helps him getting rid of the armor of the warrior and throws it beside Kong Rou. She then examine the injuries in silent making sure that they not have any piece of metal that stayed in him.

She then got stuff from her bag. It was a kit made by the force doctor to give her while she traveled and she still had the full kit and also knew how to use it. She first took the stitches made from the things she had. "This may hurt a bit but do not hit me" She said with a small smile on her lips. She began to stitch up the wound of her ally. She was going slow to make sure not making the situation worst like she was scared to do with a handsome warrior like himself.

After she finished stitching up the serious wounds she started to put the bandages over it so it would stay in place. She was doing it even better then the doctor since she was actually taking her sweet little time. She also knew that it would hurt the young warrior that was still older then her but she did not have a choice to make sure he survive these injuries. She then finished the whole thing up and place it back in her bag and gets up and place it on her back. "Well that should cover the wound"

She then grabs the young man helping him up as much as she could and keep him on his two feet walking toward back the kingdom. "We are not going to tell father about this or he will be mad at you for getting yourself hurt" There is a guard that showed up running toward them and helped her bring Kong Rou in the secure wall of the kingdom and continue going toward there destination of the stair of the palace where she will try to convince him to rest.

[Kong Rou]

Kong Rou struggled to regain his composure and then spoke.

"Princess, I am a soldier in your fathers army. It is my duty to report all happenings to him, please. If that man was from another force, we must alert your father... Who knows what evil I have done today."

Struggling to move, Rou released himself from the womans presence and made his way back to the palace. Yuan Shao must know of the actions here today.
