Catch Up, Pirates Ways(Rui)

[Wei Ning]

~Wei Ning~

~Wei smirks softly as he boarded the ship and nods to the men as they worked. He moved towards the captains quarters and hoped he'd catch Rui or Ken in there. Seems they needed to catch up.~

~Upon entering he didn't see anyone anyhow, but he figured he'd wait for a bit in thought. He moved along the caban taking in the sites the two men had within it. "Heh, quite the collectors these two are." Wei said softly towards himself and took a seat quietly.~

~He pushed his cup up along the table and filled it gently, He'd hoped Rui wouldn't mind Wei taking a little rum for himself as he took drinks slowly awaiting for the two or one of the two to come in so they could catch up on whats going on with the ship and whom, shall be paying them for their deeds.~

[Tsuki (Ancient One)]

Rui had been down in the lower decks of the ships dealing with one of the crew members who had been wounded whilst working when one of the ropes snapped and had a large piece of wood on the end and resulted in a deep wound within the man's side. The man had been patched up and seemed fine now so was given the time to recover.

Rui headed back up onto the deck and washed the blood from his hands before walking towards his quarters. He pushed the door open and looked at Wei Ning. "Hey Wei. Long time no see." Rui spoke as he took a seat at the table and sighed. He started to pick off the last of the dried blood on his hands before he noticed that the other pirate was into the drink. Rui didn't mind. "Hey, pour me a drink will ya? How have you been?" Rui spoke before chuckling a little.

~Wei blinks as he looked up to see Rui come in, and nods a bit towards him in greeting. "How are ya doin Rui? I'm sure all goes well?" Wei asked conserned as he picked up another glass and poured some rum into it.~

~He slides the glass across the table and looks upon Rui in thought. "Heh, not to terribly long. not bad though, just curious on any updates going on? Anything ya need help with?" Wei asked as he took another drink softly.~

[Tsuki (Ancient One)]

Rui smiled softly and caught the drink before drinking a well needed sip. He laid the cup down and looked at Wei Ning. "The region of Hui Ji belongs to us now. We finally have a home and a place of income. I will be sorting out your new rank soon enough so your pay should increase very soon my dear friend." Rui spoke, chuckling lightly.

"So what have you been up to since we last sat and spoke?" Rui asked as he relaxed into the chair and continued to drink the rum down. It was now clear that Rui had past the stage of being a child and had become a true adult. His actions and attitude towards life were rapidly changing and he was becoming less of a bandit of the seas and more along the lines of a true warrior and leader.

~Wei smirked a bit as he took another sip himself before looking back towards Rui and nods a bit. "Well, seems we are doing quite well then." He said as he let himself lean back a bit more comfertablely. His hues wander about a bit at Rui's question~

~"well, a pass needed to be defended, and well i am in the process of forming my defence, heh Dong Zhuo was helping but he seemed to of ran off, so its quite interesting on how it'll play out." Wei's words sounded slightly dull at this, he was frusterated, slightly. The pass has been fortified for quite some time now.~

~"So, how have you been doing then Lord Rui, a good term or ya have somethin else in mind my friend?"~

Rui sighed seeing that Wei Ning was having all the fun. "Man... you get all the fun. I've been stuck in Hui Ji trying to chase off government officials who want to shut us down. Though technically it was on official Han paper that I took the city through politics. I can certainly see a fight coming up sooner or later from that guy Lu Bu." Rui replied giving a heavy sigh.

"That guy attacked Kouji and left the kid in a really bad state." Rui leaned forward over the table and stared into his cup as he remembered the way Kouji looked after the attack. Rui couldn't stand the idea of having his crew being harmed so having Kouji in such a condition was a major wound for Rui.

"We may have to work upon making allies with Sun Jian and opening up trade between our cities. This way we have a line of defense against the other warriors of the Han. Liu Bei is hopefully on our side already but it's difficult to monitor."
