Rui nervously moved towards the gates of the city of Wan. The towering man next to him was his brother Kenshi who was boldly following him as his bodyguard. Very few people would really want to fight against a heavily muscled pirate which made him perfect for preventing anyone attacking Rui.
Rui's reasoning for travelling so far from the safety of Hui Ji was due to a lack of men helping him in his growing army. The pirates were under threat and needed to locate warriors to join the ranks, they needed to grow in strength to prevent chaos spreading near their lands.
Rui was also hoping to start forming alliances with other kingdoms and their leaders in hope of forming a barrier against future attacks. Rui was thinking less like a pirate and more like a true Governor but still deep at heart he continued to have those dreams of returning to sea.
Rui sighed and managed to get past the gate after blending into a crowd and sneaking past the guards. The pirate leader chuckled and darted off into the streets with the titan close behind. "Remember, avoid causing trouble and try to find some ronin whilst gaining information upon who is the leader of this city." Rui explained to Kenshi before the two of them headed into the streets to start talking to the locals for information.
Rui only had to fear the possibility of being targeted for attack, he had no idea who the leader of the city was so it put him in a difficult situation but he was willing to take the risk. His heart felt heavy as he remembered Kouji, the boy had sacrificed himself to protect the pirates after Lu Bu attacked. Rui missed having Kouji around and the Red Siren seemed so empty without the kid being around to lighten up the pirate crew. Rui shook his head knowing that he had to focus upon gaining allies, this way he could fight against Lu Bu and Dong Zhou and get Kouji back.
