Heres something I have been wanting to do for a while, most of us here are highly educated to some standard - Not only in English but other important subjects and ways of life. Considering we all walk from different paths of life - on different lands our views may clash or may benefit eachother. I've been wanting to get a few debates off my head for a while. Being a thinker, naturally born I want to know what others think and what they can conjure about situations. I want you to spill everything and anything you can from your minds, obviously keep on task and try not too be too critical. (God isn't a fag -.-)
So my first question to the wide audience of DWRPC would be - What is human purpose?
I am not a man of religion, nor do I believe expansion or science is the answer to this question. I have yet to meet a god; or find existance of one. No man is better then another and therefore should no be idolized in my opinion. We have faults and perks, another mans pride is another mans flaw. Purposes depend upon our backgrounds. Some believe it is to achieve, others believe to serve.
But what as a whole? Who left us here? No records record time before humans. If we evolved what from? Why did we do so? If we were created - Who by? What is your purpose in life, what do you wish to leave on this "Earth" of ours. With a complex system such as a brain; it would suggest that something invented us? Does that mean we are like fish in a tank as a creator watches from the outside? Did someone create the creator and its a never ending story of creation?
Another question that has been worrying me alot is the human way of dealing for things. We look to the wise with quotes, knowledge and assistance. But are we really doing the right thing? I feel like a sheep listening to everyone around me. If someone tells me its the right thing to do and I should drop in line and follow the regime then I want to break the shackles.
I do not like the way Media portrays celebrities and murderers. A weird comparison indeed; blasted by popularity. I myself am neutral upon the fact of killing. As chaotic as it sounds, I have nothing against people who kill for the right reasons and the right reasons only. Its only when it is not permitted by a principle that it upsets me. People want to grow up to be what they see on TV (Not me, but the majority do..) Footballers... Singers.... etc.
I found my rolemodels in books, scriptures.. history. I waste no time with relics of a dying future. Why should I find purpose in wanting to become a Hollywood Whore? I do not mean to offend. It just bothers me a little.
I myself am getting a little carried away, its easily done ha. You can answer the question in a million ways. Some lamer then others. I'd rather people stay true to themselves. Try not to go for the lame answers.
You are what you are? But what are you?
Everyone is different, comprised of different feelings, backgrounds, emotions, lives, physical, mental and social futures. You are not what you are; you are unique and therefore your answer should be too!
Purpose.
As humanity has shown us throughout the years, In the harshest of ways. My concluse stands. Humans purposes is one of simplicity.
We Feed
We Kill
We Mate
We Repeat.
I do not disconsider other things; we contained aesthetic beauty like any other creature. We are dominant amongst all beasts on that planet, yet we lack the knowledge to know our own existences. We are just as lost and conceal ourselves with technologies and luxuries to hide the insecurities. We fancy ourselves up, but deep down we all know what we are. Change is something that is slowly coming indeed; Civil Rights, Social Development and other great things - but maybe it is coming too late?
Who can say; what is your opinion of Human Purpose guys? are we made to serve? Made to kill? Made to work? Made to love?
