On the surface she puts off a delicate and gentle atmosphere. Speaking in the softer register of her voice which of course is all apart of her ploy. Most of the time when women speaks in a softer register men tend to feel the need to get closer that is if they care to hear. Which being attractive tends to make them listen just a little more.
To call her a good person would be a grave misconception because often what appears to be the sweetest intentions are often laced in the worst of intentions. Her actions are usually only because they are to her benefit never will she most likely do something out of kindness. Even if it appears at times that Xiaoli Lien will do kind things for others with a sweet smile and a angelic face. Xiaoli Lien is greedy, she enjoys the greater things in life and by using her feminine features often she can get just about anything that she desires.
When someone makes her angry she is no stranger to getting the revenge that she sees fits. Though most of the time as far as her dirty work goes Xiaoli Lien tends to have other people do it, less blood on her hands. Though she is not someone to take a simple revenge, most of the time she thinks the person not to be worth the time.
Deceiving people is something she only sees as a game, never does she see having a long standing relationship with someone as something to be valued. Especially those of the male persuasion, often Xiaoli Lien sees men as nice toys that she can keep around for a while. Often though men never last that long for her, she will throw them to the side for something new and shiner more times then none. Then again she never has a hard time attracting a new one, knowing how to pose herself to become whoever or whatever that man desires.
Most of the time though, intentions are far from good. Xiaoli Lien will draw people in and often leave them with nothing but her poison kiss planted in their memory.
Appearance:
Her hair is a jet black color that is more then often up in different floral decorations, when down it hangs around her face. Xiaoli Lien most of the time has light pink lips at times though they will be a ruby red. Lips are thinner yet they seem to fit her facial structure well. Skin tone is a milky white and makes her have a sort of glow around her more then often.
Body shape is delicate though it is not as if Xiaoli Lien appears to look sickly. Her body is though kept in a good shape and often maintained threw out the years. Her clothing often shows her well maintained figure which of course is just so she can use it to her advantage. Dark colors tend to adorn her the most of the time though sometimes it can depend on the situation she is.
Eyes a dark green color that can stare threw just about anyone. Then again when she means to charm someone, they hold a sort of warmth that can draw in anyone. At times they can show the darkness that truly begins to build in the women.
A cameleon of any situation.
Armour:
It is rare for Xiaoli Lien to really find a cause that she belives is in fact worth fighting for. Most of the time she will fight if the battle will throw her off of her original plans. That being said whenever she goes go into battles, etc. she tends to like to keep it a bit more simple.
Xiaoli Lien's outfit is pure black and covers a good portion of her. Some of it is made of a more padded material but mostly the outfit is designed for her to have more room for movement. Then again it does mean that she has to move faster because she cannot take hits as well as someone in armor. The vail is because in general she tends to show her face, after all then most of the time they really have no idea who she is. After all the battlefield is not for talk.
Dark hair usually up and out of her way. When she gets in this mode which is very rare for Xiaoli Lien, she makes sure nothing stops her.

The two swords that she has are called Tiger hook swords. About the only difference between Tiger hook swords are the fact that they have a ornate hook on the top of them and that the handle to them have a sort of blade appearence. Most of the time have a tendency to be rather sharp.
A weakness of her swords are that they all around have rather sharp and pointy edges. Meaning at times if she is not careful Xiaoli Lien could always cut herself. Not sharpened right often it makes them harded to fight with and often less effective. The metal is also thiner so they remain to be rather delicate.
Good thing about them though is that they are light and rather easy to handle. Making it easier for her to move faster and make any kind of advances quicker. All around though for what she wants to do they work quite well.

Xiaoli Liens father died when she was at a very young age, about two years old and so she never really had much of a attachment to the man. Her mother raised her, but she hardly sees her as any kind of figure of respect. Ever since her fathers death the women just drinks her life away and most of the time Xiaoli Lien can remember being taken care of by variety of nannys but never really by her mother. Regardless of her fathers death though her mother and family entirely remained very wealthy and Xiaoli Lien was raised with a joy for money.
Though her mother demanded that her daughter know the proper ettict to being a lady so Xiaoli Lien got trained for relentless hours on how to be just that. Her talent at doing all of it seemed to shine threw most of the other girls, Xiaoli Lien seemed to know exactly what she was doing. Even at the age though, her skills in manipulating people seemed to be one of her talents. Tricking people at a young age to get her all the toys that she wanted and all the pretty dresses that she could of ever wanted.
Even in the lessons they always tried to ingrane in the girls that to be a proper lady that you had to be the best and sweetest ever. Though Xiaoli Lien often questioned it, often asking questions about how that was ever going to get them anywhere in life. After watching each of the girls soon get married off to some man and then getting pregnant and running after a bunch of brats she decided that she was far better then them and meant for another life.
Though she did have a small romance with a man during that time. Xiaoli Lien thought him to be perfect and ultimately dedicated to her. Little to her knowledge though he was having a affair with another women.
So, Xiaoli Lien has stayed away from marriage for quite a few years that is until her drunken mother stuck her nose in. Now her mother plans on using her daughter as a barganing tool so that she can dip her hands into a much larger pool of money. Her mother decided that going and telling the man that her daughter was ready for him to take his hand in marriage would be the best thing to do. He agreed to it, after all nothing like having a trophy wife?
When Xiaoli Lien found out that her mother had done this, she agreed but the whole time the cogs in her head were turning threw every cheer and smile. The night before they were meant to be married, the women who was her husbands mistress came to her. Told her of how she would never be what she was to him, that he had told her night and die about how much he loved her and hated Xiaoli Lien. How imperfect Xiaoli Lien was compared to her.
This sent her over the top, she bribed the women with mass amounts of money to not tell anyone they had talked. Her anger had reached its ultimate peak.
Shortly after her fiance called her to bed that night and she put on a garder which kept the knife that Xiaoli Lien had on her concealed nicely. Tucked away he touched her lightly, giggled and whispered the sweetest things in her ears. Oh did she play the game and of course she played it well, that was until she was tired of it and told him to close his eyes. Reaching down she slipped the knife out and the last thing she whispered in his ear was "you really should pay your whores off properly". His eyes grew huge and before he could say anything, Xiaoli Lien dug the knife into his heart at that moment it is said that was when her heart turned to pure ice. Her mother had watched the whole thing outside of the door and the women was much weaker then Xiaoli Lien. She could not let the women get away with telling the world. Xiaol Lien did the one thing she could, the women all ready had a fuzzy memory and there was only way she would ever tell. So Xiaoli Lien took that same knife and cut her mothers tounge out with it.
Though needless to say after that, Xiaoli Lien made sure to set it up to look as though he had been murdered and her mother who was found unconsious on the floor had tried to protect her husband from the man then the man who had done it ran out of the room into the darken streets. She played the young widow, crying and throwing herself into a deep depression for months on end. Xiaoli Lien takes good care of her mother, the women most of the time now just sits in a room staring at a wall with a dazed look on her face. Eventually though rumors of course spread that she had murdered her husband and soon she grew to have the title "The Black Widow".
With the money and everything that she has now though it matters very little to her what people say. After all if anyone gets to close to the truth she can bribe them or even have them taken care of. Even if her own mother starts trying to communicate about what happened well...goodbye mother dearest.
