Paradise Falls -open to all-

Zhi quickly sidestepped to the right, and as the bandit who recklessly charged at him fell past him, Zhi put his balde into him. Blood splatterd on Zhi and even more blood splatterd on him when Zhi pulled his blade out. Zhi could go to help Kaihime now because he was surrounded by a circle of bandits. Zhi thought to himself,"Fools, don't they know to never back a tiger into a corner? They shall pay for their stupidity!" Zhi charged towards a bandit and did a diagonal, left to right slash, in hopes to cut the bandit scum in half. Zhi could not let any of these fools live. It was these bandits, under command by their master to kill all of the people in the inn, and Zhi can never forgive them for that. Zhi will make sure that each and everyone of them die a slow and painful death. Those innocent people shall be avenged!!

(I have been recently having a writing block so I apologize if this post really sucks, but I want the thread to continue and not be the reason that this thread slow down.)

[Yen Wang (Burai)]

Kiyomi attack was thwarted, by a crouching Kaihime; she rose her blade in her left had to block Kiyomi’s attack. This caused her to smirk, surely this woman didn’t think she could fend off her strength with just one arm? As she felt the vibration of the blades impact surge through her arms. Kiyomi’s smirk soon faded and became a grimace, as she saw the brute of a woman. Swing upward with her other blade at her stomach.

Kiyomi decided to She use Kaihime’s strength to her advantage. She quickly jolted her hands downward; the incline caused the blade to bear down heavily on Kaihime. Kiyomi released the force, using the momentum to push her backward. She only slid back a few feet, but she didn’t escape unscathed. Her shirt was sliced open. The cut ended right before her chest. For that she was thankful, She stared at Kiyomi

Two more bandits lunged forward at the man. The bandit that charged from the side had a sword, while the one who charged from the front had a spear. Suki continued to caress Burai. Comforting him as best she could his eyes hadn’t opened in awhile and his breathing slowly was declining. “Don’t be so weak..” She muttered, “You can’t die from this.” It was obvious that his health was steadily declining.

[kaihime]

damn it Kaihime was hoping her attack would have had a lasting effect on more than her enemies wardrobe. Kaihime kept Kiyomi in the corner of her vision as she turned her head to look at the young girl not far from her that had began to drag her injured body across the floor towards Burai. Kaihime stood from her crouched position and faced Kiyomi once more.

"Shigure Burai! If you think im looking after that scrog if you croak it then you are sorely mistaken"

Kaihime's words were a mixture of the truth and lies. Did she think that Anrui was a scrog? no not yet, she hadn't gotten to know the girl. Would she have taken care of the girl if Burai died? No she wasn't a child person, but she would have gotten her a guardian of some description. Her cold tone and words were designed to infuriate Burai. After all she had just insulted Anrui among other things. This was Kaihime's way, she wasnt soft and caring like most that would have pleaded Burai to live. No, she had her own ways.

[Cao Cao]

Zhi took a step backwards, hoping that as the sword on his side goes by him, it will connect with the spear being lunged at him. As soon as his feet connected to the ground, Zhi did a 360 spin to the right and as he faced the bandit with the sword he did a slash at his neck. Zhi's sword connected and went right through flesh and bone. Blood splatterd everywhere as the bandit fell foward and collapsed without a head. Zhi was almost covered, head to toe in blood, and somehow, it felt like pure ecstacy. Zhi had never felt anything this great before...and Zhi wanted more! Even as he was on the floor, blood continued to spurt out of the hole of the bandits neck. Zhi then swung his sword at the other bandits spear, forcing a weapon-lock."You fools!! Do you really think that you can defeat me?!?! Come and meet your doom!!"As Zhi yelled this he laughed maniacly, hoping to scare the bandits.

[Yen Wang (Burai)]

Chapter 3: Dawn of a new era

Kiyomi stared at Kaihime; her eyes looked past her to see the brat walking. She rose her left eyebrow. “This brat has been around Burai too long. She picked up his stubbornness.” Her eyes shifted to Anrui’s shirt, blood leaked through her clothes. Kiyomi wanted to go finish her off, but Kaihime was in her way. She drifted her eyes back toward to Kaihime; she watched the mongrel as it mocked the injured Burai.

Anrui continued to stagger over to Burai; she couldn’t pick her feet up, so she slid them across the mud. She placed her left hand over her wound and used her other arm to reach out for Burai. Suki lifted her head slightly, to see Anrui walking towards her and Burai. Anger filled her heart, “You!? You’re I’m going to take care of you once and for all!” She lifted Burai up and placed him in the mad. She slowly got up onto her feet.

“Don’t worry love, once I take her life, you will be free.” She cracked her neck, and knuckles and proceded to walk forward. Anrui ignored Suki’s actions and continued to walk toward Burai. She needed to protect him, he had to save him. Anrui staggered a few more steps. She caught a back hand from Suki; the force of the blow knocked her off her feet and into the mud.

Anrui landed on her side; she clinched on her chest as she fell and made contact with the mud. She began to gasp for air, trying to catch her breath. The right side of her face throbbed with pain. She began to sob, the pain was just too much. Her whole body ached with pain. She lifted her head off the dirt and roll over onto her stomach. She stuck out her right hand; stretched out her arm as far as she could. She clamped it down in the mud and dragged herself forward.

“Tch, still won’t give up? Just die!” Suki stepped to the side; so she was in front of Anrui, and stepped harshly on Anrui’s hand. She wasn’t don’t torturing her just yet. She lifted her tip of her foot in the air and drove her heel into the Girl’s hand; Sounds of bones popping and snapping filled the air, along with Anrui screams. This amused Suki to no end. Causing her to giggle and laugh in amusement.

Burai opened his eye slowly hearing the cries of a young girl. What he saw stopped his heart. “ARGH!” He rolled over on his stomach; placing one hand on his chest, while the other reached out of Anrui. Suki looked over her shoulder to she Burai making such a pitiful effort to reach the girl. Jealousy began to twist with her anger. She quickly moved her foot, and picked Anrui up by the throat. Suki lifted her in the air, with one arm.

Anrui grabbed Suki’s wrist with her left hand; trying to free herself from Suki’s grip. Suki placed her other hand around Anrui neck. Her hands slowly began to constrict. Tears streamed down Anrui’s face; her face began to turn a shade of blue. She struggled to break free of Suki’s grasp. Anrui gasped for air, but nothing would go in. More tears streamed down her face. She looked over at Burai; staring at him with soft eyes.

She reached out for him one last time, hoping that Burai would save her. Burai crawled forward ; inching his way to Anrui and Suki. “Suki stop it!” Suddenly there was a loud snap, and Anrui’s body went limp. “Oh, did you say stop? Well here you go” She tossed Anrui’s lifeless body toward Burai, Anrui’s body hit the ground with a loud thud and slid next to Burai.

Burai quickly scooped her in his arms, and began to weep. “I..I..I’m sorry.” Bura let out a loud wail, his body went numb. He went into shock; his mind was rush with emotions. He lost control of them; his mind couldn’t take in all of this at once. Burai passed out holding onto Anrui as tight as he could
The bandits pointed their weapons at Zhi; no one wanted to rush in blindly. Instead they awaited orders from Suki. She was too busy laughing, “How pathetic, quite the lovely scream it gave me goose bumps…” She looked over at the bandits and then at Kiyomi. “Let’s hurry up and claim my prize!” Four bandits rushed Zhi.

Kiyomi stared at Kaihime, “Mongrel, look at that he managed to get a hold of her. Looks like your insult inspired him.”

[Wei Ning]

~Wei Ning~

~Wei stood behind the whole group in thought having been just traviling through. He used to be by the spring, setting up his things for a drink of tea yet, he heard a lot of comotion. He let his gaze wander at the lifeless woman whom died then the killer and finally to Kaihime, then his gaze moved towards burai whom yelled out and he shook his head..."I run into you more then i should.." His voice boomed over everyones by now as he casually walked up, past kaihime, then past Kiyomi.~

~his steps never stopped until he reached Burai's almost lifeless body he stared for a long moment, as much as the two fight one another. His mind thought about ending burai right then and there. His hand gripped his sword and he smirked softly as he unsheathed it slowly.~

~"It's too bad my commrade liked yelena too much, and I must respect what he did, for i would kill you but. I guess its time we were on the same side." His hues turned to look upon kiyomi and then to Kaihime..."Well ladies don't let me stop your fight...heh, but miss Kiyomi i believe...Looks like ya gonna have to claim more prizes...I wont interfear, but I'll stand between you and him."~

~Wei smirked at his last statement as he wandered if she'd really wanna fight two at once...~

[Hiro]

He rain splashed on him in a fast motion in reality as he walked in the cold darkness. He was deep in thought his eyes closed, he feel each drop that hit him, he could picture the wet mud under his sandals. He could picture the bloodshed that was going to ensue, he came closer and closer to the hot springs. He could hear the quiet rain hit the ground, the mud squash under his feet, the sound of his breath, the sound of his swordsmen and archers marching behind him. This was good, his mind was clear, his sickness not overwhelm him any more, at least for now. No regrets, he took the poison arrow for his brother, he will never bring it up to his brother. He shook his head and patted his cheeks for a moment, hopefully Kaihime and Zhi weren't stupid enough to allow his brother to fight in his current condition. After the sounds to his pats on his cheeks ended it was replaced with sound of battle.

This isn't good...

Was the first thought in his mind, he raised a a fist and signaled his archers and fifty swordsmen to hide in the surrounding area and fire on sight at anyone except anyone but him, burai, and anyone who were accompanying them. The remaining swordsmen move around the battle and hid inside the building. While he moved to the front entrance. Suki, was the enemy, a former ally that was able to figure out some of his some of his mannerisms. A very dangerous threat not only to him but more to his brother, he had to make every precaution for her. There was no holding back, even if it might hurt him, for once he had to fight full on, he hating fight but he couldn't back out now. He takes out his blades and puts them in both his hands. "For brother...." He gripped his blades tightly. "For Anrui...." He tighten his eyes. "I need to make up for my hesitance."

When he made it to the entrance and the battle. Zhi was fighting Suki's lackeys, and was doing pretty well. Kaihime facing off with the female body guard. But where was his brother? Inside? He looked around and saw him on the ground with...Was it Anrui? She wasn't moving...Was she? Then he gripped his blade, his eyes widen for the very first time. "No...." He whispered, she couldn't be forgiven for this. He charged and jumped in between two men letting his hooks do the rest. He puts his blades in one hand and walked. "What the?!" A bandit cried out, but was cut off by sound a quick snap. "Suki!" He shouted as his pace began to quicken. With his eyes wide the red revealed in the darkness, fear filled that hearts of bandits that made them freeze in place. His pace went into a sprint and swung downward at her follow by a pin and quick upward angled slash aiming for her chest. His face showing his killer intent.

[kaihime]

Kaihime was taken aback by the woman's sadistic actions, torturing the young Anrui. Kaihime's eyes darted back and forth between Kiyomi and Suki, she feined a step towards the suffering Anrui only to be matched by Kiyomi. She was stuck, if she went to the aid of Anrui she would be vunerable herself and no doubt that her enemy would take full advantage of that opening. Standing her ground Kaihime was forced to feel useless as the screams of the young girl echoed through the air. Kiyomi spoke..

“Mongrel, look at that he managed to get a hold of her. Looks like your insult inspired him.”

Kaihime returned the venomous words in kind "i'm not the one competing for attention from your master, and you call me the mongrel"

[Cao Cao]

Zhi readied himself once more. Now four bandits came at him. Zhi knew his limits, he could not take much more of this before fatigue sets in. Though Zhi would have to fight through fatigue, because if he didn't, he would surely end up in the ground. Shaking that thought away, Zhi put his head back at the task at hand. Each bandit came in all four directions; north, south, east, and west. Zhi quickly turned around and charged at the bandit running at him. The bandit lunged his spear at Zhi's face. In response, Zhi turned his head to the side. Zhi then did a large uppercut with his blade, cutting deep into the bandit. Kicking the dead bandit out of the way, Zhi continued to run towards the edge of the circle. Zhi began to swing his blade around, trying to be defensive from all the attacks from the bandits surrounding him, and to also try and hit those bandits, hoping to get out of the cirlce.

[Yen Wang (Burai)]

Suki grinned evilly to herself. Her planned went perfectly. “Now I just need to grab burai and alone him to rest up, while I tend to his wounds.” Her mind wandered off; she began to think about how she was going to nurture Burai back to health. When he awoke he would reward her with a kiss, and propose to her. Her cheeks flourished at the thought of finally belonging to him. She would have both Shuji and Burai all to herself. What a lucky woman she was.

The fantasy faded, and she fell back into reality. An odd man approached Burai, he ignored the others and walked straight for him; slowly unsheathed his weapon, as he stood before Burai. This angered her; she would not let anyone harm her beloved. The man was talking nonsense to himself.

As she was about to deal with the fool; another fool came charging right at her. Surprised she swayed to the side avoiding the downward slice, as he spun she firmly planted her feet on the ground. Her eyes tranced his movements; she had never seen Hiroshi with these weapons. Since when was he so violent? Hiroshi attacked again this time it was an upward swing. Suki leaned backward alittle to brace herself.

As the blade swung upward she firmly grabbed his wrist with her right hand. She struggled to keep his arm at bay.The cruved edge of the blade cut through her dress; right above her nipple. “My dress!?” She jerk to the side quickly, that caused the edge of the to travel upward some; their was a gah in her dress, her whole breast wasn’t visible but a portion of her skin was. She applied more pressure on to Hiroshi wrist. “Who side are you on!? Idiot! What are you doing!?” She looked deeply in his eyes; she could see his anger. Suki planned on using this to her advantage.

“Of course you can kill me, but would that save Burai? You and I are the only family he has left in china. If you kill a member of his family he’ll alienate himself from you once more?” She smirked,“Can your heart handle that again? I’m not your enemy. Those people are; Burai left anrui in their care they abandoned her! They didn’t protect her…Oh, wait that was Burai’s job. I bet you told Burai you would look out for the girl too?”[/b] Her smirk faded and became a frown. “You and Burai failed to protect her; Burai was never met to be a guardian, he was trained to kill. He is a tool of destruction.”


She pulled away from Hiroshi keeping his arm in place. “Hiroshi, everyone single one of those people Burai trusted, and that trust has him unconscious in the mudd; fighting for his own life. You can allow your rage to consume you and fight me. Ultimatly loosing the brother you love so much. Or you can protect from who failed to protect him. You always swore to Protect him; turning your blade against me isn’t protecting him. I have a camp near by, I can patch him up there. There is a old woman there that can treat his wounds.”

(Ning if this was a thought tell me and I will take it out)

She smiled sweetly at Hiroshi. “That man who approached that tomboy and Kiyomi; un sheathed his blade while staring down a Burai. He said that he would kill him, but as of right now they were on the same side. Do you really want to trust a man like that? Or those people who allowed this to drag on? Hiroshi! You know me; you know I only care about my love and his real brother. That girl.. She was an object for Burai . He was using her as an excuse to runaway. I did want was necessary to bring him back to reality! Hate me if you must, but I did what I thought was best.”

She let go of his arms and took a step toward Burai; signaling to the bandits.“This battle is over..Hiroshi..Don’t let it linger, Shuji is on his way here. You know he will put Burai before everything else. If you are on helping Burai he’ll see you as a threat.”

Kiyomi smirked at the burly woman. She seemed to be phased by the brats screams. She was rather pissed, that Suki got to finish her off. Burai needed to be cleansed, needed to be reminded of the man he once was. She continued to smirk; the woman looked as if she was conflicted. Soon the mongrel bared it’s pretty fangs.

“There is no competition; no woman can stand up to me when it comes to my idol’s affection.” She brushed her hair to the side.
She looked over at the other man, why was this odd stranger standing their watching? She looked over at Kaihime. “Is this your other lover? You have poor taste..” she quickly glanced behind her to see Suki making preparations to leave. Kiyomi looked at Kaihime and at the odd man. She would give Suki time to flee. “Come now, Why don’t you both attack me together, like the odd couple you are.”

The bandits slowly backed off from Zhi; reforming their ranks, they bandits broke of the circle and ran over to Burai sealing him off from Zhi. Suki ordered them to kill them, but with the girl dead, Suki motioned for a retreat. Their numbers fell, but they were more confident. Suki’s plan was executed perfectly. One little girl created such a fuss.

Three bandits lifted Burai up and separated him from Anrui. Two bandits placed Burai on their shoulders. While the third picked up his trident and lifted Anrui to his shoulder. “We are waiting on your orders. We were really to protect Master Akimoto with our lives." Suki eyes split open. “Do not call him by that now while we are not home! These fools don’t need to know anything about his personal life!” The bandits straighted up and broke off into to groups. Half went to aid with Burai and Anrui, while the others lined up and pointed their weapons at those who opposed Suki.

~Wei Blinked a moment seeing Hiro attack from the corner of his eye. "Hiro is here too. Interesting." He said to himself as he listened to what the lady was saying he sighed an looked at everyone slowly reforming their ranks an retreating.~

~As the bandits came to retrive Burai and the girl that was dead. "Now over my dead body boys." Wei said as he rushed towards the men holding Burai. His swords slicing upwards hopefully to hit the ones holding Burai.~

~His ears then opened towards Kiyomi and tilted his head letting himself get distracted for a few moments. "Couple huh, heh Iknow she's a crewmember, but no couple here." He said to himself as he let his gaze run over Kaihime for a moment. "Heh, I bet Rui tried though." The words where all to himself though perhaps a few bandits heard.~

~His thoughts where cut short when a bandit kicked Wei in the stomache. With an angry grunt Wei stoped not toppling but more angry at himself for bein side tracked. With that kick though gave the men enough space to gain between Wei and then that it wouldn't be easy catching up again.~

~Wei stood and shook his head at his arrogant mistake. "Well That sucked, anyhow Kiyomi, ya have guts but ya can't take us both lady...Heh, hav't been able to take one right now." Wei said to kiyomi as he raised a sword in her direction. "It ain't up to you though, I believe the lady fightin ya has the say if I join or not, It is the honorable thing after all."~

[kaihime]

"hmph you can have the lapdog, i have no interest in squashing a flea such as her." Kaihime turned her gaze to Suki who was preparing to leave, she was obviously going to be taking Burai with her. "i'm more interested in the cowardly leader of this pack of dogs" She knew that now Hiro had returned they were no longer at a disadvantage. Kaihime confidently began walking towards Suki her blades held at her sides she had a feeling she could trust this man to take care of Kiyomi.

Kaihime's eyes glanced down at Anrui's lifeless body, she didn't feel any emotion as such for her;she didnt know her. But she felt Burai's anger and sadness, she knew how he felt for the young girl despite only knowing him a short time herself. Resolving within herself that if Burai can't kick her ass back to the cave she crawled from then she would on his behalf.

"If you plan to take him somewhere then i'm afraid your doing so over my dead body" Kaihime wasn't leeting Suki go anywhere, at least not in one piece.

[Hiro]

He made the cut but only to her dress, when did Suki become an even better fighter. For most that would be either a fatal blow or a scar worthy gash. Not only that she had control of his wrist. "Tch..." He listened to her words and growled with anger, she knew what could hurt him, and she played with it. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath making it look like he calmed himself. He took the time to think, with Wei Ning charging at the enemy holding Burai he could focus. He lowered his grip then instantly tightened it once more. Then without and hesitance aimed to hook one of her legs to cut and trip the back of her knee and slashed at her forearm with the sharp point of the hilt of his blade. He then sternly spoke with his full resolve.

"What kind of family kills something he held dear instead of trying to protect it?" He started off then placed a hand on his chest where his heart was. "The pain....Of losing a family member....I love my brother...." He said warmly yet in a sad tone. "My loyalty is unparalleled...I would die for him if need be..." His stern tone returned once more, his anger renewed. "What kind of family would call him a tool?! He is not a beast to be drag around a leash!" He tightened his grip on his chest. "Even if he hates me....I will be content....He would be purged with such a virus!" There was something Suki forgot about him, because he hated violence and killing, he was a healer. With his time gone he had gathered herbs to heal Burai, all he need was to get Burai.

He looked over at Wei Ning seeing him getting toppled over by a bandit. "How incompetent..." He thought to himself, he looks down at Suki. He gave a light sigh, regardless the woman will always act like she was better than him in anyway, he couldn't let her words bother him any longer. At this moment he had a choice, end her life or save his brother's. He closed his eyes for a moment, of course he would choose to chase down the bandits but he couldn't just leave his back to Suki, she was after all, Suki. Then more bandits awaited her command, so killing her without his troops were no longer an option. And she was not someone to turn your back on in a fight....But... He charged the direction between Wei and Kiyomi, he placed both swords in one hand and made it seem like he was about to attack Kiyomi head on, at the very last second he made a lateral move with his elbow, lowering himself to make a swift but crushing blow to Kiyomi's ribs to it made fully impacted her. and ran through. "Hold them off for me....If you both can even do that." He said towards Zhi, Kai and Wei. While he charged at the bandits with Burai and Anrui in their arms.

As he drew close he does a low slide kick sweeping the one with Anrui in his arms, with his hilt raised up, allowing the bandit to fall into an impale. He rolled the body to the side, leaving Anrui on the ground for now and continued his charge. One of the free bandits charged at him with a downward strike. He blocked with one of his blades and hooked the sword into the back of his enemy and makes a swift pull out motion to the point where one could see the man's ribs, the man screamed with pain. He pulls the hook out and kicks him to the side. He looked at the last two bandits and raised his one of his blades at the bandit, keeping himself wary of his surroundings in case they tried to entrap him. "If you wish to remain in this world...Drop him...If not your departure from this world will be painful." He said coldly to them.

[Cao Cao]

Zhi took a look at the body of a dead girl next to Burai. This must be Anuri that Burai mentioned. He then saw Hiro run past him, telling him to deal with Kiyomi."Don't worry about me Hiro!!"Zhi took a look at Kiyomi, and ran at her with great speed. When Zhi got close, he swung his sword in a left to right, downward diagonal direction. Zhi had to give Hiro enough time to get Burai back. Zhi could not fail, or they might lose Burai forever.

[Yen Wang (Burai)]

Suki turned around to see kaihime sprouting nonsense. “Tomboy, why don’t you wrestle with one of these men. I don’t have time to teach you how to be a woman.” She stood up straight and got into a particular stance. Her forearm was behind her; resting on her lower back, her hand was balled into a fist. While her right arm extended forward, with her palm facing outward.

“Tch, that damn Hiroshi, always is trying to be a hero..” Suki was relying on Shuji to be the reinforcements. “If Hiro and this other guy didn’t interfere…everything else would have went smoothly….” Suki rested her eyes on Kaihime. “I’m going to enjoy this.”

Hiroshi came dashed toward Kiyomi. She smirked as he rushed toward her; she tucked in her arms, to prepare herself for a direct assault. He changed his position at the last second, and sent his elbow charging toward her ribs. Kiyomi hugged her body,a s the elbow came crashing into her. The forced of the elbow knocked herself of balance and she stumbled back quite a ways. Her left arm fell to her side; it pained her to move it.

She drove her nodachi into the ground, and used it like a cane to prop herself. “This is bad…” she watched Hiroshi charged forward.. “What a foolish man…Shuji…I can’t keep them at bay myself.” As she was getting comfortable another man lunged at her. She placed her right foot back and pulled out the nodachi. She blocked the attack with the long length of the blade. She parried the blade to the side and jumped back. “I don’t have time to play…Lay down your sword and I will let you live.”

The bandits holding Burai turned to face Hiroshi. Burai opened his eyes, a blurry imaged of a man came into view. He was threating however was carrying him. We won’t give him to you!” the bandit carrying Burai yelled. Burai closed his eyes, he was confused. “What is going on? Why are these men protecting me?” His man pressed against his chest. “I’m wounded!?” Burai opened his eyes and looked at Hiroshi. He pointing his blade in his direction, stains of blood was on the blade.

“He is the one that did this to me?” Burai pushed off the back of the bandit and placed his hand on his shoulder, panting heavily. “You two, I am in your debt. Since I don’t plan on being indebted to a couple of weaklings. I will aid you against this brute.” The bandit who was being leaned on, smiled. “Suki will be pleased! We have to go back!” That name echoed in his mind. “We need to focus on this brute be for me.” The bandits nodded.

Shuji and his men were walking up the road. “Master Hiko, shouldn’t we hurry?” Shuji tilted his heard and heard his subordinate’s question. “Let them have their fun, we’ll be there soon. I wonder how my brother will greet me…”
