This day at Xin Ye was a beautiful sunny day. The birds were chirping around the land looking for the worm of they will only be able to eat in there little dreams. The animals were running around the rabbit being chased by two fox and a bear was getting tired of hearing the noise they to get his rest. The road was muddy from the rain of the day before and the rocks were not the best quality in the sense they broke easy in this awful weather. The gates were close and the guards were guarding the city at such a early morning that there eyes were closing alone.
Ti Quan was walking down the road all covered with mud and a bit of blood from the enemy she had to kill to survive the cruel nights that she was in the wild. She herd that one of the greatest cities that will be able to give her work and protection while she would be resting there would be in the city of Xin Ye. She was finally able to see the town. She was holding her stomach that was injured by a sword of a bandit that she killed shortly after the hit.
The Guards was able to see her and one ran to her quickly. He looked at the wound and tries to help her on her own two feet. "Get Ma Chao here he should be the closest to the gates." The other guard ran in the city looking for Ma Chao. The guard that stayed with Ti Quan was wrapping the bandages the best he could before that she see's a doctor but first she needed the permission of lord Ma Chao since she is obviously a warrior trained with a spear and a unknown one to make things worst.

Xin Ye.
It was another usual day, nothing much of significance in the daily routine of his walks and check-ups on the work done in Xin Ye. He had only recently begun to take over just a bit more responsibility in his career at Xin Ye under his lord's service, and in fact it had grown more rapidly than he had expected. Quite frankly, Ma Chao was not the type to go around working his guts out and laboring till he tired. But he did, nonetheless, assist in the tasks that he could, looking for ways to help, and most importantly making sure injustice was not dealt.
He was standing among the city watch, joining in the patrol of the guards and while being involved in their work, he also observed the work patterns of the guards themselves. They would be well-trained, well-disciplined, and of course obedient and willing to do the lord's bidding, but one would never know, hmm? It was then that a single man rushed up the steps of the walls, beckoning him to follow him and most apparently out of breath. Immediately falling out of line, Ma Chao joined the lone guard as the two rushed back down from the walls.
"What is it, private?"
"Sir, we've found an injured girl outside the city walls. We have yet to treat her with proper medication, as she is fully armed."
"Armed or not, she is injured. Where is her wound?"
"She seems to have been hurt in the stomach."
"Has she lost much blood?"
"I am not sure, sir."
"Get a doctor, now."
Without another word to the private, Ma Chao whistled over to a couple of stable guards as they quickly rushed over a couple of horses, both of which Ma Chao would personally guide toward the location. Not a glance was cast toward the soldier; he would be given credit for his work, but now was not the time to get another load on his back. One man taking two horses? It wasn't an easy task for most, but Ma Chao was... well, Ma Chao. Leaping onto one steed, he shouted at both as they immediately lunged forward, both being well-trained and familiar beasts of Mengqi's career.
It was only a few seconds ride, in fact, before he reached the scene of discovery. A single girl, supported by one or two guards. She had indeed been wounded in the stomach; the private had been descriptive enough. Sternly signaling to the guards to place her on horseback, the guards obliged as they moved to stretch her out on the secondary steed.
"Are you alright?"

Ti Quan was confuse when they helped her up on the horse the blood was falling on the back of the horse. She was still continuous and seemed in pain but not fainting at all. She looked at the man that was with the two horse and she knew that the man was one of the great officer of the kingdom. She did not know his named but she knew that she could ride the horse even with her injuries. She did not try even do she knew she could cause she had a choice not too and she was going to take it for less pain on her own body.
Ti Quan looks at the man that asked her if she was alright and she did not know how severe her injuries were was hard for her to answer such a question. "I believe that I am alright but I am not a medic so my injuries are hard for me to tell the intensity of it." Her smile showed you confidence that she believes that she will be alright but that could be either good or bad depending on how bad the injury was.
Description of the injury:
The wound was wide enough at least a quarter of a inch long. The injury seems to be around one inch of deepness were the blade hit her. The length of the cut was around six inches. The blood was dripping a lot but not enough to kill her before the medic would be able to patch the damage.

"Well, you'll have to survive on that until we reach the city. It's only a minute's ride away, and don't worry about the horse; it's one of the well-trained ones, it won't kick you off or anything. I am assuming that you are in much pain, so stay with me, I'll continue conversation if it helps at all. Get a move on."
The last remark was, of course, directed at the two horses, who immediately obliged and galloped on in the direction that he beckoned towards, heading back toward the city at a nice fast pace. The gates once more towered above them, grew more clearer, and soon enough they had reentered through the large gates of the walls. Immediately dismounting, Ma Chao turned to the woman himself and personally pulled her down from the horse, picking her light body up and moving her onto the approaching stretcher which the medical crew had already prepared.
"We're here, you'll be fine," he continued to reassure her with quite a stern voice, in fact. "Can you tell me what happened?" he added as he reached for her weapon strapped onto her back and began to loosen it, the doctor at the same time checking her wounds while the rest of the crew shoved through the people as they made way for the medical building. The spear would only be a nuisance to her and the doctor as she lay on the stretcher, best to confiscate it for the moment. He would inquire the meaning of the weapon later on; now there were more important matters.

Ti Quan was in pain and tried to hide it but from the way the man talked she was not doing a good job of hiding the pain. She was there on the stretcher seeing the people that was looking at her basically mocking her since she was hurt did not make her feel so good. Her spear was taken from her but she was reaching for it holding just on top of the blade weakly which was easy to remove it from her. She was scared of losing the spear since it is the only memory of her father and mother that shared her own blood.
She was losing a bit of her mind while bleeding and hearing the question on what happened and were it happened was hard to describe but she will do her best. "My injuries were made by a group of pirates close to the Wu regions. I was there on a adventure to find my self if you wish to call it in these sense. They died after since I slain them my self to make sure they could not cause more pain. The wound was patched from the medic over there but it reopened when I was in these regions and here we are."
She stopped talking and saw the medic was finally done patching the injury. "Thank you" She said softly to them both and tries to get up but the medic asked her to stay down for the moment that she needed to rest. She did not want to rest in the fear to waist the place of another person that might be in even more pain then she is in herself. She looked at Ma Chao and place her hand on his shoulder. "What may I do to repay your kindness stranger?"

Ma Chao raised an eyebrow as he saw that the woman was refusing to let go of her weapon. Not an uncommon sight, really, but she was a wounded one, not a warrior ready to fight in battle. Taking the weapon away from her without much hesitance, Ma Chao tossed it over to a nearby guard who had been joining the medical crew in pushing back the crowd as the group entered the medical building. Moved from the stretcher to a bed, the girl had been patched quite quickly as she briefly explained the cause of her wounds. Hmm, pirates...
"I am afraid that I cannot assist you in taking vengeance upon these ruthless villains," he said with a slight furrowing of his brows. "The Jiang Dong region is far distant from Xin Ye, and I suggest against visiting the same parts again. These pirates are vicious bandits; they will not hesitate to steal, pillage, and murder. Rest assured, however; you are safe from their reach and are within the comfortable haven of Xin Ye."
Pulling a chair toward the bed as the doctor nodded to him and left with the rest of the crew to attend to other patients, Ma Chao sat beside the woman and continued in the conversation, both out of curiosity of how things had happened in more detail as well as an attempt to keep her company and calm her down from possible aftershock of the attack and the wound. If her account of the story was true, then she obviously had been a good fighter; and speaking of fighter, the guard had left her spear leaning by the doorway.
"You may tell me your name and the reason that a woman like you are out here alone, with a spear. It's not a common sight, and I'd like to know more."

She looked at the man that was with her in that moment and saw that he was interested in her but in which way was still unknown for her. She knew that it was not to hurt her but is it to make her join his forces to help them with there goal which she would not mind to help them but she wants to know the people a bit before anything happens. She looks at the crew that was leaving the room leaving her and him alone which was making her a bit nervous not knowing the man or what he would want to do to her little body.
She smiled when he said that the pirates are always like that and she almost fell on the ground cause she laughed to hard. "You did understand I killed them before I left right" She then place her self more comfortable and stares at the man that she is trying to talk with. She sees her spear that was at the door and she smiles seeing that she did not lose it for ever. She got up slowly struggling to stand up and walks toward the spear. She grabs it and place it beside her armor that she removed that all she had left was her underwear and the bandages.
"I am sorry, I do not wish to lose my spear since its made very well for the well I use it and it was of my fathers that he had for bandits that would come and I keep it in memory of them." She then sat looking at the man kicking her leg back and fort. " The reason I travel is to find something I can do with my skills to help China be in peace once again even do I will not do enough to make it happen I know every bit help. If it means killing a person to keep them from killing five others then I will kill them before they do anything."

She wasn't the only one to care so much about her trusted spear. Ma Chao himself had the Spear of Justice, Stallion Fury, by his side always, ready to help him through the difficult and even the easiest of situations. Even now, the weapon lay strapped onto his back, tight and firm, yet easily within grasp and flexible use. Only hesitant for a short bit as the woman rose to pick up her own spear, Ma Chao relaxed again as she placed herself upon the bed and sat on it as she continued to talk to him. Hmm.
"Maybe you can use your skills, which are apparently most extraordinary, single-handedly killing a band of pirates and all, to contribute them to the virtuous and just cause of Xin Ye and Lord Liu Bei's army? We may be small in land, but our will and our potential will not waver, even upon the face of death. How about it? We are fully willing and most happy to accept you if you will.
"And... name? I myself am Ma Chao, styled Mengqi, of Xi Liang, son of Ma Teng and the first of Han Sui's famous Eight Riders of Xi Liang. I have submitted myself to Lord Liu Bei's righteousness after hearing of his wonderful merits to his people."

Ti Quan was a bit curious on the information that the man thrown at her. The name was familiar since she did grew up in the north of China and her adopted farther worked with the forces of Ma Teng as there gate guard. She saw many famous people but did not talk to them since she was a shy person that does not like talking to the person that does not begin the conversation. "You are Ma Chao I believe that we meet a long time ago, you might not remember me do since I was around the age of ten years of age or maybe eleven when I lived with one of the guards of your father guards that was transfer from Ye."
"I am the one known with the nickname of White Phoenix but I am not known as much as you are Ma Chao or even close as much of Lu Bu that is apparently picking up people to make his own army right now." She stalled as long as she could before telling him his real name but her figured out what ever she did she will need to answer him sooner or later. "My name is Ti Quan, formerly Liu Quan before my parents death when I was young then adopted."
She then grabbed one of the towels that were place to be washed at the closest water location she decided to start cleaning her spear. She was obviously struggling with her pain and does not try to hide from you but does in front of anyone else for the simple reason she trust that you would not try anything. She was washing the spear and then placed it back with the armor that she decided to clean the blood of also so it would shine like the sun on a glorious day.

"We've met before? How interesting. My father has had many guards, of course, so I must quite frankly say that I cannot recall a single individual from among the many that I saw and grew up with from a young age. Well, that was all happening before my father was... lost. The majority of my clan exterminated, my father unknown, and all that is left for certain is me and my cousin Ma Dai, who has thankfully joined me in my service under Lord Liu Bei. Cao Cao, the vile villain, this is all his doing."
White Phoenix... Had he heard the name before? ...No, unfortunately, he hadn't. Or maybe he had, only to be so ignorant to it that he passed it over. Either way, what he knew now was that she was a female warrior, very uncommon, and apparently had earned a small name for herself as well. Hmm. More than a few women seemed to rise to prosper these days, as he had only recently grown to realize.
"Now please don't ignore my offer. I ask again, will you be willing to submit your skills to Lord Liu Bei and the army of Xin Ye, to our just cause?"

Ti Quan looked at Ma Chao with her head side ways and starts to think if she should join there army or not. The people will need her even do women are not known to be great at battling maybe she could be a secret weapon for the army of Liu Bei which would be what she wants to do. She was not sure if the offer was the best one she will get if she looks around but it is maybe for the best just to join them and hope they are the best choice for her and also for her spear.
"I will accept the offer to join the ranks of the army of the great Liu Bei and follow his Valor were ever it will go and hope that the army will bring peace around the lands once more and and keep it for ever in a piece full harmony." She just hope that her power will keep her alive to see the day of peace once more but those odds are stack against her.
