Visiting a Zone of past war

[Cao Song]

The weather was cloudy but not to badly. The sun was well hidden behind the great clouds but the rain was most likely never come. The land was still in a disaster were Cao Song was visiting. There was a few tents that was broken and some were in fire. The camp fire was in the middle was never used in the last few years. The trees were all green with the leaves which was different.

Cao Song was there with a few of his men that he served with in those time that always stayed under there leading officer Cao Song. Cao Song was on one knee and touching the dirt with a small smile on his face. The troops that he bring to go on a trip of the past wars that he fought in. The smile of his face was a bit smaller then the moment from when he first were in the land. He got up after that and looked around once more and still has the small smile that he had after the first moment that they came back to the location.

The spearman was talking to each other some of them that were there during that battle were in the same place as the officer cause they remember it as the first time that the officer they followed all these times made his true first battle and remember how great he fought. The ones that were not there in those times were confuse and walking around there location to make sure nothing would attack them while they are in the past.

Cao Song the stopped remembering his first great battle. He began looking at the forest and then looked at the sky watching the first falcon then he saw during this day. The falcon was really looking for his pray for the food he would eat during the day. It was the time that people were looking at the sky and was grabbing some of the food they placed in there bag. Cao Song was decided to take a walk without the rest of the troop in the forest.

The spearman were starting a fire so they can keep them selves warm during the night and hope's that Cao Song would not be in danger while he went for his walk. None of the guards knew why there officer went to the woods for a small walk but they did not want to follow just in case he wanted the privacy that he came to the forest with them in the first place for.

Cao Song was walking in the forest looking around seeing some of the trees that were scratched by weapons during the time of the battle against those bandits that attacked the lands. He then turned around and looked at a little rabbit that was hopping around a tree and left when he saw Cao Song was there in front of him. The forest was a lot larger then the last time he came to these land around twenty years before this time.

Cao Song did not realized that these lands were own by the Sun family but was not really to many people in these lands so was not really well protected by the guards and not many people were making sure that no one were looking to much at the forest. Cao Song decided to walk back toward the camp site that they were doing to rest for the night and landed at a plane view location if someone was close to the location could easily see him.

Jian Ye.

It was more of the uninhabited, uncivilized areas of the city¡¯s influence in Jiang Dong. Jian Ye itself was avoided in a way by lone travelers of war; they were practically neutral or under little Han command, and they didn¡¯t really wish for battle to enter their conditions of living life. Thus Cheng Pu had decided to go by the forests of Jian Ye while he returned from the battle at Lu Jiang. Crushing the remnant of the Yellow Turbans in Jiang Dong from across the river, it had been a nice battle of surprise and slaughter.

As his men set camp right outside the thicker cluster of woods, setting fire in a clearing, Cheng Pu noticed that there was the smell of smoke. Not from his own fire, but rather from a different source, carried by the wind. Apparently his soldiers were either ignorant to it or just too lazy to say or think anything about it. Hmm. He didn¡¯t wish to alarm them anyway after their dutiful work; they had to rest. Cheng Demou himself would investigate the matter, if there was any at all.

Venturing into the forest, Demou hadn¡¯t gone far when he nearly ran into the man. Alone as well, dressed in apparel suitable for a warrior, or at least some sort of man fitted in fighting in any way. Hmm. Good thing he had brought his weapon. Silently making sure his weapon was well strapped onto his back, and of course hoping that the man wasn¡¯t an unreasonably offensive one, Demou cleared his throat before speaking.

"Greetings, sir."

[Cao Song]

Cao Song herd the words of the man that called him Sir. He looked toward the man and has his spear out of his back to make sure nothing would happen including a surprise attack in these times nothing was impossible and that was so true. He studied the man carefully and figure out that he was a warrior of the army of Sun family. He then reattached the weapon on his back since the two army were not in a time of war.

"Greetings, I am Cao Song may I know your name?" Cao Song ask carefully and nicely while bowing a bit toward the man since it was just to be polite and they did not have a feud between them yet. He then looked and try to see if there was anything else about this warrior that was easy to read except that he was brave enough or idiot enough to go in front of someone that was unknown to him. The weapon was in his back but was easy to reach out to get it and attack if he needed to defend himself against this man that was walking toward him.

"I am sure that you are wondering mostly why that there is smoke in the forest." He smiles and laugh in front of the man figuring out so much of the things so fast that it took him less then five second to know so much about the other person and that alone surprise him. "That is only the fire that my army is resting at." He then began to think what will the man think with the last few words that he said earlier. "We are only her to remember the first battle that I ever fought and it happened in these lands."

Five of the members of his troop out of the ten he was with to revisit the past rushed toward them with there spears in hand just in case that the other warrior would try to attack there officer. "Cao Song, he did not attack you did he" The one that was in front of the other spearman and Cao Song shook his head to say no to the spearman that ask him the question.

Cheng Pu watched silently as the man suddenly took out his spear in case he would attack, then slowly reattach the weapon back onto his rear. A bit of paranoia, maybe, but it might just be who he was. Demou had certainty that he would not have to pull out his weapon, and if he did, he was quite sure that he could hold his ground against one man or a few more nameless guards. After all, wasn't that what he did in war, the battles that he participated in?

"I am Cheng Pu, styled Demou, of Wu. I've been returning from a battle in Lu Jiang and had set camp when the smoke-filled forest drew me here."

As he said this, the wind blew toward his face, blowing a bunch of smoke into the cluster of trees. Apparently Cao Song's camp wasn't too far away; Demou breathed out so as not to take in too much of the cloudy substance before it went away again, leaving only the tang of burning air in the atmosphere around them. And it was then that Song's guards came along, asking of his safety, spears at the ready. Such paranoid men... They would have learned from their master.

"I see that you are of the Cao family. May I ask if you are associated with Cao Cao and his army up north? He seems to have many warriors of his own clan as well as the Xiahou's."
