It has been a few days since the warrior has taken a decent bath, after all he has been getting information on cities for his elder brother Burai. Well for the most part anyway, he did his job but it wasn't as boring. This was because he ended up drinking with a man call Zhi Fang, flirted with the lovely Da Qiao, which might end with a bite in the ass later, and sparred with Yelena of Wu. So he couldn't say it was the most boring job in the world. But being so busy it has been forever since he has been able to relax, the thing he most loved to do. So he traveled out the city of Wu, to avoid the hassle and rush of the city life. He need a place, quiet and far from the trouble of down to earth life. But before he could just leave, he bought himself tea and food for his trip all enclosed in a bucket and wrapped in cloth to hold.
After an hour of quiet walking he arrived to an amazing lush forest, filled with chirping birds, high trees that cover the hot sun, and as he continued more and more into the forest. He found a peaceful waterfall and surrounding it a pond. Before he did any thing he closed his eyes, to take in all of the scenery by listening the calm sound of the waterfall, sounds of birds and other animals communicating with each other, and the soft cooling breeze that blew through the leaves of the trees and against his hot and sweaty skin. To him this was the feeling of true and whole peace. There were no murmurs of gossips, no lies of human nature, screams of pain in war. It was just him and nature, he took a moment to stretch out his body and let out a loud but relaxed yawn.
He stripped down and left his clothes to hang in a nearby bush, and for a while relax in the cold water before cleaning himself off. He dried himself off with out a care in the world, putting on only his lower robe, being able reveal his tattoo that went down his spine and sitting under a patch of sun the gleamed through the tree leaves. It was warm with a cool breeze, a very nice feeling. It gave him time to actually think, he traced the scars on his face, he let out a soft sigh. He thought of his red eyes and how most though of him as a demon, he let out a groan. He thought of his late wife Gao Xia, he buried his face in his knees in his of self hatred for not being able to protect her. 'This void in my heart will never be filled. I have only my brother and lady Anrui.' He thought.
His thoughts of his brother and Anrui motivated him to live out his life. And so for their sake, he didn't want them to worry, he engorged himself in the taste of many other women. But it still help the void. He sat straight him making taking out a cup of tea and taking a small sip of it. Since he assumed no one to be around he began to talk out loud to himself. "So China forgot about the demon brother now huh? It seems, we have to remind them who we are soon." He said with a light sigh. "I do hope that it will be fun."

If you can't hold yourself together
why should I HOLD you now?
Zhilan had grown bored, she'd been thinking about things alot more then she usually did. Something in her was not that content and somehow she was not able to put her finger on it. Her mother was safe and that was what counted for her... yet even with that peaceful thought somehow she was not happy. Then again her life had been controlled for as long as she could remember, a part of her could not help but wonder if she really just used that as some kind of excuse to hold herself back in life.
No one really kept her intrest anymore, all that she did now was more out of obligation then anything. It was all because of the role that she played. Really though she told herself not to think about it after all her father knowing him would cut whatever tie he had to her at anytime he wished. For him, his daughter was strickly just another part of his business. Even then though he had to keep her hiden, it was rare for anyone to ever see her face, to see the girl who hide behind all of it. That also meant that people had to judge her strickly by who she was and really they could not base it much off looks. Zhilan was thankful for that she had to admit.
For now though she found herself having the one thing that she had never really gotten use to. Time alone and somehow it was so glorious. Zhilan really hated that ship, something about being stuck on that ship made her cringe at the thought of it, immediately when she was asked if she would like some freetime on the land she jumped at the chance. It was so much more peaceful and somehow the problems of the world did not matter in this forest. All that mattered was how the flowers blossomed and how the vines lightly wrapped around each other tightly. All that mattered in this place was the trees and the plants, humanities problems seemed to be left somewhere far away.
Eventually she came across a beautiful waterfall, her red hair in a ponytail as she lightly brushed a few leaves out of it letting them float off her finger tips. She was a intresting person to look at, long legs though there where boots on them but they were flat and had no heel to them. A skirt lightly hugged her hips with a top adoring her to finish it off. There was in fact a cloth that covered up the lower part of her face, her eyes visible about the only park that was not, her nose and down. It was a curious thing to look at, a women hidden away from the rest of the world then again her father decided that would be best. He kept her hiden away from the rest of the world.
Hearing a voice though shortly after she ran a hand threw her red hair lightly, she spun on her heels a bit paranoid for a moment as to who would be behind her. Though when she turned around with her hands on her bow, somehow she relaxed herself slightly. It was just some man drinking his tea and she certainly doubted that he meant any kind of harm towards her. "Frankly I've never heard of these demon brothers" Zhilan said her eyes peering at him, making sure to keep her distance after all she could never be to careful. Zhilan never really had trust anyone before so she figured it was probably to late to start now.
"Though a man sitting in his robes in such a peaceful place and not even thinking about the defense of himself does not strike me as any kind of demon" it was obvious she had a smart mouth. Zhilan was blunk, no part of her said that she was trying to joke around with him in the least bit, hands rested lightly on her hips. Most of her face was covered but her eyes shined brighter then the stars at night, a hiden determination shined in them. It almost appeared as though they were gems, regardless of the fact that she was always so serious. Never was anything just for fun it was all about the job that she had to complete. People were just people to her, no emotional attachments to any of them well maybe just a few but she would never tell anyone.
After all, the ice queen wasn't meant to have a heart.

He sipped his tea peacefully, continuing to gather his own thoughts in his mind. Then he heard sounds of movements in the trees, he quickly check his options, whether or not pick up his blades and get into an aggressive stance, merely try and walk away or to peacefully sit on the ground. Seeing as he came out here for the enjoyment of the peace and serenity of this specific area he wasn't going to pick a fight if the sound were a person or a bunny for that matter. And he was already feeling a bit relaxed so he didn't have the excessive need to move. He kept his focused with his eyes close to the harmonic sound of the waterfall as the warmth of the sunlight hit his tanned skin, the smell of pure nature in the air, this was the most serene feeling he had in a very long time.
"Frankly I've never heard of these demon brothers" A female voice called out, it seemed that he wasn't isolated from human contact after all, his entire image of natures beauty was cracked and the feeling of peace broken. Due to the voice of a very impolite woman. He takes another sip of his cooled down tea then let out a soft sigh. She just proved his point, they have forgotten about him and his brother, it was time to return themselves as some of the most fear warriors of china. He lightly itched his nose with thought, slightly bored with her already. From the words she had chose and the tone of her voice she was more than likely an over spoken woman with quite the smart mouth on her. But that was only an assumption he wasn't going to completely judge her on a few lousy words, hopefully he was wrong. So he merely kept to himself and took another sip of tea.
Unfortunately that just wasn't the case. "Though a man sitting in his robes in such a peaceful place and not even thinking about the defense of himself does not strike me as any kind of demon" She said bluntly. He supposed that he did like the honesty that came out of her mouth, but what he didn't like the tone that came from her. With her tone and choice of words, made him think she was royalty being about to speak her mind whenever possible with little to no consequence. Or she could of been sheltered from the entire world not know the pains of the over spoken woman. Most people in general wouldn't take that type of talk, in most cases neither would he, granted he had grown used to Anrui's tone thought she never spoke her body language said otherwise.
He rested his face on a hand and a knee on his armored thigh, his armor hidden under his lower robes. He takes a drink of his tea once more and again letting out a soft and quiet sigh. With each quiet sigh he lightly forces expands his body in a stretch to keep him in his laid back mood. He has been a very long time for him to be able to actually act like this. He was very outgoing in public and around his brother, but was a very laid back person in private. She just caught him in mid-relaxant there was no way in hell he was going to give it up by acting like his usually self. He slowly turn his head and looked over over at her, his eyelids mostly closed to hide his demonic red eyes. His eye put fear and discontent to most people. And despite her attitude towards him last thing he wanted was a woman running through the forest screaming thinking she saw a monster. Which might involve more people and it would all be dramatic and most annoying.
At least that is the reaction he is used to getting by people on the first impression. Most people would run away if he charged, but from her tone, she might act differently, especially thinking she was safe with a bow. Despite her already obvious distance between them, the bow is only as dangerous as it's user. And with the average reload time after firing a shot is 5 to 8 seconds under pressure of an opponent. She remained, on impression, a non-lethal threat to him, thought still might attack. Maybe if he acted nice she might lose interest and just prance off somewhere else. He gave her a light grin. "Always eavesdropping into people's conversations with themselves in the forest?' He said expecting something blunt or sarcastic from her mouth. Then quickly asked, "Care for a cup of tea, having company is rather nice." Also expecting her to decline and walk off, he made himself out as someone easy to topple over, no real game to be played. She looked like a person who would stop caring if they were too nice to her. Hopefully this was the case.
