Name: Xu Longwei
Age: 18
Residence: Xu Chang
Appearance:
Xu Longwei is very tall, standing at about 6' 7" tall. He has a highly athletic and highly acrobatic build. He has a youthful, yet strong face with a thin black goatee. His skin is slightly tan and mostly flawless with the exception of the occasional scar. His hair has been colored white to set himself apart. He has two markings tattooed on his forehead for the same purpose (see below). His eyes hold a sort of intimidating darkness that could make someone a bit uncomfortable if they were to look at him for too long. He has several lashing scars across his back and another scar on his shoulder where he had been shot with an arrow by 'accident' as a child. He has a tattoo on his right arm of a two-headed dragon holding onto the moon. It holds no symbolic significance; it was simply something he wanted. Also, he wears cloth shoes that silence his footsteps. His clothing and armor serve to allow him optimum movement with the least bit of sound.
Faceclaim:
Hairstyle and armor:
Personallity:
Xu Longwei is a fairly quiet warrior. He prefers to keep his thoughts to himself and not speak to those he does not trust. He has no respect for those of upper class, especially those who administer punishments to those they believe deserve it. He hates the idea of aristocracy and would prefer a leader with good intentions for the people rather than simply claiming the land for their own. He loves to fight, but will not play fair...ever. He also likes to carry out assassination missions, simply because it is typically one of those self-serving aristocrats that he is asked to target. Also, he has a soft spot for the weak. No matter what, whether it be a normal day or a day on the battlefield, if he happens across peasants who obviously have no battle experience, he will spare them and even try and defend them...even from his own troops.
Weapon:
Thorns of Peril
Weapon Strengths: This weapon is good for close up fighting as it has steel claws on each finger as well as the two fangs on the demon head. The chainmail glaves that slip onto the hands underneath the claws also serve as guards for Longwei to catch an opponent's weapon.
Weapon Weaknesses: If Longwei were to try and block a weapon soley with his hands rather than dodge, his hands will eventually begin to hurt or, if he's unfortunate enough, the chainmail could break. Also, these weapons have absolutely no chance on hitting someone that is farther than arms-length from the user, unless he were to move.
Armour:
See above for appearance. His armor consists of a chainmail shirt with a metal pad over his left bicep. He also has half of a metal breastplate over his left chest and it fastens to his body by means of a belt that winds around his body one to the other side of the breastplate. He also wears steel shin guards.
History:
Xu Longwei was orignally born in Nan Pi, under the rule of Yuan Shao. He was born into the life of a simple peasant. One night, when he turned twelve, he, along with several other young boys were taken to the main city. There, they learned how to become warriors. Surprisingly, Xu Longwei seemed to excel beyond most of the other boys. As such, it was decreed that he was to serve as a bodyguard for one of Yuan Shao's underlings. Sadly, this officer was incredibly demanding and abusive. Not only was Longwei expected to protect him from assassins, he was expected to do things like fetch him tea or food or deliver a message. Sadly, Unforutnately, these were not things he was particularly adept at. As such, Longwei was subjected to several cruel lashings across his back. The final straw came on his 14th birthday. As he was leaving his master's home to deliver a message to Yuan Shao, an arrow pierced his back. He could hear his master call out to him, claiming it was an accident and that he would be compensated if he were to return alive.
Furious, Longwei managed to pick himself back up and finish his errand. Though he did not ever meet Yuan Shao in person, he blamed him for his predicament. When he returned to his master, he demanded his compensation, but the foolish officer claimed to have never offered such a thing. Full of rage, Longwei strangled his master to death for his cruel behavior. He had then abandoned Yuan Shao's kingdom in search of anyone who would band against him, except for the Yellow Turbans. To him, they were just as pious and arrogant. In his search for a new force to join, he had learned to defend himself in hand to hand combat and learn how to move with the silence of a deadly panther. Also on his journey, he discovered his current weapons inside of a cave. He believed that they were meant for him and would bring him great strength. He now sets his sights on the Forces of Wu to join. After all, even though this is a land that has been conquered by a lord, he seemed far different from the typical man of his status. He seemed to be like one of the guys, in a manner of speaking, and that was a quality that Longwei preferred in a ruler.
Other details: This isn't a detail for the character, but is it wierd that his history is more comlex than my main character? lol
