(OOC: sorry if I offended anyone, this is strictly IC I don't share the same feelings OOC)
Burai turned his attention to the odd couple that was at the table near him. It was bad enough that they had to announce their relationship. The man in the armor took the submissive role. While the more feminine man took the dominate one. This left a bad taste in his mouth. Why did they have to act so friendly. Perhaps if the girly-man was more womanly it would’ve been tolerable.
To make matters worse, the girly man was named Yuan Shu. Did he have any relation to Yuan Shao, he had hoped not. The Yuan name would be ruined. Perhaps he would tell YuahnShao of his endeavors. As along as there was money involved. Burai didn’t care who’s life he ruined.
Yuan Shu’s voice pierced his ears, such an annoying tone. The man babbled on about how he was going to control the land. Burai didn’t know how he would accomplish this task. There was no man that would didn’t Burai; he was the self proclaimed warrior who prowess had no limit. Burai envisioned Yuan Shu’s death; he was choking him to death with the chains of his trident. As the daydream vanished, Burai pondered on what Yuan Shu said "He would pay his men." He didn’t approve of how he label his officers as his men. But he paid them what they were owed, he would have to give Burai a fortune. The idea of the vass amount of money pleased him. But having to take orders from that man, wasn’t enticing at all.
The man with the armor seemed more than eager to please his master. “Such a devoted dog, or should I say monkey? If the monkey a title and he is happy for a day..” Burai laughed to himself. That seemed rather fitting. As he finished laughting he found the man giving him a discerning look.
“Oy, you with the armor, you best keep your eyes to yourself if you don’t want them plucked.” His eyes rolled over toward Yuan Shu. “You too Yuan Shu. I will take your high pitch voice down a few notches before someone confuses you for an ugly woman. Your lapdog there might a get few naughty thoughts.” Burai scoffed and unfolded his arms.
“I would be more than happy to order you lovers a room.” Burai slapped his knee and laughed. He was wishing this would upset them; he had been itching for a fight.

Kaihime entered the bar and instantly the smells of the various dishes made her hungry. beginning to salivate at the scent of a rather large and juicy steak that was rushed past her by a waiter towards another table Kaihime quickly made her way to the bar to order. She didn't take any notice of who was in the bar she was too busy thinking about what to have with her steak. As she waited to be served she heard a man speak, “Oy, you with the armor, you best keep your eyes to yourself if you don’t want them plucked.” His eyes rolled over toward Yuan Shu. “You too Yuan Shu. I will take your high pitch voice down a few notches before someone confuses you for an ugly woman. Your lapdog there might a get few naughty thoughts. I would be more than happy to order you lovers a room.” Kaihime burst into laughter at the man's statement, she wouldn't have if she hadn't known Yuan Shu. She had met him previously in Nan Pi and let's just say they didn't exactly see eye to eye on....well nearly everything. She then covered her mouth and tried to cease her laughter realising it would draw attention. She found it hilarious that the man had said that to Yuan Shu and was glad to know she was not the only one to speak to him like that. She looked around to find the owner of the voice that brought her so much amusement. A wide grin spread on his face and he almost jumped out of the seat to shake Zhang Liao's hand hastily. " It's been a while my ole' friend... what happened, I mean i thought you had fallen with the othe.." He froze in mid sentence as the strange looking man made a insult gestured towards him and his new lord. " Pftt anyone could misguide you for a queen with a rather large piece of cutlery" A sarcastic grin spread across his face he then turned to face Zhang Liao and released his grip on his hand. " I can't pfff i just really can't believe your alive.. i thought it was just me and my mother that escaped that mess?" He looked towards Yuan Shu " Pardon me mi'lord but this is well a long lost friend.. Zhang Liao" He grinned as he began to feel quite tipsy from the amount of wine and ale in his system and the blood rush he just got to his head from jumping up to greet Zhang Liao.

There were always a cast of colorful characters to be entertained by when one was at a bar, but today seemed to be exceptionally special. Lute in a dark corner of the room, unseen by the others who were frequenting the room. Of course he was not hidden, but due to him wearing no armor, bearing no arms, and drawing no attention to himself, most of the bar patron seemed to pay him no attention. Things began to get interesting when one armored man entered the building. Others took notice of him; they were probably scared due to the fact that he was probably with the military. Perhaps the conclusion that the military was rather harsh in this area could be drawn. Lute really didn’t mind it; he called no place home and really cared not for the common man.
Still, one by one more people entered the bar and went about their way. Two men who had come in separately were now toasting and feasting together. Lute really did not know what it was that caused this celebration, but it was slightly annoying. He only speculated that they were drunk and had formed some sort of drunken brotherly bond, which isn’t completely uncommon in bars. Now though, Lute found himself on his feet and slowly walking towards the man who had recently called out the man known as Yuan Shu and his companion. This man either had a short temper or a few too many drinks before making his way in here. Either way, Lute could be the spark that started some sort of brawl between them.
“They are all really quite pretentious aren’t they?” Lute started as he made his way towards Burai. A sigh left him afterwards as he faced in the direction Burai was facing and shook his head. He eyed Yuan Shu at this perspective for a moment before looking back over towards Burai. Burai also wasn’t really the type of person Lute would associate with. He wasn’t exactly elegant or dignified, but then again, few people were in Lute’s eyes. “It’s a wonder no one here decides to take them down a few pegs. Hmph.” Lute rolled his eyes back over to the two of them before waiting to see how Burai would react.

(pshh it's all right burai, it is funny. And sorry to everyone for not posting recently)
Yuan Shu and Zhao Dan continued to have a swell time, as Liao made his way over and proceeded to speak with Zhao about some dumb things he paid nary an interest to.
"Hello again Liao" Shu said when Zhang turned and greeted Yuan.
He saw Lady Kaihime, and turned away immediately. Though he wondered why she was here.
Shu continued to listen to and speak at times to the men, when the large man came over to the table.
What he said made Yuan Shu utter a large, sarcastic smirk. He loved when Drunken Morons approached him.
"Ahh, you best go lay down sir before your gut makes you tip over. And while your at it, how about you watch your mouth, huh?" he said with a grin.
"You do not intimidate me in the least, if you think to hurt me with these mediocre comments you are so wrong, pal. You seem just an arrogant punk that thinks talking to a ruler in this manner may have no repercussions. Since I am in a good mood, I suggest to you leaving as unless you have something intellectual to say, we ha e mo business here, sir." Shu said with arrogance.
He had no business with this man and if the warrior was coming for a fight, it would make him seem even more of an idiot.
After he finished, Shu saw a man approach the table, coughing words at this giant thug. Gonglu did not see him when he entered the tavern, even though there were few men who stood out as much as said knight did.

Burai stopped his laughter, as the lapdog gave an insult. He was unsure if it was truly one. It was a much rather pathetic attempt. “Being called a queen and large domestic animal, by dog that is barking from its leash...How quaint.” He took a moment to glance at the fool. “As your Queen, I have to orders, bow down before me and shut up, you'll never be the man your mother was!” Burai continued to glare at the man. That mutt was biting off more than he could chew. “Mongrel heed my words, know your place, before I put you down.”
The man went to attending another mutt. “I may have to watch myself before I catch one of their fleas.” Burai was more than irritated wasn’t there any beautiful women here, or person who understood him. He couldn’t stand being around such vermin. They pollutated the air he breathed and left a bad taste in his mouth.
Burai heard a voice coming from the near by; he spoke loudly enough so the person could hear. “Very... they are some what gaudy.” Burai dturned his head toward the direction he had heard the voice. He saw a man approach him; the man carried himself with such diligence and poise. He knew of only one made who’s aggroance exceeded his own. That was his close friend and mentor. His eye widen at the sight of the man. Mostly in disbelief, it was as if he saw a ghost.
That stance and look, it had to be him. No doubt in his mind. Burai wanted to pick up the man and twirl him around, like old times. That had to be somewhere private, and not in the presence of such fodder. Burai held back his tears, and nodded. “Tch, I would gladly put each of them in their place, but I don’t want to catch their fleas.” Burai was deeply moved by the presence of Lute. So much has happened, he wanted to tell him everything, but decided it would be best to keep it short. “General, you shouldn’t of kept me waiting..”
Suddenly Yuan Shu spoke, “Ah an ugly woman, like yourself, should know her place..You are talking to are real man. So be quiet. Go make yourself useful and fetch me some sake.” Burai could see that they were all cowards. “Such cowardice.. Step back general…” Burai grasped his trident and threw it forward; it wasn’t aimed for anyone directly. It crashed through the table splitting it in two. “Oy, Maid…Look at what those ruffians did to your table. They should pay for that.”
Once the damage had ceased, he saw a beautiful woman with a steak. Burai smiled at her and waved hoping she would see him and wave back. "I wonder if she will share that steak...?"

As he listened to this man speak to his new general like a common peasant..he thought. Hmm..
Gonglu liked this man's style - The brute may not know it, but he and Shu had a lot in common. Getting to the point was usually Shu's top priority.
He then talked to the man approaching the table, whilst looking at Zhao Dan's reaction.
The giant man then insulted Shu once again, then deciding to get violent and throw his pole arm directed at Shu's table.
"Now, now, Sir there is no reason to get lethal. When we could instead negotiate. You do not think much of me and I don't think much of you, this is clear, but even still you seem a strong warrior - exactly what I need at the moment. You serve my brother I have heard, why do you do this? When you can serve a real ruler such as I. Not to say Shao is weak with a blade, but his leadership involves leniancy to his troops, uttering them weak. He also enjoys paying his generals the lowest possible. don't believe me? Ask some of his top officers their salary, then proceed to ask any officer of any other kingdom... Yuan Shao will be the lower payer.. I however, pay my soldiers what is due - If you are out on the battlefield winning the land for me, you will make more money than you could dream. Of course if say, Zhao is sitting in my court all the while you are fighting, he will obviously not make the same money as you would.
You see, Shao does not give his men what they are due, I however do the exact opposite. I doubt your opinion has changed of me, though it shouldve - Dont judge a book by it's cover, they always say."
Shu said. he doubted Burai would defect but nevertheless he wanted to get his point across.

Kaihime's burst of laughter seemed to have gone unnoticed by EVERYONE in the tavern, i suppose that's a good thing Kaihime's thoughts were interrupted by the wafting smell of her steak and vegetables. tuning out the insults being hurled throughout the tavern Kaihime took the first bite of her steak, and gosh it was good; definately worth the steep price. She looked up from her meal as something was thrown across the room destroying a table. Her attention was then drawn to the man that was waving at her, she didn't know why but there was something about him that made her want to wave back. Kaihime smiled and waved at the man then noticed he was looking at her steak. She thought about her current money situation and decided what the heck she would shout the man a meal. She had been paid a nice amount and it wasn't like she needed it all. She ushered to the waiter to come to her, she then whispered in his ear to order another meal for the man. She didn't want him to hear her order it as she wanted to surprise him with it, he seemed to be rather hungry.

Burai stared down at the man; without blinking or showing any emotion he yanked on the chain of the Trident and summoned it back to him. Catching it with his free hand. Yuan Shu, began to speak. Burai thought he made his message clear. He reversed his grip on the trident, and prepped it for another throw.
Burai hated snakes; especially those that would slither through any conflict on their belly. He listened intently to everything he said. An odd smirked formed on his face. “Hmph!” Burai rested the trident on the ground, and folded his arms over it. Allowing the weapon to rest against his chest. Burai eyes remained focused on Yuan Shao.
“Oy, I will only say this once. Listen carefully… I don’t serve Yuan Shao. He is just the man I work for..Nothing more or less. My only concern is the gold he supplies me with. In return, his army will be invincible. No fool will dare point their blade at him as long as he has my aid.”
Burai tilted his head to the side. “Yuan Shu, you are right, Yuan Shoa doesn’t pay me what I deserve, I don’t think you can provide me with what I desire..” Burai paused and took a quick glance at Lute and then back at Yuan Shu. There was only one man that was worthy to have his loyalty. That man stood beside him, Lute Saika. “Oy, there is only one true ruler of china, and you...are in my presence. As I see it. You can ally yourself with me, surrender yourself to me, or die a shameful death. This goes to all that impose me.”
Burai was sure his statement made it clear what his intentions were. He was going to sweep over China like a silent plague. “Yuan Shu, what will it be?” Burai eyes fell upon the beauty at the table. She seemed to be enjoying herself, that itself was a delight. He waved at her again; “Once I clean up this mess, I’m going to come join you for a nice conversion.” He chuckled, always found time to flirt with an enchanting woman. Burai picked up his trident again and awaited Yuan Shu’s response.

Gonglu listened intently to Shigure Burai and his proposal. He figured the man still in denial of his independence. Nevertheless, his proposal was reasonable for the type. Shu still thought this would suit his interests in the warrior.
"Hmm Yes, I believe allying with you will be... reasonable." He said while eying Burai's trident. "Please, there is no reason for you to carry the weapon, at arms. I know, if we got into a one-on-one fight you would come out victorious." Even Yuan Shu was not that egotistical. "Regardless, this conversation shan't turn violent I assure you." He said, hoping the man would put away his weapon.
Shu realized he was straying off topic and decided to get back there.
"I understand you are reluctant to serve anyone; You are like many young upstarts these days... But just try to think diplomatically for a moment - Your salary would increase, possibly drastically, if you join me and depending on how you do for me. I do not just hand my officers their pay, they earn it. And if they do not they will not receive as much payment as the next, more hard working general. I say that now: I'm sure you of all people, being the warrior you are understand this." He said.
"But since you do not see my ruling fit, I will leave you be, serving under my weak-minded sibling... To me, he disgraces the Yuan family name - Taunts of his strength but does nary a thing to prove it. Hmph."
Gonglu said, while smirking and sipping the wine presented before him. He looked over to the man Burai so-respected, and vaguely wondered why he did.
